Chapter 25: 25. Chapter 25 Midnight Feeling 1
25. Chapter 25 Midnight Feeling 1
I only have this younger brother; although we constantly argue and bicker day-to-day, I still feel it's pretty good, and I always give in to him.
He monopolized the computer, so I could only lie in bed and read novels on my phone.
"Xuanxuan, how are things between you and Li Feng? I see he treats you well. Why are you so lukewarm toward him? You couldn't still be liking that previous guy, could you?" My younger brother, eyes fixed on the computer screen, said to me.
I was really into my reading, ignored him, and casually replied: "Kids, don't meddle in my affairs; just take care of your own."
"I'm the kid, humph, forget it. Although you were born a few years earlier than me, my mentality is definitely more mature than yours." My younger brother, unconvinced, said to me again.
So I stopped paying attention to him and kept reading my novel; I really didn't have the energy to discuss feelings with a little brat.
Faced with my coldness, Liu Xi stopped saying anything and went to seriously play his "Perfect World" game.
When I was really into my novel, my phone rang—an unknown number. I answered with some resentment, and my tone wasn't great: "Who is it?"
"Um, could you get Liu Xi to pick up the phone?" a girl's voice came from the other end, the original younger brother's.
"Liu Xi, your call." After I called out to my younger brother, he turned his head, I tossed the phone over, he caught it steadily in his hand, yet he didn't say a word of thanks to me.
"Hurry up and talk, I still need to read my novel," I urged.
I never expected this heartless younger brother to treat my words as wind in his ears and start flirting with the girl on the phone.
I shoved my younger brother aside and went online myself; he didn't leave my room, but kept sitting on my bed, flirting with that girl.
I don't know how long they talked; I got a bit sleepy, but he still hadn't hung up—today's young people really know how to stay on the phone.
I turned off the computer and then told him: "Go back to your own room, I'm going to sleep; I'll leave my phone with you tonight, and return it to me tomorrow." After saying that, I pulled my younger brother up from the bed and pushed him out.
After my younger brother left, I dove straight under the covers and fell into a deep sleep.
The night was very quiet, so I quickly drifted into dreamland.
