26. Chapter 26 Midnight Feeling 2

The night was very quiet, so I quickly fell asleep.

Just as I was sleeping soundly, I felt someone pushing me; I opened my sleepy eyes and mumbled, "What's up?"

"Your phone." It turned out to be this brat Liu Xi.

I was sleeping soundly, and he ended up waking me up; you know how unpleasant it is to be disturbed while sleeping soundly, so I raised my voice and shouted at him, "Didn't I tell you to leave my phone with you at night and return it tomorrow?"

After saying that, I pulled the blanket over my whole body and continued to train my blinking.

Unexpectedly, he forcefully pulled open my blanket and said, "Here's yours, your phone." After saying that, he tossed the phone onto my bed and left.

I also didn't care who was calling, didn't answer, and continued sleeping.

Unexpectedly, the phone's music rang like a death god over and over in my ear; I reached for the phone, put it to my ear, and said, "Who is it? So late, won't you let people sleep?" My tone was extremely angry.

"It's me, I miss you!" Although I was half-asleep, I could still tell who the voice was.

"Okay, I'm sleepy; if there's anything, let's talk about it tomorrow." I said, feeling very sleepy.

When I was about to hang up, the voice on the other end sounded again, saying, "Don't, don't hang up yet, keep me company with a chat."

"Chatting again, please next time you look for me, call earlier. I'm not a night owl." I said impatiently; who would repeatedly stay up half the night not letting people sleep just to chat with him?

"I'm downstairs of your building, I want to see you." As he said that, my sleepiness practically ran halfway away.

I immediately sat up, walked to the window and looked down; sure enough, in the dim light under the lamp stood a lonely, solitary person. The streetlight stretched his shadow long and long, and my heart gave a slight pang. I don't know why I felt this way.

Tonight the moonlight was beautiful, the sky full of stars, yet why does he look so desolate?

"It's so late, why aren't you going back to sleep? What are you doing standing downstairs of my building?" I said softly.

"I miss you. So I came." His words lightly touched the depths of my heart.
