2724. Chapter 2724: Discussing the Engagement 3

But since things have already happened, even if I can't raise my head, I have to raise it—what else can I do?

If I truly can't raise my head, then let Shangguan Yun raise my head for me.

After I got dressed, I called Liu Xi to wake up……

"Liu Xi, get up quickly!" I shouted loudly from the doorway.

Soon his voice came from inside, saying, "What's up? Today's Saturday, no class, why are you getting up so early?" Liu Xi, however, complained to me.

"Mom just called; Shangguan Yun's father and our father are discussing the engagement. Hurry up and come home for dinner—they said they're waiting for us to eat together." I continued shouting from the doorway.

"Oh, I understand, I'll get up right away." Upon hearing that, Liu Xi immediately got out of bed.

After opening the door, I leaned against the doorway, smiling, and said, "How about it? Want to bring Lin Chen home and take care of this together?"

"I'd like to, but you say, is it possible?" Liu Xi still said with a smile.

Looks like he slept well yesterday.

"Why wouldn't it be possible? Back then, I wasn't opposed either, right? It's not like we were schemed by you guys. What's that brand's ad? Li Ning, right? Li Ning—everything is possible." I said to Liu Xi, sarcastically.

"Older sister, let's forget the past, why bring it up? You agree, right? Alright, I'm going to wash up; later I still have to let Lin Chen go home alone, I'm not talking to you anymore." After saying that, Liu Xi closed the door and pushed me outside.

I resentfully muttered, "Damn Liu Xi, stinky Liu Xi……"

I, just keeping my head down while cursing, didn't look up and bumped into Shangguan Yun.
