2848. Chapter 2848: Wanting Everyone Around Me to Be Happy 40

"Xuanxuan, how about it, can A Yun come tonight?" Shangguan Yun's mother asked.

"Don't worry, he promised me, tonight he'll take me to eat there, then I'll send you a message telling you which private room we're in by pretending to go to the bathroom, then you can just come." I said confidently, smiling.

"Okay, Xuanxuan, thank you so much." Shangguan Yun's mother said, seeming quite excited.

"Auntie, don't be so polite with me, but just you coming over is fine; definitely don't buy anything for Shangguan Yun, otherwise I'm afraid he'll later mistakenly think you're trying to compensate him materially again, which wouldn't be good." I reminded.

"Oh, okay, okay, I know, thanks for reminding me, I already bought stuff for A Yun, but hearing you say that, indeed I shouldn't buy." Shangguan Yun's mother said.

"Hehe… all right, nothing, I'll hang up first, we'll contact later." I said, laughing.

After saying that, I hung up the phone.

I don't know why, but I've been feeling quite worried all afternoon.

Although we all think this plan is pretty good, I'm still worried that Shangguan Qu will storm out when he gets there and get angry.

I'm not afraid of him getting angry at me; I'm afraid he'll feel hurt and upset.

I'm afraid he'll think that even I don't understand or sympathize with him, and that I'm helping his mother instead, which would make me feel terrible.

Sigh… I hope nothing like that happens.

Finally, class is over…

I pulled Shangguan Yun and happily said, "Shangguan Yun, should we go home first?"

Also, I can't seem too eager, otherwise they might notice something's off and that wouldn't be good.

"You don't want to eat? Then let's just eat now and go home later; I'll call your mom and tell them we won't be coming back for dinner tonight, so they won't wait for us." Shangguan Yun said, smiling.
