2849. Chapter 2849 Wanting Everyone Around to Be Happy 41

"You really want to eat, don't you? Then let's just eat and go home, give your mom a call, tell them we won't be coming back for dinner tonight, so they don't wait for us." Shangguan Yun said with a smile.

"Yeah, that's right, but we should have called at noon; otherwise, Mom would definitely have cooked our food." I said to Shangguan Yun while pulling out my phone.

"Who would have thought that back then?" Shangguan Yun said, laughing.

So, I called Lao Ma and told her we weren't coming back for dinner.

"Wait, just eat a bit more; want to take some leftovers home to eat later?" Shangguan Yun teased me.

"I don't need a takeout; if you want to eat, you can pack some back for yourself." I also teased Shangguan Yun.

"I don't need it either, but let's pack some back for A Xi to eat, so we don't say we came out for tasty food and didn't bring him along." Shangguan Yun said with a smile.

After saying that, after thinking a bit, he said again: "Or we could call A Xi to come out and eat together."

"Uh... no thanks, that's too much trouble." I said, refusing.

Besides, today's main purpose isn't eating, so why bother calling Liu Xi out as well?

"What's so troublesome about that? Just have him come by car, call him over—two people is boring, more people makes it livelier." After saying that, Shangguan Yun went ahead and made the call.

There's nothing we can do; if we're calling him over, then we'll call him over.

Anyway, when the time comes, we can just pull Liu Xi along and go.

"Whatever you want, you're right, more people makes it livelier." If we kept arguing with Shangguan Yun, we'd definitely be found out again.

It's all Shangguan Yun's fault—he's too smart, as sharp as a ghost.

Soon we arrived at the restaurant, then Liu Xi showed up quickly, and the dishes were served.
