I nodded, tears in my eyes; Shangguan Yun looked at me satisfied, kissed my eyes, his tongue lightly licking them—cool and soothing. The pain in my eyes vanished instantly.

"All right, I really have to go back, otherwise my mom will really come looking for me." I said to Shangguan Yun, somewhat reluctant.

Shangguan Yun still held me and said: "Then when you get home, give me a call."

When I was about to leave, I suddenly remembered that when I came out with Lao Ma, I had no money on me, and I had also changed clothes.

"Yun, do you have any? I didn't bring money." I said to Shangguan Yun, somewhat embarrassed. I've been with him for so long, yet this is the first time I've asked him for money; and when I'm with him, I never take money from him—I just use his money for meals and such.

Shangguan Yun laughed and said, "How much do you want?" After speaking, he reached into his pocket, pulled out a hundred-dollar bill, and handed it to me, asking, "How many do you need?"

"I don't need that much." I said, somewhat embarrassed.

"Then let me give you my bank card; my mom deposits a huge amount into it every month." Shangguan Yun smiled again and handed the card to me.

I snatched his wallet and said, "Just give me ten dollars for the bus fare home." But I rummaged through his money clip and couldn't find a ten-dollar bill—only red hundred-dollar notes. So I threw the wallet back at him and said, "Forget it."

Then Shangguan Yun pulled out two ten-dollar bills from his pocket and handed them to me, saying, "Is ten enough for the bus ride home? I'll give you twenty; you can pay me back next time."

I took them, shoved them into my pocket, and said proudly, "I'm not paying you back."

"Just let me kiss you once, and that'll be fine." Shangguan Yun said, then quickly pecked my lips.

"So my kisses are worth that much—twenty dollars for one."

"Only I may kiss you." Shangguan Yun said, smiling domineeringly.

After saying that, I called Ahao and left. When I reached the hospital entrance, Ahao happened to arrive as well, holding medicine which he handed to me, saying, "Take this; go home with it, and your mom won't suspect anything."
