Just as I stepped out, Zhong An called to ask when I would arrive.

I honestly said, "I just left my house; I'm on my way to yours now and will be there soon."

After saying just a few simple sentences, I hung up.

I ran downstairs to find Shangguan Yun waiting, sitting in the car—what a waste, wasting money.

After getting in the car, I took out a slip of paper from my pocket and told the driver where to go.

After saying that, I told Shangguan Yun, "I told Mom that you'll come to our house for dinner tomorrow."
