"Stupid, won't you ask the butler then?" Shangguan Yun tapped my head lightly again and said.

"Oh, then I'll come downstairs to get you; see you soon." Zhong An said and hung up. I had originally told him not to come down—I could go up myself—but he hangs up the phone with unbeatable speed.

Just like last time when he said he'd come see me, he did the same—hung up the phone quickly.

"He's coming downstairs to get you? You're practically his honored guest now." Shangguan Yun frowned, eyeing me with jealousy, and said.

"Shangguan Yun, you look hilarious when you're jealous." I pointed at him and said, I really don't want to keep arguing about this.

"So what if I like being jealous?" Shangguan Yun said seriously.

"Shangguan Yun, don't be like that—I'll try to come back early to keep you company. Who made your birthday go by so fast? Before we even knew each other, your birthday had already passed. But how about I keep you company for your next birthday? From now on, I'll spend every one of your birthdays with you, okay?" I said to Shangguan Yun gently.

"Okay, that's what you said—you said you'd keep me company every birthday, and I've noted it." Shangguan Yun tapped his own head and said.

"Okay, got it. Hehe..." Seeing Shangguan Yun's face lighten up, I felt happier too.

I'm saying this now, and I truly mean it: every year on my birthday I'll stay by Shangguan Yun's side, and for each of my future birthdays I want him to stay by mine.
