874. Chapter 874 Doubt 2

I don't know why, but when Shangguan Yun said that, I felt an inexplicable sense of loss in my heart. Why won't he tell me where he's going, what he's going to do, and why does he want his dad to give him extra money?

What is he up to? Could he be keeping a woman outside? That shouldn't be.

I kept thinking more and more wildly.

"Oh, then go quickly and come back quickly." I wasn't being clingy; I just let Shangguan Yun go.

If he doesn't want to tell me, then forget it. Although we're boyfriend and girlfriend, we still need to give each other some space; even married couples need some space, let alone we're just boyfriend and girlfriend.

"What's wrong, you're not happy?" Shangguan Yun saw that I was unhappy.

"No, it's fine, you go quickly. I'll wait for you to come back, and then we'll go back to my place. Anyway, there's nothing to do staying here." I cupped Shangguan Yun's face, forced a smile onto my face and said.

"Okay, then I'll leave first. By the way, going to your place, should I buy something to bring back?" Shangguan Yun asked again.

I smiled and said: "You think coming to my place is to meet the parents? No need, another day, when I formally bring you home to meet my parents, then you can consider buying something; it's not too late. Go quickly."

Shangguan Yun scratched his head, said nothing, and left.

After Shangguan Yun left, I leaned on the sofa, thinking this way and that, still couldn't figure out: what exactly is Shangguan Yun going to do, why won't he let me follow him, why does he still want his dad to give him money, why...

A string of questions popped into my mind; no matter how I thought, I couldn't figure them out, I felt somewhat stifled—could it be...

Could Shangguan Yun be hiding something from me? I felt somewhat agitated and anxious.

Sure enough, after about half an hour, Shangguan Yun came back, as I watched the minutes tick by.

When Shangguan Yun came back, he was carrying a box of nutritional fast lines; could it be that he went out just to buy this?
