Concentrated Answers to Various Questions Raised by Readers in the Book Review Section

First, thank you all readers for making it this far.

Recently, many readers have raised many questions for me in the book review section; the most frequent ones concern the protagonist's childish conduct and the issue of the Qiluo Sect professor plotline being too heavy.

Regarding the issue of the protagonist's childish conduct, I summarize every day the mistakes I make in character shaping, and I believe there will be improvement in this aspect going forward.

As for the Qiluo Sect professor plotline, its role in my original outline was not heavy, but when the book reached 100,000 words, my mindset collapsed due to several comments and the issue of lost bookmarks (actually only a few bookmarks were lost); in short, it collapsed completely.

Then I began to re-examine my outline and suddenly felt the story I wanted to write had no appeal (now thinking about it, it was because the author was too familiar with the story to be written, leading to a misjudgment); after writing 100,000 words, the protagonist remained very weak, with no growth in any aspect, no points of satisfaction, readers had no expectation for the story, and some even felt that randomly shapeshifting to produce things would make readers lose immersion. In short, I thought everything I wrote was worthless.

So, under that anxious emotion, I made the decision to strengthen the Qiluo Sect plotline and enhance the protagonist's power. I believed that the protagonist approaching the great demon lord without knowing the plot was like a blind man riding a blind horse, facing a deep pool at midnight, which would generate strong dramatic conflict and also raise readers' expectations.

Setting aside whether these thoughts were right or wrong, at the time I thought that way and then did that, resulting in today's situation—the style of the story before and after is different...

In fact, the protagonist's behavior in the book is also a reflection of the author's mindset in reality.

But when the author stepped out of anxiety, he found that this plotline had already dug many pits; how to reasonably pull this plotline back became the problem I had to face, and digging pits without filling them is not my style, nor is it irresponsible to readers who like the Qiluo Sect plotline, so I am now in the state of "digging pits is fun for a moment, filling pits is a crematorium."

However, now this plotline is finally about to converge, and I will be more cautious in designing the plot going forward to avoid making decisions on a whim.

In fact, thinking carefully, my pain at that time was essentially caused by a mismatch between personal ability and unrealistic expectations.

So I have also been learning various writing insights for web novels on various platforms, and even bought some paid tutorials to improve my ability in web novel creation.

Finally, thank you again to all readers who can see this far; the fact that you can see this far is already the greatest encouragement to me, a new author, and I will continue to work hard to write better stories!
