Chapter 52: The Opportunity to Steal the Spotlight from the Female Lead is Absolutely Denied

"Xixi, have you treated your wound?"

At this moment.

Luo Xinian also immediately leaned over to ask Luo Xixi, the annoyance and regret in his expression plain to see.

Seeing her third brother like this, Luo Xixi knew he was likely struggling against his instincts again, so she held out her palm for Luo Xinian to see and said, "It's fine, Suna helped me treat it."

"Teacher Suna?"

Luo Xinian was stunned upon hearing this and looked at Suna in surprise.

Suna was currently irritated at the sight of this biased brother, Luo Xinian, so she crossed her arms, gave a huff of laughter, and said, "Teacher Luo has too many younger sisters and can't keep track of them all, so I had to step in and help Xixi treat her wound."

Luo Xinian knew Suna was being sarcastic; he wasn't a man without a temper, and under normal circumstances, he wouldn't care how big a star Suna was and would definitely argue with her, but he was truly in the wrong now, so Luo Xinian could only lower his head and thank Suna: "Teacher Suna, thank you for helping Xixi treat her wound."

"..."

Seeing Luo Xinian's humble attitude, Suna raised her eyebrows in slight surprise.

She had thought Luo Xinian would stubbornly retort, but she hadn't expected him to be so patient; it seemed he wasn't completely hopeless after all.

"Fine, be more careful in the future."

Suna said to Luo Xinian.

Luo Xinian nodded modestly, "I will."

Luo Xixi looked left and right from the sidelines, feeling that the atmosphere between the great beauty and her third brother seemed alright. If the great beauty wasn't obsessed with the second male lead, maybe even pairing up with her third brother wouldn't be such a bad ending?

There was still one week left; she wondered if there could be some progress.

"..."

Yan Yu kept his gaze fixed on Luo Xixi, and seeing her attention entirely on Suna and Luo Xinian, although his face remained as calm as ever, he felt quite bitter inside.

He had clearly asked about Luo Xixi's wound first, yet this damn girl only responded to her third brother; whether now or in the past, this damn girl only ever ignored him.

Was his presence really that low?

"Hmm?"

Luo Xixi felt a scorching gaze stuck to her, and when she looked back, she found Yan Yu staring at her with the face of a jealous husband, but the moment she turned to look, this guy reverted to his refined appearance, smiling as innocently and kindly as could be.

Oh my.

Did this guy study face-changing?

Seeing that both of them were ignoring her, the female lead, Luo Shiqing felt both angry and annoyed, and hurriedly asked the Heartthrob System: 【System, what kind of scenes are coming up where I can stand out? The second male lead just stares at Luo Xixi all day; who is the female lead here anyway?】

The Heartthrob System came online and responded: 【There is a water shortage scene coming up immediately. I have already provided you, Host, with a solution for drinking water; you just need to read it out when the time comes.】

【Great!】

Luo Shiqing was overjoyed upon hearing this and cast a look of certain victory at Yan Yu: 【With this, won't I be able to win over the second male lead?】

"..."

Luo Shiqing did not know that her expression while looking at Yan Yu was seen clearly by Suna, who felt nothing but disgust at the sight of Luo Shiqing's look of certain victory.

How could a woman like this be the female lead in Luo Xixi's heart?

She didn't look like much, yet she was so confident!

By comparison, Suna felt she could accept it even if Luo Xixi were the female lead.

After they roasted and ate the snake meat, sure enough, someone began to voice that they were thirsty.

"Is anyone else thirsty? Since we landed on the island, I haven't had a drop of water, and I'm even thirstier after eating the snake meat."

A female guest muttered.

Once someone started it, the others couldn't hold back either, and they all chimed in: "I feel so thirsty too. We've solved the food problem, but we still need to find a way to get water."

"Can we drink seawater? It looks quite clear to me."

"Are you stupid? Seawater is so salty, it'll only make you thirstier the more you drink!"

Seeing that the atmosphere had been built up enough, Luo Shiqing immediately cleared her throat and raised her hand, preparing to recite the plan the Heartthrob System had given her to the group, "Um..."

Who would have thought.

She had only just spoken when a "rustle-rustle" sound came from not far away. Everyone turned to look and saw Yan Yu's fist still hitting a coconut tree; the tree was still swaying continuously, and a ripe coconut fell from it, landing right in Yan Yu's hand.

"Oh my god!!!"

The crowd exclaimed at the sight.

Luo Shiqing: "?????"

Why was the second male lead stealing her spotlight too??

Luo Xixi: "..."

How much did this second male lead love to show off?

Yan Yu walked in front of the crowd holding a coconut, his expression still cool, and said, "Those who are thirsty, drink the coconut water first. Later, we'll find a way to get a container to hold seawater and use distillation to get pure water."

"(⊙o⊙) Oh..."

The crowd was now beyond impressed with Yan Yu; could this guy have maxed out his wilderness survival skills?

The audience in the livestream also marveled one after another.

【This guy is amazing! He knocked a coconut down with one punch??】

【God Yu, is there anything you can't do? This man is damn near perfect!】

【It must be a prop! That coconut tree is so thick, how could he get the coconut down so easily?】

【Prop my foot! The camera has been pointed at God Yu the whole time, who would give him a prop? God Yu is just awesome! I love this man so much!!】

【Hmph, Shiqing is still better, she's so well-behaved and quiet.】

【What does Luo Shiqing have to do with this? Did Luo Shiqing really not hire internet trolls? She's everywhere!】

"Um, Brother Yan, this is an old coconut, how do we drink the coconut water inside?"

A female guest asked with a worried expression.

Seeing this, Luo Shiqing saw an opportunity, 【System!! Quickly tell me the method to open an old coconut!】

【Host, please wait a moment, searching for the best solution for you.】

However.

Before the Heartthrob System could prepare the solution, Yan Yu said nothing, pressed two fingers together, and slammed them hard against the coconut; the coconut shell was shattered instantly.

"Take it, everyone share this and drink; the boys come with me to get a few more coconuts."

Yan Yu handed the coconut out and said to the crowd.

The group of people saw this and were left dumbfounded.

(⊙口⊙)!!!

"Brother Yan, you, you opened an old coconut with your bare hands??"

Yan Yu lowered his eyes, still calm and collected, and said: "Just a trivial little trick, that's all."

This is still trivial!!

The livestream chat went crazy once again.

Luo Shiqing nearly bit her silver teeth to pieces; her chance to shine was gone again!!

Luo Xixi, who was silently watching the drama from the side, saw that Shiqing's face had turned green; she could actually understand the female lead's mood right now, after all, as the female lead, Shiqing really had very little presence in this variety show's plot.

So she complained to her Baby System: 【Tong'er, what exactly is going on with this second male lead? According to the plot, shouldn't the female lead show off her skills and attract the second male lead? But now, how did this guy steal all of the female lead's thunder himself?】

The Baby System came online and proposed a bold hypothesis.

【Host, do you think it's possible that the second male lead actually has a system too, and is also carrying out his own mission?】
