In a world where Guides calm chaotic Espers, Ayen is an apathetic E-rank outcast deemed useless by everyone around him. Content to remain invisible amidst constant monster alerts, his listless existence is shattered when a catastrophic dungeon break overwhelms their supposedly safe yellow zone. Forced to act when his only friend freezes in terror, Ayen must abandon his indifference and carry her to safety against impossible odds.

As the battlefield crumbles, the weakest Guide discovers that survival may demand more than just negligible energy.
