Chapter 698: Conclusion Post for the New Book: Thanks to Everyone Who Has Helped Me
New book already released, conclusion post, and thanks to everyone who has helped me.
After a gap of more than two months, a very belated conclusion post.
First, let me kowtow to everyone!
Thump, thump, thump!
It is finished.
A little over two million characters; I cannot compare to the big shots, but this is the longest book I have written in my career as an author so far.
Although due to various reasons in reality, the story was still a bit rushed toward the end, and there are some things that could have been written but were not, I truly did my best.
Life has me by the throat, making it impossible for me to write with peace of mind, leaving me only to struggle for breath.
No abandonment, no forced, messy ending from random writing—that is already a result I achieved after putting in the effort.
Writing to the end, I realized one thing more and more clearly—I am still a novice.
I am so bad at this~
I cannot say I am at the very bottom, but I am definitely in the lower-middle tier.
The main point is that what I write cannot keep people.
The story is not attractive enough, there are no cliffhangers to keep people reading, updates are unstable, the word count of updates is not high enough—of course, the main thing is still that I am a novice.
I admit it, and I humbly accept the criticism.
Accepting my own shortcomings, and hoping to correct them next time!
Although there are various shortcomings, I at least verified one thing.
I am still quite hardworking, and I am also quite capable of writing...
Serializing ten thousand words a day for a whole month, I did it!
Except for those naturally gifted and hardworking "tentacle monsters," this is indeed not a challenge that most people can achieve.
It is hard.
Really, really hard.
I wanted to give up several times, just not write for the day, but every time I persisted.
Being able to persist, although there was the temptation of money from my boss (if I persisted, he would give me an Alliance Leader), was mostly due to my unwillingness to give up.
There is a saying that old readers have heard me say many, many times.
"I just happen to not want to turn."
I am not reconciled.
Really not reconciled.
If I ran away halfway, I would truly look down on myself.
But fortunately, I persisted to the end.
No matter what, my attitude is upright, I am willing to work hard, and I am capable of doing it.
This gives me a little more confidence in myself.
In this year or so, I have also experienced a lot.
Quitting my job, a breakup, gaining weight...
A six-year relationship ended just like that; although I was calm on the surface and did not want my mother to worry, I was still very painful inside.
This matter has been mentioned many times, and there is no point in arguing about who is right or wrong anymore.
Still that same saying, everyone's youth is very important.
Yours is, and so is mine.
Things have come to this, it has been almost a year, and I have nothing left to dwell on; I can only say I wish us both well.
With this, the story of this book is finished, but my life is not.
But I still have desires that have not been fulfilled.
Someone said, lose your beastly nature, lose everything.
Perhaps so.
I want to travel with friends and go to concerts together.
I want to buy a car so I can go on road trips and travel conveniently.
I want financial freedom, to no longer be bound by money.
I want to write a high-quality book.
Ahhh!
Life is really so hard—
Just let me earn a little bit of money!
Obesity has destroyed my body, making me look so ugly.
I looked at photos of myself from three years ago a few days ago, and I could barely hold it together—back then, I was still very thin.
Sadness, pain, even made me a little depressed at one point.
The burden of life is truly too heavy, and I am truly a bit tired of carrying it.
A small challenge—as long as the next book is high-quality, I will keep updating ten thousand words a day until I can no longer persist.
In all fairness, my life is not good; life has given me a lot of pressure, and even at this moment, I am racking my brains thinking about how to continue living.
I have already been forced to borrow money from Ma and Dong, um...
But I am also lucky.
In my life, there are many people who have helped me.
There are the country, society, friends, relatives... help big and small, supporting me so I did not fall.
Before I reached adulthood, I received government welfare; when I got into university, I received financial aid from caring members of society; after university, I received scholarships.
During the hardest times, friends also helped me and believed in me, and I have not let any of them down.
Perhaps looking back now, the money might not seem like much, but to me at that time, this kindness was very, very heavy.
It is only because of the help of many that I have made it to today.
Before I repay this kindness, I will not easily fall.
When I was a bit younger, I was unwilling to mention it proactively due to so-called pride, but now I will no longer hide it.
All of this has shaped the mentally sound person I am now, and in the future, I will also return this kindness to those in need of help.
And to all of you, you are my bread and butter, but you are not just patrons.
You are friends, and also like beloved family and friends I have never met.
Across the internet, you know my story, have read my writing, and understand my spirit.
This is what a friend is.
I try my best to read every single comment from everyone; these things maintain the stability of my spirit—unless you are scolding me, hmm.
Of course, if one day you really, truly cannot find me, then I must have bowed my head temporarily under the heavy pressure of life to work hard, earn money, and support my family—perhaps I might even run off to be stationed in Africa, who knows.
To go and struggle with life, until I am stable enough to return and chase my dreams.
However, I feel that such a thing is unlikely to happen.
Even if it does, I certainly will not leave without saying goodbye; I will definitely tell everyone, and I hope everyone can wait for me!
Because I will definitely come back!
Ah—
I still want to sigh, if only I didn't have to worry about money, I could write with peace of mind.
A "Quality Work," at least if I could reach "Quality Work" status, the money for a month would be just about enough.
I really want to write a "Quality Work"—
Hmph hmph hmph ha er ah ah ah ah!!!
*Cough. *
I've started a new book, a monster girl theme that I personally like very much.
Although there might not be a large audience for this on Qidian, I still went my own way and wrote it.
It's because I like it, after all.
The first book of my life was related to monster girls, and I want to find that feeling of excitement I had when I first started writing again.
Searching for my original intention?
Or perhaps rewarding myself with one to restore my sanity?
If you bosses also have the same preferences, or want to give it a try, please follow me and take a look at the new world I have depicted.
The new book title is "Diary of an Improper Monster Girl Transformation."
Hmm.
Don't roast the title; I know I am as bad at naming things as ever.
*Crying. *
I originally wanted to name it "Diary of Monster Girl Training," but I thought better of it and chickened out—I don't really want to get hit by an iron fist.
As for the new book, in short, it is—a white-turned-black Paladin, a succubus system (?), monster girls, romance cultivation (pet cultivation?).
Last but not least, here is the synopsis:
"My whole life has been like walking on thin ice; I have strictly adhered to my vows to remain pure, never breaking them!"
"……You ask what is going on with them?"
"Hey! Can a Paladin's affairs be considered breaking a vow?"
"Besides, monster girls aren't human!"
Herbert has been reincarnated.
Good news, he is a Paladin.
Bad news, having made the "Vow of Purity," he must remain pure his whole life!
Well, he was fitted with a magic ring right at the start.
This life is done for!
Not only that, he was assigned to a prison to educate and reform those most vicious and terrifying alien Prisoner types.
Raging dragons, fallen angels, dark elves, sirens, Demons, devils……
I am going to reform them? For real?
Weak and helpless, he is no match for these monster girls at all, and can only huddle in a corner, trembling with his arms around his knees.
Just when Herbert thought he would have to live a life of abstinence and wither away in this prison, he was forcibly blessed by a certain evil god, gaining a special charm that would fascinate all monsters.
And after that……
The style of things started to go wrong.
When Herbert stepped into the prison again, he found that the monster girls who were originally hostile to him had changed the way they looked at him—they, they were all coveting my body!?
It was also at this moment that he suddenly realized they might not be as terrifying as they appeared on the surface.
They are very worth reforming!
This book is also known as "Guide to Evaluating Different Species Girls," "Playing Monster Girl Cultivation in Prison."
【Comedy-oriented】 【No integrity】 【Lighthearted】
……
……
I specifically waited until the new book already had eighty thousand words before posting this concluding remark; everyone, go take a look!
The new book needs follow-up reading, very much so; this determines whether this book can survive.
I beg you all!
Go take a look at the new book!
In short, let us meet again in the story!
Love you!
Doing the splits for you!!!
