Chapter 350: The Third Martial World War!

~6 min read 1,043 words

Have you come to avenge those with supernatural abilities?

Upon hearing Zhou Huang’s words, the four Transcendents present reacted with varied expressions.

“Isn’t that an exaggeration?” asked Ye Hao, a youth with a body of Time, stepping forward to challenge: “Do you truly believe one man can destroy all the martial states?”

“This was foretold by a four Transcendent Diviner—how could it be wrong?” Zhou Huang said coldly. “Who knows what he endured in the Sixth Transcendent Secret Realm over the past month?”

“And don’t forget, there’s also Liu Qingmeng, who may become a Fifth Transcendent,” said the black-robed four Transcendent of the Five Demon Sect, his tone icy.

Gazing at the ruins of Liantian Gate, once a meticulously ordered, flourishing former Fourth Transcendent sect, now reduced to dust by a single punch.

‘The storm is coming,’ thought Chu Huang, but in the next instant he sharply turned toward an empty patch of ground: “Who’s there!”

Shhh—

Following his gaze, a golden-haired man appeared out of thin air on the distant empty ground.

The man had sapphire-blue eyes, golden hair, and a fringe hanging over his forehead; his appearance was gentle.

Over his green vest he wore a white coat, with characters from the Martial World written on the back: “Fourth Hokage!”

The moment he appeared, Chu Huang moved to seize him instantly.

But the man immediately replied with a mental image: “Don’t move—I’m only a clone; my true body is elsewhere!”

At those words, Chu Huang’s outstretched arm halted before the golden-haired man; the force of his motion cracked the rubble within a hundred meters into vast fissures.

“Who are you?” asked one of the four Transcendents, his gaze fixed on the writing on the man’s back: “Which sect does ‘Hokage’ belong to?”

“You may call me Hatake Kakashi,” the golden-haired man introduced himself. “Though the one who created me prefers to call me [Clone Returns to Village Kakashi]. As for Hokage, he is the leader of Konoha Village.”

‘Hatake Kakashi… Konoha Village…’ everyone silently repeated the names, but none had ever heard them before.

“What are you doing here?” asked another four Transcendent.

“Following Fang Can’s orders, I’ve come to deliver a declaration of war,” said Hatake Kakashi seriously. “He intends to wage war against all the states!”

The four Transcendents all frowned: “War? By himself?”

“Not just him—he has many allies like me,” said Kakashi. “Due to mental implants, I am compelled to fight you in the coming war.”

“You?” Chu Huang couldn’t help smirking. “You’re merely a Third Transcendent.”

Hatake Kakashi’s eyes flickered with resignation. “It’s not just me. Many more clones like me are being mass-produced. You have no idea how terrifying the enemy is—they possess a power similar to Impure World Reincarnation.”

“Mass-produced clones?”

“Of course—information: Jiraiya, body healthy but mentally unstable Itachi, telescope Kakashi, thick-skinned Shikimaru, Naruto raised on healthy milk…”

Hatake Kakashi grew more serious. “They’ve already transformed countless figures—not just ones I know, but countless others I’ve never heard of.”

“So what?” Chu Huang laughed at these bizarre abilities.

“Just a bunch of nobodies. Never heard of them. I told you—anyone below Fourth Transcendent is as easy to kill as dogs.”

“What we should truly consider is Fang Can—who somehow reached Fourth Transcendent—and Liu Qingmeng, who may be Fifth Transcendent.”

“Is that so?”

A cold voice sounded beside them, and suddenly a figure stood before them, appearing without warning.

His white hair and crimson eyes made the four Transcendents present grow solemn: “Fang Can…”

“How dare you walk alone into our circle of Fourth Transcendents?” sneered the black-robed one from the Five Demon Sect. “You’re asking for death.”

As he spoke, his demonic energy surged, and a complex array suddenly appeared beneath Fang Can’s feet.

As the array glowed, a storm cloud instantly formed ten thousand meters above, followed by a purple lightning bolt, several meters thick, engulfing the boy’s body.

It was a forbidden spell he had stored for days: World Annihilation Thunder Punishment.

Once locked on, it could not be dodged—even its residual waves could turn half a city to ash. But here, amid the ruins, no such restraint was needed.

‘I didn’t interfere when you explored the Secret Realm, but now that you’ve come to me, don’t blame me for acting.’

Yet the black-robed elder’s smile froze.

Before him, the descending lightning did not scatter at all—it was entirely wrapped in black mist.

Amid terrifying fluctuations, the massive lightning was slowly compressed by the black mist into a single purple sphere, no larger than a fist.

Seeing the sphere in the boy’s hand, the surrounding Four Transcendents felt unease—most of them could not even ignore such a forbidden spell, let alone compress it.

“You’ve misunderstood one fact,” Fang Can sneered. “It’s not you surrounding me—it’s you who are surrounded by me.”

As he spoke, the sphere in his hand moved on its own, shooting toward the black-robed elder.

Seeing his own forbidden spell return, the elder’s eyes widened in terror—he instinctively tried to dodge, but his body instantly locked in place.

“Hmph. Too terrified to move?” Fang Can sneered.

The answer was a substitution.

Fang Can’s arrogant clone clamped down on the black-robed elder’s attempt to retreat, forcing him to watch helplessly as the sphere slammed into his chest.

BOOM!

Just before impact, a massive figure stepped between them.

Seeing the sphere brimming with annihilation energy, the giant didn’t hesitate—he opened his mouth wide and swallowed the apple-sized sphere whole.

Thud…

A muffled sound came from the giant’s throat, followed by fine cracks spreading across the ground for a hundred li around his feet.

“Transferring all damage received to the land? Interesting. But such transfer must have a limit, right?” Fang Can said, gazing at the shattered earth.

The giant grunted but gave no answer—he clearly was annoyed.

Immediately, the many Four Transcendents surrounded Fang Can, eyes hostile, ready to strike at the slightest provocation.

“Don’t be tense. I have no intention of fighting today,” Fang Can sneered. “You’re not worthy to be my opponents.”

“Ants have their enemies. Fools have their adversaries. Everyone must find their proper place.”

“In the coming Third Martial World War, let my endless legions drown you,” Fang Can declared before them all.
