Chapter 395: Was Xuanqing Raised by a Goddess? Other Honghuang Worlds (9k, Bonus Chapter 14)
After Emperor Xuanqing shared the Five Tai Path to Dao with the gods, each deity internalized it and gained their own insights.
At this moment, a divine being asked: “Your Majesty, may I ask how the Five Tai Great Luo Method relates to the method of severing the Three Corpses to attain Hunyuan, as taught by Hongjun, the Dao Ancestor?”
“Can the two be cultivated together?”
Xuanqing praised: “You’ve asked an excellent question.”
“Severing the Three Corpses to attain Hunyuan—‘severing’ is a process of subtraction toward emptiness; when all three corpses are cut away, one approaches the Dao’s primordial source, seeking ‘nothingness.’”
“Ultimately, the three corpses reunite, then undergo union with the Dao—this ‘union’ seeks ‘perfection’ and ‘unity,’ a return to ‘being.’”
“The Five Tai Great Luo is a process of continuous ‘reversal’ and ‘deepening’ of one’s own Dao, its core lying in ‘breaking’ and ‘emptiness’—constantly piercing through one’s limitations, tracing back to a more primordial ‘nothingness,’ and finally giving birth to ‘being’ from ‘nothingness.’”
“The two paths differ, each emphasizing distinct aspects, yet they converge at the same destination—both are gateways to the highest realm.”
He extended one finger, and in the void, two distinct yet subtly connected beams of light began to flow.
One was pure and refined, continuously contracting inward.
The other was boundless and vast, endlessly tracing back to its primordial source, then flourishing anew from that source.
“The two are like climbing a mountain: the method of severing the Three Corpses refines the self, making the body light and strong, allowing one to ascend skillfully to a single peak and gaze down upon all lesser mountains.”
“But the Five Tai Great Luo method exhaustively investigates the mountain’s veins, the earth’s flow—tracing backward from the mountain’s base to its origin, then descending from that origin to survey all peaks and valleys, ultimately becoming the mountain itself, sharing eternity with heaven and earth.”
“As for whether they can be cultivated together—the answer is naturally yes.”
Xuanqing’s tone was encouraging: “The Dao is myriad paths, all leading to the same end; methods have no inherent superiority—only the cultivator’s destiny and emphasis differ.”
“Consider this: if one uses the method of severing the Three Corpses to cut away attachments to good, evil, and self, purifying the Dao-heart, wouldn’t one better comprehend the profound mystery of the Five Tai reversals, and reduce the peril of losing oneself in the void of Taiyi?”
“Conversely, if one deeply studies the principles of the Five Tai Great Luo, comprehending the true nature of ‘being’ and ‘nothingness,’ and awakening to the evolution of ‘body, essence, form, qi, and spirit’—”
“Then, when severing the Three Corpses, wouldn’t one gain deeper understanding and assistance in grasping the essence of the three corpses, selecting and wielding primordial spiritual treasures, and even recognizing the right moment for their unification?”
Xuanqing gently guided the gods to think for themselves.
“Moreover, when you cultivate the Five Tai Great Luo to the realms of Tai Chu and Tai Shi, you will already be able to dye the gods with your Dao, reversing the essence of all things—then, observing the Three Corpses, perhaps they will no longer be mere incarnations of attachment, but vessels capable of carrying your own ‘Five Tai’ insights as ‘true forms of the Dao.’”
“They become powerful aids in your exploration of deeper Dao, rather than mere objects to be ‘unified.’”
Upon hearing this, many gods who had already severed their corpses or gained insight into the Five Tai Great Luo method glowed with renewed understanding—clearly, new pathways had opened before them.
“Thus, the method of severing the Three Corpses can serve as the foundation of the Five Tai Great Luo, polishing the Dao-heart and purifying the primordial spirit.”
“The Five Tai Great Luo, in turn, can elevate the method of severing the Three Corpses, expanding vision and deepening comprehension.”
“The two complement each other perfectly—there is no reason one cannot forge a broader, more stable path to enlightenment.”
“Yet the subtleties require each of you to carefully perceive and balance them in your future cultivation.”
Xuanqing’s explanation was like spring rain nourishing the earth—clearing the confusion of gods who had previously been puzzled by the relationship between the two methods.
As Xuanqing fell silent, the Purple Cloud Palace sank into brief stillness; the gods quietly reflected on the Emperor’s profound exposition, comparing it to their own studies, striving to clarify their thoughts.
Then, from the front row, Bai Long asked: “Your Majesty, the Five Tai Great Luo ultimately points toward the Eternal Pangu, requiring direct confrontation with Pangu’s trial.”
“But if one severs the Three Corpses, unites them, and attains Hunyuan Great Luo Immortal, must one also undergo a similar trial?”
Xuanqing nodded: “Both paths converge—the final trial is the same.”
“Moreover, all other Eight Paths to Dao in the Immortal Way require direct confrontation with Pangu to attain the Eternal Realm.”
“Even the Ten Demons of the Demon Path follow this rule.”
Emperor Jun stepped forward and asked: “Your Majesty, the Five Tai Great Luo emphasizes reversing one’s own Dao, while severing the Three Corpses requires primordial spiritual treasures.”
“Thus, it seems the Five Tai method is more universally applicable, better suited as a common path to enlighten all sentient beings.”
“If I were to promote the Dao and enlighten all beings in the future, could I use the Immortal Way’s path to Dao as a foundation, then cultivate the Five Tai Great Luo after becoming a Great Luo?”
Xuanqing looked at Emperor Jun, his eyes revealing a hint of approval: “Friend, you’ve begun contemplating the Emperor’s duty—excellent.”
“Using the Immortal Way as foundational education to open the path of Primordial Taiyi for all beings, then transmitting the Five Tai Dao, is entirely correct.”
Severing the Three Corpses indeed has many advantages, but its high cost is also undeniable.
After receiving affirmation, Emperor Jun did not grow arrogant but continued: “Moreover, I have an immature thought—please guide me, Your Majesty.”
“The method of severing corpses relies on primordial spiritual treasures because they possess primordial indestructible true spirits.”
“Could I, instead, use postnatal merit-based spiritual treasures to simulate indestructible true spirits through boundless merit, and employ them to sever corpses?”
Xuanqing gave a definitive answer: “Yes!”
“Merit from the Honghuang True Realm yields the best results; Great Luo universes come second, and so on.”
“Thank goodness, thank goodness!”
Many gods finally relaxed.
Many among them could not even gather three primordial spiritual treasures suited to their Dao, so they had planned to abandon the idea of cultivating both methods.
But now there was hope again!
Acquiring postnatal merit-based spiritual treasures is far easier.
【If all else fails, I’ll just accumulate virtue and become a benevolent immortal!】 Everyone thought of the Immortal Path—it aligned with their nature as primordial deities and seemed to perfectly suit their current needs.
Yes, from now on, we are immortals!
Seeing their reactions, Emperor Jun barely suppressed a laugh and withdrew quietly.
【Another batch of deities ready to be united—there they are!】
Next, Di Jiang bowed and asked: “Your Majesty, our Wu clan does not cultivate the primordial spirit—we only refine the body. Then, in the Five Tai Great Luo, the Taiyi realm’s ‘beginning of spirit’ involves the primordial spirit—can we not cultivate it?”
Xuanqing spoke with profound meaning: “The concept of ‘spirit’ is vast and profound—it does not refer solely to the primordial spirit.”
“Your Wu clan carries Pangu’s bloodline; your physical forms are immensely powerful, embodying part of Pangu’s true meaning of ‘force’ and ‘body’ from the act of separating heaven and earth.”
“This is itself an ultimate expression of divinity.”
“In the Five Tai Great Luo, body, essence, form, qi, and spirit are all intimately connected to your path.”
“Even severing the Three Corpses—if you interpret attachments as ‘impurities’ that corrupt bloodline purity and bodily fluency, and use your Wu clan’s secret methods to ‘sever’ them—could this not be a unique form of ‘severing corpses’?”
“The Dao has no fixed method; methods have no fixed form. Your Wu clan’s path holds limitless potential—why cling to ordinary primordial spirit methods?”
“So this is it—we can all cultivate the Five Tai Great Luo!” Di Jiang selectively ignored the method of severing the Three Corpses.
Our Wu clan is inherently flawed—we cannot cultivate the method of severing the Three Corpses.
No objections accepted!
Even the Emperor’s words won’t change that.
At this moment, the Western Heaven discussion group, after exchanging ideas, had Jieyin Dao Ren ask:
“We cultivate the Jin Xian path, seeking a true nature unharmed by countless calamities—neither increasing nor decreasing, indestructible and imperishable.”
“The Taiyi of the Five Tai Great Luo, which nurtures true spirit within stillness and annihilation, seems to align with our Jin Xian path.”
Jieyin looked at Xuanqing and finally asked: “May I ask, Your Majesty, could a Jin Xian use the power of a grand vow and the merit of universally saving sentient beings as a means to resist the loss in Taiyi and condense an ‘Eternal True Spirit’?”
His question was the collective result of the Western Heaven discussion group.
All ten-direction Buddhas and Western Heaven hermits fixed their attention on Xuanqing.
Xuanqing’s face showed approval: “Your thinking is indeed a sound approach.”
“If the power of a grand vow is carried through to its end, deeply penetrating the hearts of boundless sentient beings, it will form an unbreakable karmic bond and spiritual link within the ‘being’ world.”
“The collective thoughts and merit-light gathered by this bond can likewise become brilliant beacons, illuminating the path back.”
“Moreover, the Taiyi Great Luo, which nurtures ‘true spirit’ from emptiness, inherently involves dispelling all delusions and returning to the most primordial, purest ‘divinity.’”
“If one vows, ‘I shall universally save all sentient beings until the void itself shatters—my vow shall be endless,’ and uses this vow as a driving force to seek the ‘non-empty’ truth within Taiyi, this could be a uniquely distinctive and immensely potent path to Taiyi.”
Upon receiving this affirmative answer, members of the Western Heaven discussion group beamed with joy.
Qianti nodded repeatedly, smiling.
Clearly, he had participated in this proposal.
Hearing this, gods from other discussion groups also opened new avenues of thought.
“The Pangu Dao Marker method given by Your Majesty is undoubtedly the optimal solution.”
“But not all Great Lous can receive Pangu’s legacy—we must explore more universal, self-aligned breakthrough methods.”
“Anything that deeply imprints one’s ‘true self’ upon the ‘being’ world can serve as an anchor.”
“The Western Heaven group’s proposal is excellent—copied!”
Within the Purple Cloud Palace, the various discussion groups, research teams, and academies quickly entered an exchange mode.
The Ghost and Spirit Academy team.
Ming He, seeing Meng Wuyou sitting in quiet meditation, looking serene and at ease, asked curiously: “Wuyou, have you found a way to break through Taiyi?”
“Of course.”
Meng Wuyou nodded gently, her beautiful eyes slowly opening as she looked at Ming He and smiled: “Didn’t the Emperor already say it? Connect yourself to Pangu.”
“It’s simple for my Dream Dao to align with this.”
“For example—isn’t the entire Honghuang era just Pangu’s dream?”
“As long as Honghuang does not end, Pangu’s dream will not perish; if I attain Taiyi, I will surely return!”
Here, Meng Wuyou paused, then continued: “Even if Honghuang ends, it doesn’t matter.”
“When the eon renews, a new Pangu will arise to split heaven and earth, continuing another Honghuang dream.”
“If this eon does not return, the next eon will.”
Ming He laughed silently: “If Pangu dreams not, where is Honghuang?”
“As long as Honghuang endures, the great dream never ceases?”
He voiced Meng Wuyou’s own philosophy.
“Exactly!” Meng Wuyou nodded—this philosophy she would uphold forever.
“Then why are you all so calm?” Ming He turned to Wang Chuan, Guangchengzi, Chishenzi, Yuding, Yunzhongzi, and others.
They all looked confident and assured.
“This question is very simple.”
Guangchengzi chuckled and said: “Since the Three Pure Ones’ choice is the official answer, even if we cannot directly connect with the Primordial True One, we can still learn from our Master and our Master’s brothers!”
“Exactly!”
Chijizi chimed in from the side: “If we can’t attain the Primordial, we’ll attain Yuan Shi!”
“Once our Master achieves Eternity, won’t he become the ultimate beacon? Then we can just lie back and relax!”
This viewpoint deeply resonated with Wang Chuan: “I am a river. Even if I fall silent, as long as the Wang Chuan River remains, the Underworld remains, and the Lord remains, I can still win by doing nothing.”
“You’re being far too passive!” Minghe criticized.
Wang Chuan said: “Big brother, you could lie back too, couldn’t you?”
“As they say, as long as the Blood Sea endures, Minghe will never die. As long as the Blood Sea remains, you can always return. What’s there to fear?”
Minghe shook his head: “To attain the Dao this way is too passive. I don’t like it.”
He, the Lord of the Killing Dao, would just lie down like this? Would that be dignified?
To attain the Dao of Tai Yi, he must rely on killing!
As for what to kill, and how to kill—that requires careful consideration.
Dragon Clan’s Mei Tian Discussion Group.
After deliberation, they distilled two methods to attain Tai Yi.
One path was Zu Long’s Water Dao—life originates from water, and Pan Gu was water.
The other path synthesized the traits of demonic temptation and the Dragon Clan’s Desire Dao.
Gui Chengxiang said: “Use desire and allure as beacons. The key is to elevate ‘allure’ from merely stirring others’ sensual desires to becoming a ‘Dao Art’ that awakens the inner yearning of all beings and reveals the ultimate beauty of the Dao.”
“Before our Dragon Clan cultivators strike for Tai Yi, they must use their own Allure Dao to create countless ‘Allure Anchors’ within the ‘Existence’ world.”
“These ‘Allure Anchors’ are not about control or seduction.”
“Rather, they embody the cultivator’s profound understanding and ultimate expression of fundamental emotions—beauty, love, longing, and the passion of life—and thus trigger the deepest resonance and yearning within all sentient beings.”
Gui Chengxiang’s expression grew slightly feverish: “When our cultivators’ true selves sink into the void of Tai Yi, all emotion and perception fade into stillness.”
“These ‘Allure Anchors,’ scattered throughout the ‘Existence’ world, radiate like emotional stars in a dead universe, continuously calling out to ‘existence’ through their intense ‘emotional energy’ and ‘artistic truth.’”
“The cultivator, guided by these desires, rekindles within the void the perception and memory of beauty, love, and life.”
“Ultimately, they sculpt and reshape their true self within the void!”
Finally, Gui Chengxiang concluded: “Desire and allure are true art—the art that guides the Tai Yi Da Luo back!”
The Dragon Clan members nodded repeatedly, deeply agreeing.
Even the pure-love battle god Qinglong affirmed the plan: “One day, perhaps Big Brother can return from the void through this Dao Art!”
Other deities also devised wildly imaginative methods to preserve their ‘I’.
Yaochi thought: “As long as one of me or the Three Flowers remains in reality, it becomes the other’s beacon.”
Nine-Tailed Fox Xiao Xiao pondered: “The Teaching Dao might also serve as a beacon. And wouldn’t it make sense for Primordial Pan Gu to have nine tails?”
Kunpeng lowered his head in thought: “Writing is the vessel of civilization, and also of the Dao. Perhaps I can create a Dao-script capable of widespread dissemination.”
Houtu actively contacted fellow cultivators, opening with: “Friend, do you need a customized mythological script? Guaranteed satisfaction!”
【Tourist Immortal】Ginseng Fruit Tree mused: “Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind are the Four Fundamental Laws of the world. If Zhenyuanzi takes the Earth Book to inherit—no, to claim Pan Gu’s legacy—surely he won’t get lost?”
“Besides, the other great deity on this path, the Primordial Qilin, is already gone. It’s perfectly reasonable for Zhenyuanzi to inherit most of the Earth Yuan Dao!”
“When he soars, I’ll just win by doing nothing.”
Meanwhile, Zhenyuanzi himself thought: “If I steadfastly embody countless trees and plants, isn’t that another way to leave a beacon?”
“Especially the Ginseng Fruit Tree—I must leave a Ginseng Fruit Tree avatar in reality when my true self enters Tai Yi.”
“I also need to ensure rapid mass production, so more deities can eat them and remember ‘me.’”
The Little Moon Goddess Changxi whispered to Wangshu: 【Sister, do you have any good ideas?】
【I think the Nurturing Dao is an excellent choice. If you nurture one Tai Yi Da Luo, they become your anchor for return!】 Wangshu replied.
The Little Moon Goddess blinked: 【Nurture? How do you nurture a Tai Yi Da Luo?】
Wangshu replied nonchalantly: 【Sure, I nurtured a Heavenly Emperor—he should be a Tai Yi Da Luo by now, right?】
Changxi was stunned. She widened her luminous eyes, glanced furtively at the Heavenly Emperor on the dais, then looked back at Wangshu.
【Sister, what did you do?】
【I didn’t do anything.】
Wangshu said: 【After I stepped down, the Heavenly Emperor succeeded me.】
【Back then, he hadn’t fully attained the Dao—he was merely a Taiyi-level cultivator.】
【But whenever he issued an edict, I fulfilled it according to his will; whenever he enacted a policy, I actively cooperated.】
【I deeply participated in every policy he implemented in the Honghuang.】
【Under my assistance, he gradually grew—from Taiyi to Taiji Da Luo, then broke through the Second, Third, and Fourth Realms. He may even have surpassed the Fifth Realm now!】
【I never missed a step in his growth. Now he governs all directions, his virtue perfected; I aided him in ruling the Honghuang, and we complemented each other perfectly.】
【In a sense, a minister nurturing a perfect sovereign—isn’t that also nurturing?】
Finally, Wangshu’s lips curled into a smile: 【Honestly, nurturing my first Holy Heavenly Emperor felt quite satisfying.】
After hearing this, the Little Moon Goddess was truly awed.
She murmured: “So… the Nurturing Dao can be played like this?”
“Why not?” Wangshu then showed Changxi her achievement—【Nurturing Dao Fruit】!
【To be honest, if I activate the 【Nurturing Dao Fruit】, its power may even surpass the 【Lunar Dao Fruit】.】
Now Changxi had nothing left to say.
“Sister, you absolutely mustn’t let the Heavenly Emperor find out,” Changxi warned.
The thought of the Heavenly Emperor being unknowingly “nurtured” by his sister, and thereby condensing a complete Dao Fruit, made Changxi almost laugh.
“It’s fine—he already knows,” Wangshu said, glancing casually at the dais.
The Heavenly Emperor cast a faint glance in their direction.
Once the Dao Fruit appeared, he must have sensed it.
“Wangshu, you really know how to stir things up!” Xiang Xuanqing, sensing the 【Nurturing Dao Fruit】 through karmic threads, couldn’t help but laugh and sigh.
Back when Wangshu shared at the Taiwei Yuan Assembly, she distributed the “Manual for Raising a Good Girl.”
Xiang Xuanqing assumed she’d at most use her own sister as a test subject and create a Dao Fruit.
He never imagined Wangshu’s Nurturing Dao could be applied to himself!
As everyone exchanged insights and pooled ideas, one after another method to avoid sinking into oblivion and break through Tai Yi took shape.
Some were cautious, others novel.
Some were serious, others absurd.
Of course, some, like Wangshu, innovated directly by targeting Xiang Xuanqing!
For instance, the Qilin Clan devised a method—erecting a tablet for the Heavenly Emperor.
“Our Qilin Clan excels at manipulating fate. If we enshrine the Heavenly Emperor’s tablet alongside our Primordial Ancestor’s, might a karmic link form between them on the level of fate?”
“One day, might our Primordial Ancestor use this link to return directly?”
Of course, the Five Elemental Qilins dared not voice such a scheme publicly.
They could only tinker with it in secret.
Meanwhile, other schemes that were legitimate and universally valuable were publicly presented by the deans of each academy.
First, for everyone’s reference; second, to seek the Heavenly Emperor’s correction.
After all, the Purple Cloud Palace Assembly was also an academic exchange of the Heavenly Dao Academy.
Academic achievements must be shared to learn from each other, complement strengths, and grow together!
Xiang Xuanqing listened to all ideas and offered relevant guidance.
When it came to Minghe, he asked solemnly: “Your Majesty, I have a friend—the Lord of the Killing Dao.”
“He asked me to inquire: the void of Tai Yi is the ultimate stillness of all things, and shares similarities with the Killing Dao.”
“If one strikes for Tai Yi through the Killing Dao, beyond merely embracing death to be reborn, is there a more active, decisive path to return?”
Xiang Xuanqing smiled: “Of course there is!”
“The ultimate Killing Dao is not about indiscriminate slaughter, but ‘slaying all illusions to see the true eternal.’”
“The Killing Dao can kill not only living beings, but also all inner ‘non-I,’ ‘false-I,’ and the ‘Dao Obstacles’ that block the manifestation of the ‘true-I.’”
“Before striking for Tai Yi, a Killing Dao cultivator must consciously use their own Killing Dao to observe themselves, treating all acquired habits, demonic attachments, and even their own biased understanding of ‘killing’ as ‘enemy calamities.’”
“Then, one by one, slay and refine them until the Dao heart becomes as pure as a mirror, leaving only a single, pure will to kill for truth.”
“When entering the Tai Yi realm, the void itself becomes the final, and greatest, ‘enemy calamity.’”
“It seeks to annihilate the cultivator’s ‘existence.’”
“At this moment, the Killing Dao cultivator must use that pure will to kill for truth as a guide, viewing the Tai Yi void as the ultimate barrier to be ‘shattered.’”
“Their return is not passive waiting or searching for a beacon—it is achieved by the supreme will of ‘slay all calamities, and I alone shall endure,’ forcibly carving a path back through the ‘void.’”
“To carve a foothold for the ‘true-I.’”
Xiang Xuanqing looked at Minghe and said slowly: “Every denial of the ‘void’ is an affirmation of the ‘true-I’s’ existence.”
“When the Killing Dao cultivator, with unyielding killing intent, shatters the illusory void of Tai Yi and slays the last lingering fear and acceptance of ‘stillness’ within their heart,”
“Then, rising from the ruins of slain calamities, stands their immortal Killing God—their ‘Eternal True Self.’”
After hearing this, Minghe’s eyes lit up.
“Slay all that is not-I, seek the true-I—this is the immortal Killing God!”
He quickly summarized the core of this plan, and the more he thought about it, the happier he became.
【This plan suits me perfectly!】
【Only Xuanqing truly understands me!】
Minghe felt a flood of emotions, so much so that he forgot to thank the Tian Di on behalf of his “friend.”
Afterwards, Nv Wa also shared her latest insights.
She said: “Creation is a powerful weapon against nothingness.”
“If one uses the Dao of Creation to forge a stable, eternal great world, and infuses it with one’s own Dao principles, making it an ‘external manifestation’ of one’s Dao, it might also serve as a Dao beacon.”
“The key to this method lies in ensuring this world is sufficiently ‘solid’ and ‘unique,’ capable of acting like a lighthouse in the boundless void of Tai Yi, guiding the true self back.”
“I believe such a world can only be the Hong Huang world.”
“Truly words of wisdom!” After listening to Nv Wa’s explanation, Xuanqing clapped and smiled.
“Emulating Pangu, opening heaven and earth, and recreating another Hong Huang world within infinite time and space is indeed an excellent low-cost way to strengthen one’s connection with the Great Pangu.”
As soon as he spoke, the Zi Xiao Palace erupted in murmurs.
All the gods wore expressions of shock, as if they had heard something inconceivable.
After a long silence, one deity could no longer hold back and asked: “Your Majesty, are you saying we may open another Hong Huang?”
Xuanqing nodded slightly: “Precisely.”
“Opening heaven and earth, evolving a Hong Huang, and becoming a creator like the Great Pangu is an excellent low-cost method to align one’s Dao with the Great Pangu’s.”
Upon hearing the words “low-cost,” the gods froze for a moment, then fell into deep thought, their eyes gradually glowing with unusual light.
As they reflected, they realized—if true—this truly would be “low-cost.”
Because even Tai Yi-level cultivators can traverse the tributaries of the time-stream and forge their own timelines.
Creating slightly different versions of the Hong Huang world would be effortless.
In fact, among the divine beings seated in the Zi Xiao Palace, there must be many with sharp minds and extraordinary initiative.
Perhaps long before countless Yuan Hui had passed, they had already, out of curiosity, experimentation, or some hidden scheme, quietly carried out similar “creation” acts.
But previously, their actions were always covert.
They feared detection by other great beings of the Hong Huang Zhen Jie, worried about attracting unwanted karmic entanglements and trouble.
Now, judging by the Tian Di’s tone, this once-shadowy “reckless act” might be openly permitted?
Instantly, the atmosphere inside the Zi Xiao Palace grew subtle.
Countless burning gazes turned sharply toward the Tian Di.
These gazes brimmed with curiosity, excitement, and eagerness to act.
And a long-suppressed “reckless ambition” burned fiercely within them!
“Your Majesty, can we truly, for the sake of the Dao, travel through the Zhu Tian Wan Jie and infinite time and space to replicate, evolve, and create countless versions of the Hong Huang world?” the gods asked solemnly.
Xuanqing smiled: “If truly done for the Dao, then of course you may.”
“We cultivators contend with heaven, with earth, with others, and with ourselves.”
Xuanqing’s gaze swept over the gods, his tone growing fervent: “As long as your original intent remains unchanged, your actions do not violate the source of your own Dao, and do not bring suffering to sentient beings or summon torrents of resentment…”
“Then what is there to forbid?!”
“Nothing is forbidden!!”
These four words, imbued with infinite magic, instantly ignited within every great being present the bold, heroic spirit to challenge and explore everything!
Previously, they may have hesitated, fearing whether this act would violate heavenly laws, invite heavenly retribution, or disrupt the order of the Hong Huang Zhen Jie.
But now, the Tian Di himself had declared “nothing is forbidden”—an unmistakable grant of authority and encouragement!
“Wonderful! Your Majesty is wise!”
“We understand! For the Dao, we shall advance bravely, fearless of all!”
“Opening a new Hong Huang, evolving our own Dao—this is the supreme method to attain Tai Yi!”
Inside the Zi Xiao Palace, cheers, praises, and unrestrained excited murmurs rose in waves, forming an unprecedented surge of fervor.
At this moment, every great being’s eyes gleamed as their minds raced, wildly imagining the form their future “new Hong Huang” would take.
Xuanqing looked down at the fervent gods, his smile unwavering, yet his mind held its own calculations.
His proposal of the “opening a new Hong Huang” method was not impulsive—it was the result of deep deliberation.
This method provides the gods with a practical path to Tai Yi, allowing them to experience the grand power of Pangu’s opening of heaven and earth through practice, integrating their Dao into the act of creation, thus securing firmer anchors for their return during Tai Yi.
Simultaneously, these countless “new Hong Huang” worlds, forged by Hong Huang great beings according to their own understanding, will themselves become experimental grounds and incubators for the expansion and deeper evolution of Hong Huang Zhen Jie’s civilization and Dao principles.
The successes and failures of these “new Hong Huang,” their civilizational evolution and Dao collisions, will transform into invaluable experience and data, feeding back into the Hong Huang Zhen Jie and promoting its continuous upgrading and refinement.
Deeper still, this quietly sows countless seeds of hope for the future era of “human Dao’s flourishing,” and even more distant epochal transitions.
Every successful “new Hong Huang” may give birth to entirely new powerful beings and unique civilizational forms, adding a new hue to the entire Chaos Sea.
Of course, Xuanqing knew this act, though “nothing is forbidden,” was not without risk.
Opening heaven and earth inherently carries immense karmic consequences and peril; if mishandled, a new world’s collapse could unleash devastating backlash.
Moreover, with countless “Hong Huang” coexisting in infinite time and space, will they intersect? Will they spark conflict? These are problems yet to be faced and resolved.
But for seekers of the Dao, risk and opportunity often coexist.
Xuanqing trusted that these great beings atop the Hong Huang would possess the wisdom and responsibility to maintain balance.
He spoke again, his voice calming the excitement slightly, yet deepening the gravity:
“My lords, while opening a new Hong Huang is a path to enlightenment, remember: every world has its sentient beings, and every world has its right to free evolution.”
“As creators, you must hold reverence, guiding with your Dao—not forcibly twisting their natural development.”
“If the world you create prospers, giving rise to unique civilizations and powerful beings, its merit will return to you, aiding your Dao’s advancement.”
“But if, for selfish gain, you cause the world’s ruin and the suffering of its beings, the karmic burden will cling to you, obstructing your path.”
“Weigh these gains and losses carefully, my lords—be cautious, and strive!”
Xuanqing’s words were like a cool spring, cooling the overheated minds of gods swept up in excitement.
They bowed deeply in response: “We humbly heed Your Majesty’s teachings—we shall act with utmost caution, placing the Dao first, and never betray our duty as creators!”
Among the gods, two deities felt both joy and worry.
One was Nv Wa.
The Tian Di’s “nothing is forbidden” decree would inevitably cause chaos across countless timelines, even entangling karmic threads.
As Director of the Time-Space Administration, her workload would skyrocket!
【Your Majesty, you’re spending other people’s money!】 Nv Wa shot Xuanqing a resentful glance.
But there was no help for it—this plan had been her own proposal.
She had assumed the Tian Di would lift restrictions only for Luo Jinxian, never imagining he would declare “nothing is forbidden.”
Now she would have to oversee not just the Luo Universe, but the multiverse, the Da Qian Huan Yu, even the Da Qian Shi Jie and Xiao Qian Shi Jie!
Nv Wa was overwhelmed.
【It’s time to find a replacement for the Director of the Time-Space Administration!】
The other deity with a headache was Di Jun.
He was about to assume office and wished for no uncertainties.
But this “nothing is forbidden” decree was clearly a massive trap.
He could not refuse.
Because it truly benefited the gods and the Hong Huang.
Of course, besides these two, one deity was overjoyed.
That deity was Hou Tu!
“If I can go to infinite time and space and open different versions of the Hong Huang world, then I can finally sell my stash of forbidden novels!”
The Novel Immortal beamed.
In her idle moments, she had written many novels about the Hong Huang.
But because they involved too much karmic entanglement, she couldn’t bring herself to destroy her works, so she had sealed them away.
Over time, they piled up.
“Now that nothing is forbidden, I finally have a channel to sell them—not to dispose of contraband, but to make full use of them!”
Hou Tu sincerely praised: “The Tian Di’s virtue shines brightly, shines brightly indeed!”
