Chapter 396: The Final Calamity Dao Fruit, the Heavenly Emperor Abdicates, Ji Jun Ascends the Throne
After the Heavenly Emperor elaborated on the Five Primordials, how to transcend Taiyi, and issued the Decree of Unrestricted Freedom.
For a hundred years, the gods, under the guidance of the thirty-three Heavenly Dao Committee members, the leaders of major discussion groups, and the collective efforts of the heads of all academies, thoroughly discussed, analyzed, and contemplated the key to reversing the Five Primordials.
Over the next full century, countless profound Daoist concepts collided, merged, and ascended among them.
At once, within the Purple Cloud Palace, the mysterious sounds of the Great Dao rose and fell in succession.
Countless divine lights shimmered in the auspicious clouds above the gods’ heads, and unique insights into the key to reversing the Five Primordials circulated among the deities.
Among the gods, there were no sectarian biases—only a shared aspiration for the Great Dao and an unwavering pursuit of truth.
Each deity contributed their thoughts and achievements without reservation.
Simultaneously, they continuously absorbed the insights and wisdom of others.
The entire Purple Cloud Palace overflowed with a joyful atmosphere.
Everyone was immersed in this “academic exchange,” enjoying each other’s company.
Xiang Xuanqing sat upon the high dais.
He saw the gods’ faces brighten with new realizations, witnessed dazzling sparks as different Daoist philosophies clashed, and observed many long-standing bottlenecks quietly shattered by collective wisdom.
He nodded gently and thought silently within: “Such grandeur, such an atmosphere—this is the true spirit of my Hong Huang Zhen Jie.”
I hope that after I step down, the next—and every future—Purple Cloud Assembly will proceed as smoothly and harmoniously as today.
Below, Kun Peng glanced at the dais and instantly read Xiang Xuanqing’s thoughts.
His heart stirred; without a word, he turned to Ji Jun and said, “Sun Dao Friend, you must strive!”
“Strive! Strive!” Ji Jun, engrossed in discussing the cultivation Dao with the Little Moon Goddess, replied absently.
On the other side of the front row, after a vigorous and productive round of discussion, Tai Shang casually set up a barrier and turned to Yu Chen.
“Third brother, I’ve heard all the Dao friends share their insights.”
“How do you plan to traverse Taiyi?”
“My path is simple,” said Yu Chen Dao Jun, his body subtly radiating an incomparably sharp sword intent, yet also enveloped in an aura of finality and extinction.
He replied calmly: “If I wish to attain Taiyi as the Lord of the Final Catastrophe, the most stable and most aligned path is to patiently await the next great epochal calamity, sweeping across all of Hong Huang and the myriad worlds.”
“At that time, as the Calamity Lord, whether alive or dead, I shall return when the epoch renews.”
“Why go through such trouble?”
Xiang Xuanqing joined the group chat and smiled at Yu Chen Dao Jun: “Third brother, your thinking still needs to broaden—don’t let the fixed nature of your Dao Fruit bind you!”
“Oh? What high insight does Elder Brother have?” Yu Chen Dao Jun’s eyes flickered with curiosity; he immediately humbly asked for guidance.
Tai Shang also turned his interested gaze toward Xiang Xuanqing.
Xiang Xuanqing smiled slightly: “The Lord of the Final Catastrophe wields the power of termination—who says you must wait helplessly for some distant future calamity?”
“You can return to the past!”
“Return to the past?” Yu Chen Dao Jun paused in surprise.
“Precisely!”
Xiang Xuanqing affirmed: “The epoch-ending calamity within Hong Huang Zhen Jie is indeed a calamity—but what of the ‘End of the Chaos Epoch’ before Chaos first opened? Is that not a calamity too?”
“Take your World-Ending Mill, reverse the flow of the Time River, journey to the Chaos Era, assume the position of the Destruction Demon God, then join the Primordial Creation War and let Pan Gu send you on your way.”
“Then, as Heaven and Earth split and two epochs alternate, return with your identity as Pan Gu’s Primordial Spirit—directly granted Taiyi.”
“This… this actually works?!” Yu Chen Dao Jun widened his eyes in shock.
Isn’t this exploiting a glitch?
“This might actually work!” After initial shock, Tai Shang’s eyes blazed with brilliance.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt Xiang Xuanqing’s idea was a stroke of genius; he couldn’t help but exclaim:
“Third brother, with this, you ascend to the Chaos Era, become the Chaos Demon God, and join the Primordial Creation War.”
“And downward, you await the future great calamity, mastering the rise and fall of epochs.”
“One Dao Fruit, attained twice!”
“Next epoch—keep playing!”
“Good, good, good—this is a great plan!”
Tai Shang grew more excited, as if he already saw Yu Chen Dao Jun stepping across two epochs, leaping back and forth, thoroughly enjoying himself.
Had he not been in the solemn Purple Cloud Palace with countless sacred beings present, Tai Shang might have burst into laughter and clapped his hands.
Only Xiang Xuanqing knows how to pull off such stunts!
Even attaining Taiyi can be turned into a spectacle.
Yu Chen Dao Jun pondered carefully—this method was indeed exploiting a glitch, but its feasibility was extremely high!
Consider: what are the conditions for transcending Taiyi?
It is transforming from Tai Chu Qi into nothingness, then allowing nothingness to give birth to spirit, shattering the boundary between existence and nonexistence, and returning to reality.
Thus, Yu Chen Dao Jun, bearing the Final Catastrophe Dao Fruit, journeys to the Chaos Era, is shattered into nothingness by Pan Gu’s axe, then returns to the next epoch as Pan Gu’s Primordial Spirit.
Doesn’t this entire process perfectly enact the complete cycle and ascent from “existence” to “nonexistence,” then back to “existence”?
Moreover, the only—and greatest—risk in this method of transcending Taiyi seems to lie solely with Pan Gu himself.
After all, enduring a pass under the Primordial Creation Axe while ensuring one returns as “Pan Gu’s Primordial Spirit” carries considerable uncertainty.
But for Yu Chen Dao Jun, is this truly a risk?
Primordial Creation—the supreme feat of Father God Pan Gu!
To be “corrected” by Father God’s axe—could that be called a risk?
That is “loving discipline,” that is “Dao baptism!”
Besides, this isn’t even the first time he’s been “cared for” by Father God!
Other gods, even if they conceived this plan, couldn’t even obtain such attention.
First, their Dao Fruit differs; second, Pan Gu doesn’t recognize them.
Thus, at the critical moment of Primordial Creation, Pan Gu “sending off” his beloved son to complete a “Dao Ascension” seems entirely reasonable and perfectly appropriate.
Thinking this through, Yu Chen Dao Jun’s furrowed brow gradually relaxed; a faint smile of relief and anticipation finally appeared on his face.
He solemnly nodded to Xiang Xuanqing and said firmly: “Alright, let’s do it!”
“Thank you, Elder Brother, for the reminder!”
“Family doesn’t need formalities,” Xiang Xuanqing laughed.
“Wait a minute!”
Tai Shang suddenly realized something and turned to Xiang Xuanqing: “According to our plan, Yu Chen can be the Lord of the Final Catastrophe, and you can be the Primordial Creator.”
“If you return to the Primordial Creation era, transform into Pan Gu, perform the act of splitting Heaven and Earth, then merge with Pan Gu’s Dao and return as his Primordial Spirit—wouldn’t that also allow you to transcend Taiyi?”
Xiang Xuanqing raised an eyebrow and smiled: “Finally figured it out?”
This was his own path to transcending Taiyi!
Without origin, without supreme, uniquely capable of being the origin of all things—thus, Yuan Shi!
How could Yuan Shi Tian Zun transcend Taiyi without playing a round of Primordial Creation?
After receiving confirmation of his idea, Tai Shang glanced between Xiang Xuanqing (Yuan Shi) and Yu Chen and laughed: “You two are perfectly aligned—one before, one after.”
Yu Chen Dao Jun asked: “And what about you? How do you plan to transcend Taiyi?”
Tai Shang paused, then said: “If we follow our original plan, I shall attain the title of ‘Ruler of the World’ through Dao and Virtue, using the method of non-action to harmonize Yin and Yang, organize the myriad Dao, and ensure the eternal peace of the Hong Huang universe.”
“Thus, for me, the best path to transcendence is to assume the position of Heavenly Emperor.”
“With the prosperity of all Hong Huang as sustenance, I shall govern diligently; when my merit is complete, I may merge with Dao, transform into Dao, or reincarnate through calamity—ultimately attaining Taiyi.”
“But my term hasn’t ended yet.”
Tai Shang shifted tone: “So I intend to govern through the Human Sect, teach and transform all beings, participate in the flourishing of Human Dao, and finally transcend Taiyi.”
“But now, after what Xiang Xuanqing said, I think perhaps my role as Ruler of the World could also find opportunity in the Chaos Era.”
“Yet the Chaos Era is too complex; to achieve any ‘governance’ feat in such an environment would be vastly more difficult than even Primordial Creation itself.”
Xiang Xuanqing listened and laughed: “No problem—if we both become Taiyi, we’ll pull you along.”
Yu Chen Dao Jun, rarely joking, teased: “Exactly! When the time comes, if you need it, Xiang Xuanqing and I can personally ‘send you on your way,’ letting you experience the dual ‘care’ of the Four Swords of Annihilation and the Primordial Creation Axe!”
Upon hearing this, Tai Shang’s face darkened instantly.
Wonderful.
Originally, the three brothers were advancing side by side, jointly exploring the peak of Dao.
How did it suddenly turn out that he was falling behind?
【No! Absolutely not!】 Tai Shang’s heart instantly surged with a fierce determination not to be left behind.
【I, the Supreme Daoist of Taiqing, cannot be outdone in the Chaos Era?】
【I must walk this path myself!】
Tai Shang’s gaze was resolute.
As the Three Pure Ones each planned their own paths to Taiyi,
On another front, Fu Xi and Nv Wa, having concluded their exchanges on cultivation with the gods, quietly contacted them.
【Three Dao Friends, after this Purple Cloud Assembly ends and the Heavenly Emperor steps down, once the Tai Wei Yuan completes its transition, we will depart for the Pre-Primordial.】
【Already?】 The Three Pure Ones’ eyes lit up.
Another Chaos-Correcting Assembly!
Just thinking about it was exciting!
Fu Xi said: 【This timing is ideal.】
【Now that the gods have studied the Dao of Immortality and the Heavenly Emperor’s cultivation methods, it’s foreseeable that in the coming period, the number of Da Luo Supreme Beings in Hong Huang Zhen Jie will surge dramatically!】
The splendor of the Chaos Era was unprecedented.
When the time comes, we’ll blend in and find it easier to pass through, less likely to draw the attention of Pan Gu the Great God.
Less likely to be targeted?
“Less likely to be targeted?”
Upon hearing this, the Three Pure Ones exchanged glances, their lips each unconsciously curling into a knowing smile.
“Our fellow cultivator has thought this through thoroughly—then it’s settled!”
Fu Xi and Nv Wa replied with smiles: “Excellent!”
“Eh, I’ve done it! I’ve finally succeeded!”
“Hahaha! I’ve reversed the Taiji, uncovered the secrets of Tai Su—I—I’ve broken through! I’ve become a Tai Su Great Luo!!!”
At that moment, an excited voice echoed throughout the Purple Cloud Palace.
A deity who had previously been only at the First Stage of Great Luo Golden Immortal now saw his divine radiance surge violently, his crown cloud churning fiercely.
A purer, denser aura of the Dao surged skyward.
“I’ve succeeded too! My bottleneck has finally shattered—I’ve reached the Tai Su Realm!”
“And me! And me! The Dao is wondrous, the Heavenly Emperor’s method is true—never did it deceive me!”
“I—I also...”
As if inspired by the first breakthrough.
Immediately, cheers and the resonant harmonies of Dao breakthroughs rose and fell like waves in the Purple Cloud Palace, one crest higher than the next, unceasingly.
Some who had only just entered Great Luo or whose accumulation was slightly lacking also gained tremendous advancement under the thick atmosphere of Dao enlightenment and collective wisdom, their Dao cultivation skyrocketing!
Without exaggeration, this Purple Cloud Palace Assembly lifted the entire top-tier combat strength of the Hong Huang cosmic system by a massive step.
“Excellent!!”
Xiang Xuanqing gazed down at the scene below, where divine light shimmered brilliantly and auspicious qi rose in torrents from the Dao breakthroughs, and a sincere smile spread across his face as he cried out in praise.
He knew his Dao lecture had reached perfect completion.
A new era was about to begin.
Xiang Xuanqing slowly rose, his gaze sweeping over every deity whose expression was energized and aura heightened.
Finally, in a calm and solemn voice, he solemnly declared:
“Today’s Purple Cloud Palace Assembly, all fellow cultivators have gained insight—the Dao flourishes, and this is immensely good!”
“I hereby declare this Purple Cloud Palace Dao Lecture Assembly concluded—perfectly complete!!”
Though the Second Purple Cloud Palace Assembly had ended, its far-reaching influence continued to ripple outward, far from fading. As the deities returned home, they refined the Assembly’s results and gradually disseminated them more widely through the Heavenly Dao Academy and their own Dao halls.
Instantly, an unprecedented wave of learning swept through the Heavenly Dao Academy.
Countless students devoured these Dao insights from the deities with ravenous hunger.
And as the Heavenly Dao Academy’s disciples traveled abroad, these results slowly reached all living beings.
Whether novice cultivators just glimpsing the Dao or ordinary mortals struggling in the mortal world, yearning for the Dao, all received unprecedented enlightenment and opportunity in this tide.
This was a grand Dao feast, descending from above and participated in by both deities and all living beings.
It was also the most abundant legacy left by the current Heavenly Emperor during his tenure.
Exactly three thousand years after the harmonious conclusion of the Purple Cloud Palace Assembly.
On this day, the entire Hong Huang Zhen Jie, and all Zhu Tian Wan Jie scattered across infinite spacetime, simultaneously felt an unprecedented, solemn, and majestic Dao fluctuation.
A decree, imbued with the supreme authority of the Heavenly Emperor and the will of the Dao, issued from the Tai Wei Heavenly Court, suspended high above the Nine Heavens and governing all directions.
This decree was not carried by any physical object, but manifested as golden, sacred glyphs forged from the purest Dao laws and merit-gold light.
Instantly spanning infinite distances of spacetime, it appeared simultaneously above the heavens of every Da Qian Shi Jie, every Zhong Qian Shi Jie, and even every Xiao Qian Shi Jie.
The decree’s message was concise yet earth-shattering:
“The Dao turns; my term has ended. I shall abdicate and pass the throne to Jin Yao, the Supreme Sun Sovereign. All deities of the Three Realms and sovereigns of the myriad worlds may come to the Tai Wei Heavenly Court to witness the ceremony!”
“This day has come at last.”
All deities of heaven and earth sighed.
Though the Heavenly Emperor had forewarned of this event ten thousand years ago.
Yet when this day truly arrived, the deep-seated reluctance, confusion, and faint anxiety for the future still inevitably spread through countless divine hearts.
And this decree stirred a colossal storm in the hearts of the boundless living beings.
They wept aloud, praying to heaven, praying to the deities, begging to retain the Heavenly Emperor.
The thoughts of the boundless living beings crossed infinite spacetime, converging upon the supreme Heavenly Court.
Xiang Xuanqing saw this, stood motionless for a long while, silent.
The deities saw this, filled with boundless emotion, only able to sigh.
“Let’s go—witness the end of this era.”
Great Luo Sovereigns who governed Dao domains and shook the cosmos rode upon auspicious clouds woven from Dao glyphs, followed by legions of powerful disciples.
Tai Yi Dao Lords who ruled over billions of clans, their fortune and destiny enhanced, rode primordial mythical beasts of varied forms and terrifying might, whose roars could shake the stars.
Countless cultivators, moved by the summons and filled with reverence, traveled either in groups or alone, all hastening with the most devout hearts toward this sacred ceremony that would determine the future of the entire Hong Huang.
Brilliant beams of divine light, like dazzling meteor showers hanging from the heavens, rose from every corner of the myriad worlds, piercing through empty space, converging toward the supreme Tai Wei Heavenly Court.
Tai Wei Heavenly Court.
Countless heavenly soldiers and generals, clad in golden armor and wielding divine halberds, lined the inner and outer gates of the Nantian Sect, their formation so imposing it deterred any malevolent heart.
The Four Heavenly Kings, guardian deities, and all principal gods had taken their positions, guiding the deities arriving from all directions into the Heavenly Court in orderly fashion.
Soon, the Heavenly Emperor’s Palace was filled with divine presence, every seat occupied.
Above the palace’s dome, the Zhou Tian stars manifested spontaneously, pouring down soft yet brilliant starlight.
Beneath their feet, merit-born golden lotuses bloomed, primordial spiritual energy coiled into misty purple vapor, filling the deities with serenity and clarity of Dao heart.
Nv Wa, the Three Pure Ones, Jie Yin, Zhun Ti, Hong Yun, Zhen Yuan Zi, and the other thirty-three members of the Heavenly Dao Committee, along with other high-ranking celestial officials, stood in orderly rows on either side of the imperial throne, according to rank and precedence.
Their expressions were solemn, their gazes complex.
They felt profound reluctance at Xiang Xuanqing’s impending departure, yet also solemn anticipation for the new Heavenly Emperor’s ascension.
As the other main figure of today’s ceremony—the future new Heavenly Emperor, Jin Yao, the Supreme Sun Sovereign—stood silently before the white jade steps beneath the throne, clad in a golden imperial robe symbolizing his exalted status as Sun Deity.
His face was calm, his gaze resolute, radiating the true steadiness and majesty of an emperor; the aura of sovereignty over heaven and earth, governing all directions, was already palpable.
Bai Ze, serving as Yin Yang Divine Official, announced loudly:
“The Heavenly Emperor has arrived!”
As the auspicious hour arrived, the faint murmurs within the Heavenly Emperor’s Palace gradually faded; all deities’ gazes unconsciously converged upon the supreme imperial throne.
There, upon the previously empty throne, a figure quietly materialized.
Xiang Xuanqing, shrouded in faint mist, rendered his true face indistinct.
Yet the supreme authority of the Heavenly Emperor’s position, and the unfathomable Dao aura, compelled every deity present—including the most elite Great Luo Sovereigns—to feel reverence and bow involuntarily.
“We pay homage to the Heavenly Emperor!”
A roar of worship echoed endlessly through the Heavenly Emperor’s Palace.
Xiang Xuanqing slowly raised his hand; a gentle yet irresistible force lifted every deity to their feet. His calm, gentle voice clearly reached every living being’s ears:
“Fellow cultivators, no need for such formalities.”
Once the palace fell silent again,
Xiang Xuanqing’s gaze slowly swept over every deity below, their expressions complex. His voice carried an unprecedented sense of nostalgia and warmth.
“Since I ascended the Heavenly Emperor’s throne, countless years have passed—fleeting as yesterday.”
“I still recall, at the dawn of my reign, Hong Huang had just endured great calamity, yet even in ruin, it teemed with vitality and hope.”
“Thanks to the united efforts of all you fellow cultivators, we established the Tai Wei Heavenly Court, stabilized the order of the Three Realms; we promoted the Heavenly Dao Academy, ushering in a golden age of universal cultivation; we reconciled disputes among myriad clans, jointly fostering Hong Huang’s prosperity.”
“Today’s peace in Hong Huang, the harmony of all living beings—this is not my achievement alone, but the collective result of all of you here, and every silent, law-abiding being across the boundless worlds.”
“Yet the Dao cycles—there is beginning and end; the universe is born and perishes, according to fixed law.”
“My term has ended; my merit is complete. It is time to abdicate and pass the throne.”
Xiang Xuanqing’s words were plain and sincere, without embellishment or exaggeration—yet each sentence struck straight to the deities’ hearts, instantly stirring the long-suppressed reluctance within them.
“Your Majesty!” Though the outcome was certain, some deities could not suppress their emotion, crying out in trembling voices.
“Your Majesty!”
Instantly, every deity in the palace bowed, their voices rising and falling in unison.
The deities’ emotion was even more fervent and genuine than when Xiang Xuanqing first announced his abdication ten thousand years ago.
Since the Heavenly Emperor’s ascension, over one hundred thousand years, Hong Huang’s prosperity and peace had been palpable to every deity and living being.
Their reverence and devotion to this Holy Heavenly Emperor had long become purest faith.
Xiang Xuanqing sat upon the throne, quietly waiting for the deities’ emotions to settle slightly, before speaking again.
“I deeply appreciate your heartfelt devotion. Yet the Heavenly Emperor’s throne is not private property—it is a public instrument of the Three Realms. Its succession and rotation are natural law.”
“It is also to ensure Hong Huang remains vibrant and innovative, avoiding stagnation and ossification caused by one ruler holding power too long.”
“This is the fundamental system we, the Heavenly Dao Committee, have carefully deliberated upon—for the eternal benefit of Hong Huang. It cannot be abandoned due to personal reluctance.”
Under the gaze of all, Xiang Xuanqing slowly rose. His mist-shrouded figure descended step by step from the white jade steps.
At the same time, Bai Ze stepped forward.
He held a jade tray, upon which rested the “Heavenly Emperor Seal,” symbolizing supreme authority.
Xiang Xuanqing took the Heavenly Emperor Seal and walked to Jin Yao, who stood silently awaiting.
“Supreme Sun Sovereign!” Xiang Xuanqing’s voice grew profoundly solemn and majestic; his eyes, as if piercing through time, fixed intently upon this new Heavenly Emperor.
"Today, I formally entrust you with the Throne of Heaven, and with the future of the Hong Huang San Jie and the boundless Zhu Tian!"
"May you, after ascending the throne, govern diligently and love your people, hold all living beings in your heart, rule with impartiality, and win hearts through virtue!"
"May you practice frugality, open channels of speech, be receptive to counsel, and live up to the expectations of your ministers!"
"May you balance all factions, harmonize yin and yang, uphold the fairness of the Dao, and safeguard the peace of Hong Huang!"
"More importantly, may you never forget your original aspiration, press forward with perseverance, and lead the Hong Huang universe into a new era more glorious and radiant than this one!"
"The weight of this responsibility, the hardship of this path, far exceeds imagination—can you bear it?!"
Every word Xiang Xuanqing spoke struck Emperor Jun’s heart like a hammer of the Dao, and echoed in the hearts of every divine being present.
Di Jun stood rigidly upright, meeting Xiang Xuanqing’s gaze without the slightest retreat or hesitation.
His resonant and resolute voice rang throughout the Tian Di Gong:
"Grateful for the favor of Your Majesty and the Heavenly Dao Committee, I humbly accept the succession—overwhelmed with awe and gratitude!"
"Your Majesty’s earnest instructions are pearls of wisdom—I shall engrave them in my heart, never forgetting them for a moment!"
"From this day forward, I shall take Your Majesty as my model, hold all living beings in my thoughts, measure my actions by impartiality, and work tirelessly without the slightest slack!"
"Anything beneficial to Hong Huang, I shall surely enact; anything harmful to the masses, I shall surely eradicate!"
"I swear here: during my tenure, if I violate the Dao or betray the masses, I shall willingly accept heavenly retribution and be damned through countless kalpas!"
"I humbly beg Your Majesty to rest assured, I beg all fellow Daoists to oversee me, and I beg the beings of the Three Realms to bear witness!"
Di Jun’s reply was heartfelt and resounding.
It expressed profound respect and gratitude toward Xiang Xuanqing, while demonstrating the resolve and duty of the new Tian Di—his propriety and solemnity earned silent nods of approval from every divine being present.
"Good!" Xiang Xuanqing said, finally allowing a faint smile of satisfaction to cross his face.
As his words faded, radiant light erupted within the Tian Di Gong.
A crown of the Tian Di appeared—ancient yet magnificent, inlaid with the stars of the Zhou Tian, the sun and moon, the mountains and rivers.
The instant the crown settled upon Di Jun’s head, the entire Tai Wei Tian Ting trembled violently.
Boundless divine light surged from Di Jun’s body, piercing the heavens, resonating in perfect harmony with the Zhou Tian stars above!
"From this day forward, you are the new Tian Di of the Hong Huang Zhen Jie!" Xiang Xuanqing handed Di Jun the Tian Di Yin.
All divine beings present—including Nv Wa and the Three Pure Ones—simultaneously bowed deeply before Di Jun, now crowned and robed as Tian Di!
"We pay homage to the Tian Di! May Your Majesty’s life endure as long as the Dao itself!"
A roar of homage, like mountains and seas in unison, rose once more.
This time, the object of their worship was no longer Xiang Xuanqing, but the newly crowned Tian Di—Di Jun!
Thus, the coronation ceremony was complete!
At this very moment, all of Hong Huang rejoiced!
The Dao bestowed infinite Xuan Huang Gong De light, like a celestial river cascading downward.
Two-tenths merged into the bodies of the gods, rewarding them for aiding the Tian Di in governing Hong Huang.
Four-tenths went to Tian Di Xiang Xuanqing.
Yet Xiang Xuanqing did not accept it—he dispersed it into the Hong Huang Zhen Jie and the boundless Zhu Tian, bestowing it upon all living beings.
The remaining four-tenths were fully channeled into the new Tian Di, Di Jun, strengthening his heavenly mandate and solidifying his status!
In an instant, all of Hong Huang and the myriad worlds were suffused with an atmosphere of joy, peace, and renewed hope.
The boundless multitude, receiving the Gong De, all felt its presence.
They spontaneously turned toward the Tai Wei Tian Ting and offered reverent distant salutations.
In their hearts burned deep reluctance for the holy Tian Di Xiang Xuanqing, who had led them through long years of peace and ushered in an unparalleled golden age.
And so, they bowed farewell with sincerity.
"We respectfully bid farewell to the Holy Tian Di!"
The glory of the old era closed its curtain; the new era’s chapter, bathed in the music of universal celebration and the boundless Gong De, was officially opened!
