Chapter 344: The Last Snow of

Xiao Cai, a big fan among the Strangers, the JK Uniform-wearing little rich girl who hadn't appeared in a long time.

Because of Luo Mo, she had tried being a music critic, only to discover in the end that, aside from having a level of attractiveness and snow-white thighs similar to Leshen Dama, she truly had no talent for writing music reviews.

Of course, this was mainly reflected in her professional proficiency; there was a vast gap between her reserve of professional knowledge and that of Leshen Dama.

Instead, after Luo Mo started filming "Sword of Fairy", she tried writing a few pieces of Drama, which were very well-received online.

"So my talent tree was planted here all along!" Xiao Cai suddenly realized.

And once "Sword of Fairy: Jingtian Arc" began airing, Xiao Cai threw herself into the army of viewers, actively writing Drama and Shouting for the show.

As a Drama Critic, not only did she not receive any payment from Luo Mo Studio, she even dug into her own pockets to send red envelopes in the Drama Critic group, calling on everyone to come write about "Sword of Fairy: Jingtian Arc" together.

——Rich girl, feed me, I'm hungry!

Today was the finale night of "Sword of Fairy", and Xiao Cai was guarding the screen early, waiting for the broadcast of the grand finale.

After watching the penultimate episode, she cried until she couldn't catch her breath.

"Good thing I had the foresight to remove my makeup before watching the show," Xiao Cai said, wiping away tears while feeling a little smug.

Of course, it's us Strangers who understand this dog of a man, Luo Mo, the best!

He just loves to make us cry, in every way, crazily!

If she hadn't removed her makeup, her eye makeup and mascara would likely have been ruined by her crying.

"My beloved Long Kui..." Xiao Cai felt incomparably sad in her heart.

Throughout the entire show, for some reason, the one she liked the most was Long Kui.

Others might think Xuejian was pretty, with a good figure, bouncy and lively, so spirited.

She just felt Long Kui was the most beautiful; both Lan Kui and Hong Kui were beautiful!

But fortunately, they finally defeated Xie Jianxian, and Xiao Cai thought to herself: "My Princess Long Kui played an indispensable role!"

She was the key to achieving victory!

Following that, what was about to be broadcast was the grand finale for several couples, which was the content regarding the romantic storylines.

Xiao Cai shifted her bottom, the skirt of her JK Uniform rubbing against the chair, and she sat up straight, watching intently.

The theme of her Drama for this installment was the final romantic relationships of the characters.

So she wasn't just watching the show; she was working.

In Xiao Cai's view, Strangers who are brave enough to work are the only ones qualified to shout the slogan "Luo Mo, work overtime".

On screen, Zixuan was seen taking Xu Zhangqing to a place of breathtaking beauty.

"Why does this scenery look so familiar?" Xiao Cai thought.

"Oh, I remember. The male lead of 'Seeking Swallow Record' sank into the lake here, and the female lead of 'Plum Fragrance Biography' gave birth in the wooden house by this lake."

Many film and television dramas reuse filming locations; the same spot has witnessed a multitude of different Drama.

Generally speaking, ordinary viewers wouldn't recognize it due to the different camera angles.

So, Xiao Cai truly had strong insight; she was quite suited to be a Drama Critic.

Zixuan told Xu Zhangqing that this place was called the Lake of Forgetting.

As long as one drank the lake water, one could forget everything, no matter how deeply ingrained it was.

Originally, the Drama here was very critical and gripping, and Xiao Cai was watching, completely enthralled.

However, the bullet comments posted by the silly netizens were just too mocking, and Xiao Cai couldn't help but laugh and scold: "What are you doing? The atmosphere is ruined!"

The bullet comments swept in.

"Share a sip with me!"

"Chonglou: Are you sure you won't let me have some too?"

"Chonglou: I'm going to drain the whole lake!"

"Chonglou heard this and drank the lake water overnight, then realized... he had no heart."

"A certain Demon Lord drank it all overnight and even wanted a refill, saying: 'Bad luck!'"

Fortunately, when Xu Zhangqing and Zixuan began to drink the Forget-Love Water, the BGM started playing, and the mocking bullet comments instantly ceased.

It was "Dayi Bu Ai Ni".

This song was Xiao Cai's favorite in the "Jingtian Arc".

Many people liked "Love You", but she alone preferred this "Dayi Bu Ai Ni".

Xu Zhangqing and Zixuan were seen drinking the Forget-Love Water together, then smiling at each other.

Zixuan shed tears, and Xu Zhangqing's eyes turned red.

Neither of them spoke, suddenly turning around and walking in opposite directions.

Immediately after, Xiao Cai couldn't help but let out a gasp.

"Zixuan didn't drink it!"

"Does she know she is about to grow old, so she doesn't want to forget?"

"It seems that according to the setting of the 'Sword of Fairy' series, a Nuwa Descendant does not enter Reincarnation."

Xiao Cai suddenly felt that Zixuan was very pitiful and tragic.

"Could it be that she has to leave in loneliness during the final moments of her life?"

Xu Zhangqing... still couldn't let go of the common people of the world; the burden on his shoulders was too heavy.

Xiao Cai let out a long sigh; she had already figured out how to write the Drama, and the entry point had already been thought out.

On the other side, Xu Zhangqing, who had already turned and walked away, suddenly raised two fingers, used his cultivation to tap his own body, and the next moment, he forcefully expelled the Forget-Love Water from his body, spitting it out completely.

Xiao Cai, watching the finale alone at home, let out a groundhog-like scream!

"Ahhhhh! The two of them actually tacitly didn't drink it, fulfilling each other, yet unwilling to forget!"

She was first incomparably excited, then turned to feel... it was so heartbreaking.

The affection spanning three lives and three worlds—what torment it will bring to the two of them in the days to come.

She suddenly recalled a sentence:

"Time can only heal those who are willing to get better."

Some people, as time passes, still cannot let go.

Xu Zhangqing began his tenure as Shushan Sect Leader, shouldering the responsibility of protecting the common people of the world.

Because the seal on her daughter Qing'er had been broken, the Fate of the Nuwa Descendant began to manifest in Zixuan. Her power would gradually return to Qing'er, and she would no longer remain forever young; she would begin to age and eventually pass away.

Maomao did not return to life after all, and Long Kui could only remain attached to the long sword.

Jingtian took them to see Changan and drank wine with Chonglou.

Chonglou still could not let go of Zixuan, but he did not disturb her.

Jingtian and Xuejian seemed to have a perfect ending, but in reality, Jingtian had already sacrificed his own lifespan, and he would not be able to accompany her for much longer.

Xiao Cai finished watching the final episode of *Legend of Sword and Fairy: Jingtian Arc*, looking at the vast white snow within it, lost in thought.

She knew how to write it now.

……..

………

*Legend of Sword and Fairy: Jingtian Arc* has officially concluded.

Countless people expressed that they were moved to tears, stating that after finishing it, there were too many regrets left in their hearts.

Opening the internet, one could see a large number of viewers still in heated discussion, and the Weibo Hot Search list was directly dominated by *Legend of Sword and Fairy*.

Among them, many videos and articles were highly popular, making viewers feel that everything became even more heartbreaking after reading them.

That practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine who first discovered that the main cast of *Legend of Sword and Fairy* was named after medicinal herbs posted another video.

He was seen sitting in front of the camera, saying:

"As I mentioned before, Xuejian, Jingtian, Xu Zhangqing, Chonglou....... are all named after medicinal herbs."

"Zixuan is a Nuwa Descendant, with a human head and snake body."

"And both Xu Zhangqing and Chonglou can neutralize snake venom; both possess this medicinal effect."

"It is said that Xu Zhangqing's medicinal effect is even better."

"Therefore, Xu Zhangqing ultimately gives up Zixuan for the sake of the 【Dao】. And Chonglou can give his own heart to Zixuan for her sake."

"As for Zixuan, she is also called the 'forget-worry grass'."

This practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine looked at the camera and smiled, as if prescribing a formula for someone, saying: "Two liang of nine-leaf Chonglou, one qian of winter solstice silkworm chrysalis, decocted in snow from the previous year, can cure the suffering of Acacia in the world."

"But Chonglou is a seven-leaf single-flower, where would one find a winter solstice silkworm chrysalis, and how can snow be from the previous year?"

"Thus, there is no cure for Acacia."

Relying on the prescriptions written by the ancients, this practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine popularized the profound meaning behind the naming of several characters for everyone.

On the other side, Xiao Cai also published her own review, analyzing several plot points in the final episode from her own perspective.

Many people, after finishing it, exclaimed: "I'm emotionally devastated!"

Xiao Cai wrote in the review: "I didn't understand at first why both of them had to drink the Forget-Love Water, only to spit it out later."

"I thought about it later; perhaps it was because they were afraid that if they didn't remember each other, and met again one day, the two of them would still fall in love at first sight and fall in love all over again."

The reason readers felt emotionally devastated after reading this review was because many realized with a start after finishing it—so, that final snow in the grand finale was cast by Xu Zhangqing for Zixuan!

Xiao Cai wrote in the review: "In the Underwater City, Zixuan once told Xu Zhangqing that she was born in the Miao territory and had never seen snow."

"Zhangqing promised her that he would accompany her to see it in the future."

"But heaven did not grant their wish; in the end, because of Fate and responsibility, the two pretended to drink the Forget-Love Water."

"In the grand finale, Zhangqing is on Shushan."

"At this time, he is already the Shushan Sect Leader, the protector of the common people."

"Heavy snow begins to fall outside, and Xu Zhangqing begins to dance with his sword and cast spells in the snow."

"I don't know if everyone noticed, but the sky full of white snow at this moment did not fall from the high sky, but rose against the sky, flying toward the heights."

"Because........ he sent the snow from Shushan to the Nanzhao Kingdom!"

"Zixuan, already with white hair, stood beside the flowers and green leaves, while vast white snow suddenly drifted down from the sky."

"The white-haired Zixuan opened her palms and danced smilingly amidst the snowflakes."

"Perhaps, at that moment, she knew that he had not drunk the Forget-Love Water either."

"It is just a pity that Qing'er has already broken the seal and begun to grow up, which means she will start absorbing Zixuan's spiritual power; her time is running out."

"Xu Zhangqing may attain the 【Dao】, while Zixuan, due to her identity as a Nuwa Descendant, will not fall into Reincarnation, her soul returning to the Holy Spirit Bead, becoming a part of the Spirit Bead."

"The bond between the two of them ends here."

"In the final episode of the entire series, because the female lead is named Xuejian and the male lead is named Jingtian, 【Snow falls because of Heaven】, so it ends in heavy snow."

"In this snow, because of the Romance of Xu Zhangqing and Zixuan spanning three lives and three worlds, I saw Luo Mo's ruthlessness, and I also saw his Gentle side."

"Perhaps, when he was filming that scene of Xu Zhangqing dancing with his sword in the snow, the meaning he wanted to express was........"

"Suddenly an old friend passes through the heart, looking back, the mountains and rivers are already winter."

"If we can walk in the snow together, this life can be considered as growing old together."
