Chapter 664: Luo Mo's First Cantonese Song

There is no need to say much about how glorious Cantonese songs once were.

Back in the day, many people from the mainland or Baodao would specifically travel to Xiangjiang to develop their careers, diligently practicing Cantonese, and then releasing a few Cantonese songs.

In fact, many familiar Cantonese songs were not necessarily sung by people from Yue Province or Xiangjiang.

Originally, current listeners did not hold high expectations for so-called new Cantonese songs.

In everyone's mobile phones, they just listen to those old songs over and over again.

But if it is a production by Luo Mo, then it is worth looking forward to.

What's more, this time it is a divine collaboration with Chen Luo!

As mentioned before, in his early years, Luozai would release both Mandarin and Cantonese versions for many of his songs, and he also has quite a few classic Cantonese oldies.

Now, it remains to be seen whether he and Luo Mo can collaborate to produce something different.

Judging from the heated discussions on the internet, many listeners are a bit impatient.

"It has been a long time since I added a new Cantonese song to my playlist!"

"You can always trust Luo Mo and Luozai!"

"Honestly, Luozai still has a lot of flavor when singing in Cantonese."

"By the way, isn't Luo Mo's Cantonese quite good too? I saw him communicating directly in Cantonese with artists from Xiangjiang on variety shows; why doesn't he sing it himself?"

"A bit curious about what Luo Mo sounds like singing in Cantonese, haha!"

Seeing many people online saying they look forward to him singing a Cantonese song, Luo Mo could not help but smile knowingly.

As a popular Singer and a studio boss, he must have his own career plan.

Just like the first song, "The You of the Past," on the album *On the Road*, the target audience is middle-aged fans, continuously broadening his fan base.

"Cantonese songs are such a big cake; it would indeed be a pity not to take a bite." Luo Mo had thought about this long ago.

After all, no matter how much they have declined and no longer possess their former glory, there is still a massive audience in Yue Province and Xiangjiang.

Furthermore, there are so many classic Cantonese songs on Earth; Luo Mo feels it is a waste to just let them gather dust.

Therefore, he is also prepared to make a small attempt on this album.

An hour after Chen Luo posted on Weibo, Luo Mo Studio also released a teaser for a new song coming tomorrow.

"Tomorrow, Luo Mo's first Cantonese song will be released."

All of a sudden, the loyal listeners of Cantonese songs were completely boiling over.

Many people were still guessing: "Could it be that Chen Luo and Luo Mo sang a Cantonese song together?"

But a master detective immediately jumped out to analyze, feeling that it should be two songs, rather than the two of them performing a duet.

Because on Luo Mo's side, it is clearly continuing to release a new album step by step.

And before this, the relationship between Luo Mo and Chen Luo was not as peaceful and friendly as it is now.

If they had already been very familiar with each other during the album recording and had collaborated on a song.

Then, wasn't the earlier album competition just creating hype and acting?

At that time, things were very tense.

"Although I'm looking forward to them singing together, it's also great to hear two new songs!"

"People from Yue Province say they can't wait!"

"Let me see where the fans from Xiangjiang are!"

"Exactly, Luo Mo should have released a Cantonese song long ago; it will also make the atmosphere better when he comes to Yue Province and Xiangjiang for concerts in the future!"

Of course, more people are curious about what type of song Luo Mo's first personal Cantonese song will be.

What connection does this song have with the album title *On the Road*?

In fact, what Luo Mo chose is a love song.

This song sings about being together in appearance but separated in spirit, becoming like strangers.

Two people are clearly still together, yet their hearts have already walked onto diverging paths.

By the way, he is using this song to show off his vocal range and singing techniques.

By four o'clock in the afternoon, Chen Luo's team contacted Luo Mo Studio and sent a request.

As everyone knows, in recent years, the Live Broadcast industry can be said to have developed explosively.

Many celebrities also hold Live Broadcast activities, and there is no lack of big-name stars among them.

Even many so-called veteran artists have gone to Live Broadcast to sell goods.

Let's not talk about Live Broadcast selling goods for now.

Pure Live Broadcast is actually a pretty good way to interact with fans in real-time.

Chen Luo received an invitation from the currently hottest short-video platform, 【Doule】, and will open an account tomorrow to join 【Doule】.

【Doule】 suggested that he could hold a Live Broadcast to promote his new song and new album.

Often, when celebrities do a Live Broadcast, they will have a video link-up with celebrity friends they are familiar with.

This can not only drive traffic to each other but also make the Live Broadcast more interesting.

Chen Luo sent a link-up invitation to Luo Mo, asking him to be the mystery guest for tomorrow's Live Broadcast.

Luo Mo then took the opportunity to put forward his own idea, inviting Chen Luo to make a cameo in *Charlotte Troubles*.

The two hit it off immediately.

………

………

On Wednesday, Chen Luo started the first Live Broadcast of his life.

The function to send gifts was turned off for this Live Broadcast activity.

In Chen Luo's view, he was purely here to interact with his fans and friends, and to promote his new song.

He had no intention of earning money from these gifts.

As soon as the Live Broadcast started, the audience found it quite amusing.

Because it was Luozai's first time doing a Live Broadcast, he was flustered, not knowing how to do this or that.

It could be said that he made mistakes in his operations frequently.

Fans felt that the dashing and graceful Luozai seemed to be gone forever.

After getting entangled with Luo Mo, he had an increasing tendency to become a Comedy performer.

In the process of interacting, he looked at the comments from netizens and was completely confused.

"What do these letters mean?"

"I know what YYDS means, but what does this SSFD mean?" Chen Luo asked.

A staff member off-camera prompted: "It means 'shivering with fear'."

Chen Luo frowned.

"What about NBCS?"

"Is it 'cannot be taken out in public'?" Chen Luo guessed.

The staff member prompted: "No, this is an abbreviation for 'nobody-cares'."

The corners of Chen Luo's mouth twitched, and his frown deepened.

He didn't really like this mode.

Chen Luo discovered that the more he didn't know what the meanings were, the more desperately the audience in the Live Broadcast room would spam them.

So, later on, he simply ignored these people altogether.

If I can't understand what you are posting, then there is no way to interact.

Seeing that the time was almost up, Chen Luo began to get to the main point.

He was going to sing a new Cantonese song in the Live Broadcast room—"Bicycle".

Before Singing, he first recounted his own understanding of this song.

He informed the audience in the Live Broadcast room that this song was not the kind of mainstream song that purely praises fatherly love; the lyrics written by Luo Mo had deeper meanings.

In fact, on Earth, whenever holidays like Father's Day arrived, the popularity of the song "Bicycle" would soar, and there were many listeners who misunderstood this song.

Everyone saw Chen Luo sitting there talking eloquently, and it was clear that he attached extreme importance to Luo Mo's creation.

He would go to understand the meaning of the lyrics and analyze the interpretation of the emotions.

And it must be said, Chen Luo's singing skills were truly strong.

He just sat there, Singing in the Live Broadcast room, with incomparably rich emotions.

"【Hard to part, wanting to hold on tighter,

The vast life is like a wilderness……..】"

In the Live Broadcast, there were certainly no subtitles.

Some people could understand the lyrics, while others could not.

However, everyone just felt it sounded good, just felt it was moving.

When the song ended, many people were still immersed in the singing voice.

For those wearing headphones, it was even more of an enjoyment.

After finishing the song, Chen Luo smiled and said: "How about it, the song Luo Mo wrote isn't bad, right?"

After saying that, he said: "Eh, time is almost up."

"Next, I will connect via microphone with a friend."

Chen Luo gave his assistant a look, signaling her to go and confirm whether things were ready on that side.

During this process, the audience in the Live Broadcast room began to guess one after another who it was.

"Could it be Xu Lianying?"

"It must be a Singer from Magnetic Dragon."

"I guess it's Mo Jie, after all, he is Luozai's apprentice."

"Anyway, it can't be Luo Mo."

"Necessarily, Luo Mo doesn't have a 【Doule】 account."

Yes, Luo Mo personally did not have an account on 【Doule】.

But his studio did.

After the assistant gave an OK gesture, Chen Luo began to operate the microphone connection.

When everyone saw the person he was connecting with, they were all shocked!

"Xu Chujing!?"

"Holy crap! Jing!"

"A rare sight in a lifetime!"

"Ahhhhh! Love it, love it!"

"The mysterious guest is actually Jing?"

The audience felt that all of this was such a Surprise, so unexpected.

However, after the connection was successful, they realized the biggest Surprise was yet to come!

Only to see that the person appearing in front of the camera was not Xu Chujing, but…….. Luo Mo!

In an instant, the Live Broadcast room completely exploded.

Netizens posted frantically, making the technical team of 【Doule】 feel immense pressure.

This Live Broadcast must not crash.

Every minute and every second is precious!

If he's paralyzed because of this, we're all going to be in deep trouble!

Looking at the comments, there was a sea of: "I ship it! I ship it!"

Using his girlfriend's account to meet everyone on a Live Broadcast is also quite something!

On screen, Luo Mo hadn't specifically dressed up, and he hadn't even styled his hair.

He sat there, first greeted Chen Luo, and then immediately said: "Nobody send any gifts! I'll emphasize this again, nobody send any gifts!"

"You all should know how rich I am, right!"

After talking for a long time, he saw that not a single person was "testing the law," and only then did he realize: "Oh, so Brother Luo turned off the gifts."

After he finished this sentence, everyone could faintly hear a burst of laughter.

It was a woman's laughter!

Everyone could guess immediately that it must be Xu Chujing nearby.

The netizens immediately started typing.

"Let Jing appear on camera."

"Can you guys do a joint Live Broadcast!"

"Wuwuwu, it's been so long since I've seen the Mo Xu CP appear in public."

"I'm dying of happiness!"

"Let's see who dares to spread rumors about their relationship now!"

"Please get married on the spot!"

"I really want to send gifts, just consider it a wedding gift contribution."

Luo Mo took a look, turned his head, and said: "They are all typing your name."

After saying that, he continued to interact with Chen Luo, saying: "Alright, alright, I am a Special Invited Guest for Brother Luo today, can't we let our 'Luo Luo Da Fang' duo put on a proper show for everyone?"

Chen Luo just sat there laughing, not saying much else.

Luo Mo gave a light cough and said: "Hello everyone, let me officially start by introducing myself."

"I am the songwriter for Chen Luo's new song 'Bicycle', Luo Mo."

"Hmm, you guys can start the praise now, type your compliments on the public screen."

The audience was very cooperative, indeed heaping praise to the high heavens.

However, there were also many letters; some Luo Mo could understand, like 【YYDS】, but he couldn't understand most of them.

He was more direct than Chen Luo.

Luo Mo wore a smile, his tone sounding like he was joking, but his words were very direct: "You netizens who are posting letters, how many years do you get for typing like that where you're from?"

During the chat between Chen Luo and Luo Mo, the number of people in the Live Broadcast room began to surge!

By now, there were probably related entries already rushing up the Weibo Hot Search list.

The staff at 【Doule】 were already going crazy with joy.

The pressure on the technical staff was constantly increasing.

"It's too explosive! It's too explosive!"

"This might break a record, right?"

"This is killing me, I feel like the preparations made in advance aren't enough!"

【Doule】 knew about the Live Broadcast arrangement between Chen Luo and Luo Mo.

——Luo Mo would only participate in a ten-minute joint stream.

However, he would, just like Chen Luo in the Live Broadcast room, Sing his own new Cantonese song once!

They hadn't even sung the new song yet, and the Live Broadcast room was already this explosive.

When the song is actually sung, what will happen then!?

(PS: Going to pick up An'an from the hospital tomorrow~)
