Chapter 184: Surrendered soldiers: My lord treats us this way, our lives belong to my lord!

Two days later, outside Huaiyincheng!

"Fengxiao, tell me, how can we take this Huaiyincheng without shedding blood!"

Standing in front of the military camp, Lin Yang looked at the Huaiyincheng in front of him and sighed!

In ancient warfare!

Sieging a city was always extremely difficult!

Basically, you needed three times the force to take a city!

If you encountered a strategic pass like a mountain pass, then basically ten times the force might not be enough to take it down!

Even if Lin Yang had black gunpowder in his hands!

He still needed to pay a certain price, distracting the soldiers, before he could let the black gunpowder blow open the city gate!

"Why does Prefect Lin need to worry? Breaking the city is right before our eyes!"

Guo Jia, who was standing to the side, had also witnessed the strength of the food in Lin Yang's army over the past two days!

Not only eating meat every meal, but also distributing brocade robes to ordinary soldiers!

Treating soldiers this way, winning their hearts, why worry that the world will not be pacified!

Moved in his heart, Guo Jia also had the intention to offer strategies to Lin Yang!

"Oh? How can Fengxiao teach me?"

Hearing Guo Jia say this, Lin Yang looked over excitedly!

For the past two days, Lin Yang hadn't been in a hurry to recruit him!

He believed!

Relying on the supplies in his hands, and the Xuzhou he was about to take!

He would still have a chance to conquer a top-tier strategist like Guo Jia!

Now, seeing Guo Jia's confident appearance, Lin Yang's heart was greatly moved!

"Prefect Lin, I heard that you collected the bodies of Tao's army from the previous battle, and have been returning them to the other side in succession these past few days?"

Guo Jia said indifferently, his gaze glancing at the flatbed carts going out from the military camp!

The bodies of the defeated army from the previous battle!

Couldn't be sent back in one day!

These past few days, they had already sent back the bodies of several thousand soldiers!

"Uh!" Lin Yang's gaze looked strangely at Guo Jia. "Fengxiao, don't tell me you are also preparing to be like Zhongde, asking me to delay for two months, and return the bodies in early spring?!"

Black!

It was truly too black!

How could these strategists all use any means necessary!

"Uh? Zhongde suggested to Prefect Lin to return the bodies in early spring?"

Lin Yang's counter-question made Guo Jia slightly stunned!

Then Guo Jia understood Cheng Yu's plan!

It was mid-winter now, so a plague wouldn't break out even if bodies were piled up!

But in early spring, when all things revive, with a large number of bodies piled up, it would definitely trigger a plague, ravaging the city!

In this way, Huaiyincheng would fall without an attack!
