Chapter 202

Second year of Chuping, early April, Xuzhoucheng

"I didn't expect that since we parted at Suanzao, when we meet again, this Lin Ziyuan has already become a major force!"

Standing on the city wall of Xuzhoucheng, Liu Bei looked at Lin Yang's great army in the distance, his expression exceptionally complex and melancholy!

"Big brother, why boost others' morale and destroy your own prestige! ~"

Zhang Fei on the side was unhappy; they were all from the background of County Magistrates!

Were they weaker than this Lin Yang?

As long as they helped Tao Qian defend Xuzhoucheng, there would definitely be a place for them in Xuzhou!

"Sigh, third brother!"

Liu Bei sighed, but did not speak again!

It seemed that he and Lin Yang were both County Magistrates!

But now the other party already had sixty thousand troops and could occupy a province at any time!

How could he be compared to a County Magistrate!

"Big brother, I actually think third brother's words are good!" Guan Yu looked at Lin Yang's great army below and spoke, "This time, if we defend Xuzhou, I think we will also have a commandery as a place to settle down!"

"By then, big brother can also display your lifelong ambition!"

Tao Qian occupied Xuzhou!

But his troops were almost wiped out!

Now that Liu Bei and the others had defected to Tao Qian, they would definitely be treated as confidants!

As long as they repelled Lin Yang!

Whether it was Peng Cheng Commandery or Xiapi Commandery, wouldn't they be in their pockets!

Even if Tao Qian died!

They could still get their hands on the entire Xuzhou!

"Hmm, Yunchang's words are good!"

Encouraged by Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, Liu Bei also regained his fighting spirit!

He had drifted for half his life!

If he could occupy the land of Xuzhou, then his future hegemony could be achieved!

And at the same time, in the Mi mansion

"Big brother, I heard that Lin Ziyuan has already stationed his great army outside the city?"

At this moment, Especially Mi Zhu was reading in the backyard, and a young girl on the side was asking excitedly!

Ever since she knew of Lin Yang's existence!

She had heard many things about Lin Yang from her big brother's mouth!

"That's right, little sister. I think it won't be long before Xuzhou changes hands!"

Especially Mi Zhu laughed lightly and then explained to the young girl before him!

And Mi Fang, sitting on the side, looked displeased!

"Big brother, Lin Yang has already fought to the city walls, why are you pretending to be sick and not going out?"

Mi Fang didn't understand; at this time, shouldn't they take the opportunity to win over the major noble families in the city?

Why were they staying at home instead!

"Second brother, remember, in this battle, we must do nothing!"

Especially Mi Zhu stroked the young girl's head and turned to look at Mi Fang beside him with a serious face!

Their Mi family!

Had already bet on Lin Yang in advance!

But precisely because of this, they were now feared by Tao Qian!

At this time, if they were stable and did nothing!

Tao Qian, for the sake of internal stability, would not move against their Mi family!

But if their Mi family dared to cause chaos!

Tao Qian would absolutely not be merciful!

Tao Qian was old, and he was sick!

But he was not dead!

Betting on Lin Yang and sending six thousand warhorses to Lin Yang!

This would at most be severely punished by Tao Qian!

For the sake of the balance of the noble families in Xuzhou, Tao Qian would not kill them!

But if they went to run errands for Lin Yang and win over people's hearts at this time!

This was betraying the master!

If caught by Tao Qian, the destruction of the Mi family would be right before their eyes!

"Big brother, in this way, isn't Lin Yang in danger?"

The young girl said with slight worry, and Especially Mi Zhu also looked outside helplessly!

"Now, we can only see how Lin Ziyuan does!"

The Mi family was now doing nothing!

Outside Xuzhoucheng, in the military camp

"My lord, the great army has all set up camp!"

Taishi Ci walked in and bowed!

The fifty thousand-strong army had arrived and was now all properly settled, and they had set up obstacles and scouts on the perimeter, always alert to the movements in all directions!

"Hmm, Ziyi has also come, then let's discuss the next siege!"

Letting Taishi Ci sit down, Lin Yang then looked at Guo Jia and Cheng Yu on the side!

This time!

They had no one to surrender in this Xuzhoucheng!

Wanting to capture Xuzhoucheng was by no means an easy task!

"My lord, tomorrow we can first send a general to challenge, to dampen the morale in the city!"

When two armies clash, sending a great general to fight and beheading a general before the formation can shake the other party's morale!

In this way, the siege will be much more convenient!

"Hmm, hmm!"
