Chapter 298

Third year of Chuping, late July

Kuaiji Commandery, outside Yuhang County

"Young Master, good news, Lin Yang has retreated!"

In the forest, Cheng Pu looked at the latest news and spoke excitedly!

Lin Yang retreated twenty thousand and had already arrived at Kuaiji Commandery!

This meant their plan had succeeded!

Lin Yang was now out of grain!

"Haha, good, Gongjin's plan succeeded!"

A look of joy appeared on Sun Ce's face, and then he looked toward Yushan with burning eyes!

Once Lin Yang's great army retreats, Gongjin and the others will inevitably launch an attack!

"Go, let's go and meet them!"

Now that the mission was complete, Sun Ce decided to lead his troops away immediately and launch a sneak attack from the rear on Lin Yang's fleeing army!

At this moment, Sun Ce was completely unaware that Sun Jian's army on the front line had already been broken by Lin Yang!

With two thousand troops heading west, the Yuhang County Magistrate soon received the news!

For a time, the two commanderies of Yangzhou were all in turmoil!

Kuaiji Commandery, in Kuaiji City

"Order the whole city to be silent; anyone who dares to speak of defeat will be executed without mercy!"

Chen Yu was sitting in the government office, his heart filled with helplessness!

Since he had already defected to Lin Yang, he could only barely maintain the situation!

Now that there were more than twenty thousand troops in Kuaiji Commandery, they must be stabilized to have the strength to fight again!

"Report, a great victory at the front, the lord has crushed Sun Jian's thirty thousand-strong army at Xianxialing!"
