Chapter 374

Yuzhou, Pei Commandery

"Kill... kill... kill..."

The sounds of slaughter echoed, and in a short while, the city wall before them was quickly and completely breached by Lin Yang.

"The city is breached, brothers, kill."

With a loud shout, the soldiers surged in like a tide.

Watching the soldiers in the midst of slaughter, Lin Yang turned his gaze to Guo Jia beside him.

"Fengxiao, what is the current situation?"

Since the battle of Xia Qiu City, Lin Yang had led fifty thousand combat-ready troops and pursued them all the way here.

With Yuan Gonglu and Lu Bu defeated, wherever Lin Yang's army arrived, they surrendered at the mere sight of them.

The conquest within the entire Pei Commandery had not encountered much resistance.

There were not many cities that resisted like the one before them.

"My lord, Zilong has already sent word back; the army has already captured Liang Commandery and is currently leading the army south to rendezvous with you in Runan Commandery."

Guo Jia, standing to the side, reported the latest intelligence.

Zhao Yun, who had originally gone to pursue Yuan Gonglu.

Had to give up the pursuit because Lin Yang's army had mobilized.

Lin Yang split off twenty thousand troops for Zhao Yun to lead, to capture Liang Commandery.

Yuzhou, located in the center of the world, was densely populated.

It had a total of six commanderies: Pei, Lu, Liang, Chen, Yingchuan, and Runan.

Now, with Yuan Gonglu's defeat, Lin Yang's army had directly swept through Pei Commandery and Liang Commandery.

"How is Zhongde doing?"

Turning his gaze to Guo Jia, two commanderies of Yuzhou were already in hand.

It all depended on the situation with Cheng Yu.

"Zhongde sent a letter saying that Cao Mengde of Lu Commandery has retreated, and he has taken the opportunity to capture Lu Commandery."

Lu Commandery and Liang Commandery had small land areas and small populations, and Yuan Gonglu had not arranged many troops to garrison them.

Taking them down would not be too troublesome.
