Chapter 33: Fire Intent

Coming out of the Battle Tower.

Qin Yu and the others were also there.

"Ye Tian, did you clear the tenth floor of the Battle Tower?"

Qin Yu asked with some nervousness.

"I cleared it!"

Ye Tian said indifferently.

These words caused Qin Yu's expression to change, and his mood became very poor.

If Ye Tian was not bragging, then his Newcomer King title was certainly gone.

Returning to the dormitory.

Ye Tian was still thinking about the problem of that Fireball Technique.

"I'll ask Instructor Li Haoyang; he should know what is going on with that Black Scale Clan member on the twelfth floor of the Battle Tower."

Ye Tian sent a message to Instructor Li Haoyang, stating his question.

As it happened, Instructor Li Haoyang had not gone to the Underground Cave and received the message.

"Ye Tian, you broke into the twelfth floor of the Battle Tower?"

Li Haoyang was very surprised.

Among the freshmen, someone had actually broken into the twelfth floor; although they hadn't cleared it, it was still very monstrous.

"Yes!" Ye Tian answered truthfully, "I cleared the eleventh floor and entered the twelfth floor, but that Black Scale Clan member killed me instantly with a single Fireball Technique. Logically speaking, a Fireball Technique shouldn't be able to hurt me!"

Li Haoyang explained: "Originally, this is not knowledge you should know yet, but since you have reached the twelfth floor of the Battle Tower, I will tell you about it. The opponent did indeed use a Fireball Technique, but they had integrated Fire Intent into the Fireball Technique."

"Fire Intent?" Ye Tian heard of this for the first time.

Li Haoyang continued: "Artistic Conception is a power mastered by every Ability Grandmaster, and only by comprehending Artistic Conception can one break through to become an Ability Grandmaster. Many Peak Espers are unable to break through precisely because they have not comprehended Artistic Conception. Once one comprehends the corresponding Artistic Conception, one can use the power of Artistic Conception to promote the evolution of the Ability Organ, thereby stepping into the Ability Grandmaster realm. The Peak Ability Master of the Black Scale Clan on the twelfth floor of the Battle Tower is a powerhouse who controls Fire Intent."

"Instructor, how can one comprehend Artistic Conception?"

Ye Tian asked for guidance.

Li Haoyang said: "To comprehend Artistic Conception, one must grasp the true meaning of Strange Art and perceive the mysteries of heaven and earth. Take our Water Element, for example; the simplest way to comprehend Water Intent is to contemplate an S-rank Water Element Treasure. That kind of Water Element Treasure contains the mysteries of heaven and earth, and there is a chance to comprehend Water Intent from it.

But S-rank Water Element Treasures are very rare, and their value is too high; they are hard to come by.

There is another way, which is to practice various Water-type Strange Techniques. By comprehending each Water-type Strange Technique to the Consummation Realm and accumulating Strange Arts, one can perceive the true meaning of Water-type Strange Techniques, and it is possible to comprehend Water Intent. But this method is too difficult and wastes too much time. Since you cleared the eleventh floor of the Battle Tower, you will certainly obtain the Newcomer King title, and then you can enter a place where you can earn Battle Merit. By using Battle Merit, there is a chance to obtain the opportunity to contemplate an S-rank Water Element Treasure."

"Many thanks for the guidance, Instructor!"

Ye Tian said hurriedly.

"S-rank Treasure, don't think about it for now, but accumulating Strange Arts is really suitable for me!"

Ye Tian muttered to himself.

He prepared to purchase more Strange Arts and practice them all to the Consummation Realm; perhaps then there would be hope to comprehend the power of Artistic Conception.

Once he comprehended a power of Artistic Conception, his strength would undergo a heaven-shaking improvement.

Donghai University, Water Element office building.

Li Haoyang sat in his office, made a phone call, and hung up again very quickly.

"That little fellow Ye Tian actually cleared the eleventh floor of the Battle Tower. It seems this little fellow has terrifying talent in Strange Art cultivation. He must have mastered A-Grade Strange Arts to the Consummation Realm, and more than one, or perhaps he practiced an S-rank Strange Art to the Consummation Realm to have even a sliver of hope of clearing the eleventh floor of the Battle Tower with the cultivation of a Peak Esper."

Li Haoyang thought to himself.

However, no matter how monstrous Ye Tian was for now, as long as he had not comprehended the power of Artistic Conception, he was not worth Donghai University's attention.

In the past, there was no lack of students with terrifying combat power, but after reaching the Ability Master realm, they became mediocre, unable to comprehend Artistic Conception, and even after earning Battle Merit in the Underground Cave and exchanging for multiple opportunities to contemplate S-rank Treasures, they still could not comprehend Artistic Conception.

In the end, they were discouraged and became completely decadent.

Therefore, a genius who has not comprehended Artistic Conception is not a true genius, and what the future holds is still unknown.

The next day.

The Battle Tower results were refreshed, and the news of Ye Tian clearing the eleventh floor naturally could not be hidden.

In an instant, the freshmen were shocked.

"What, Ye Tian cleared the eleventh floor of the Battle Tower!!!!"

Qin Yu and the others were somewhat dumbfounded.

Clearing the tenth floor could earn ten thousand points, and clearing the eleventh floor of the Battle Tower could earn twenty thousand points.

He had thought that Ye Tian had only cleared the tenth floor, but it turned out he had cleared the eleventh floor.

In terms of strength, the gap between him and Ye Tian was too large.

It had to be said that he was a bit stimulated.

But soon, he regained his confidence.

"It's just clearing the eleventh floor; as long as one doesn't comprehend Artistic Conception for a day, it doesn't count for anything. Comprehending Artistic Conception is the true beginning. I have family help, so it will be easy to obtain quotas to contemplate S-rank Treasures in the future, while it will be very difficult for Ye Tian."

Thinking this way, he eased his mood slightly.

At ten o'clock in the morning, Donghai University announced the Newcomer King of the freshmen, and Ye Tian's name and photo were published on the official website.

And the rewards for the Newcomer King were also given to Ye Tian.

A point reward of ten thousand!

One A-rank Material!

One A-Grade Strange Art!

One quota for entry into the Underground Cave!

Of course, these rewards were not announced.

Resource Department of Donghai University.

Ye Tian came here to collect his rewards, mainly to comprehend an A-rank Material and an A-Grade Strange Art, which required Ye Tian to make his own choices.

"It's a pity they don't allow me to choose an A-rank Space Material!"

Ye Tian felt somewhat helpless.

If they had given him a Space Element material, he would have even been willing to downgrade to choose a B-Grade material, but Donghai University was too stingy.

In the end, Ye Tian chose an A-rank Fire Element Treasure—Glazed Fire!

Glazed Fire belongs to the category of strange fires; it can assist in cultivating Fire Element Techniques and can also be used for artifact refining and pill refining.

However, Donghai University does not have an artifact refining department or a pill refining department, mainly because the Strange Art cultivation system does not place importance on artifact refining or pill refining, but these two professions are very popular among the alien races in the Underground Cave.

Ye Tian chose Glazed Fire, naturally not for the purpose of pill refining or artifact refining, but to absorb Fire Power and raise his own Fire Talent Ability Potential to A-Grade!

Afterwards.

He also chose an A-Grade Fire Element Strange Art—Fire Dragon Cover, which is a Fire Element Strange Art that combines both defense and offense.

As for the entry quota for the Underground Cave, it was a Token, which Ye Tian also collected, along with an Underground Cave manual that introduced the situation regarding the Underground Cave, with a sentence written at the back—dissemination of Underground Cave knowledge is prohibited.

After collecting all the rewards, Ye Tian left the Resource Department and returned to his dormitory.

After returning.

Ye Tian opened the glazed bottle containing the Glazed Fire and touched the Glazed Fire with his hand.

Although the temperature was very high, Ye Tian could still barely endure it.

【Fire Power +1】

【Fire Power +1】

Seeing that he was absorbing Fire Power bit by bit and that his Fire Talent Ability Potential was slowly increasing, he was naturally in a great mood.

It seems that it won't be long before his Fire Talent Ability Potential can also reach A-Grade!
