Chapter 30: Decepticon Strike

Sun Cheng and the others waited for two days while lurking at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base alongside Onslaught, but there was no news from Starscream, and it was unclear what the situation was.

On the contrary, Laserbeak had sent him four remote communications over these two days.

Because of Starscream's previous instructions, Sun Cheng had never agreed to meet with him, and he even encrypted his own communication coordinates to avoid being tracked by Laserbeak.

However, he also kept his guard up and sent a reply to Laserbeak, telling him that he was currently being monitored by Barricade and it was difficult to find an opportunity to leave.

Of course, this communication was sent right in front of Onslaught.

The long wait finally ended on the third day when a remote communication arrived from Barricade.

He and Bonecrusher had arrived, and surprisingly, Reflector was with them; it seemed Starscream was determined to get the Nuclear Warhead at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base!

Having stayed with Onslaught for two days, he had initially thought this guy was easy to get along with, but he never expected this guy to be a typical Decepticon.

As a result, in those two days, Sun Cheng had tried to sneak into the base to look around several times, but was arrogantly refused by him each time, leaving him with no choice but to bore himself to death while lurking in the tunnel near the base with him.

Barricade, having been treated so rudely, immediately lost his temper as well. He pulled a weapon covered in spikes from his body and swung it fiercely at Onslaught, knocking him back a few steps. Then, with a ferocious look on his face, he growled, "Do you want to have a fight with me before the operation starts?"

"Hmph!"

Onslaught really did have a short temper and immediately entered combat mode.

It looked like they were going to have a fight before the operation had even begun.

Sun Cheng looked at Bonecrusher and found that this guy was standing to the side with great interest, showing no intention of intervening to stop them.

The farce was stopped by him. Reflector did not hide the disappointment on his face at all. Bonecrusher, however, looked at Barricade and then at Onslaught, saying: "Lord Starscream saved me, so I will help him complete this Task. Since you two aren't fighting anymore, let's arrange our respective tasks!"

Just as Onslaught was about to speak, he was impatiently interrupted by Bonecrusher: "I had enough of you back on Cybertron. Let him explain the plan; I don't even want to hear a word from you!"

After saying this, he pointed at Sun Cheng.

"That's right, let Frenzy do it!" Barricade immediately echoed, sneering at Onslaught, "The plan was proposed by Frenzy anyway, let him arrange it!"

Reflector looked disapproving. "I object..."

He pointed at Sun Cheng, practically jumping up, "Thinking of letting this grunt command me, don't even think about it..."

"Get lost..."

Onslaught kicked him flying, then stared viciously at Bonecrusher and Barricade for a while before snorting coldly, "Fine. If the Task fails, you can go tell Starscream yourselves..."

After saying this, he transformed back into his heavy truck form, and judging by the rumbling sound, it seemed he had even started the engine.

Sensing several gazes falling on him, Sun Cheng had no choice but to walk over and say: "The operation plan for today was indeed proposed by me. In a moment, we will split into two groups. One group will directly attack Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, while the other will be responsible for attacking another base nearby. Since none of you lords object, I will arrange the tasks!"

"Lord Barricade has the fastest speed. I hope you can go with Reflector to the other nearby base, destroy its support capabilities, and then rush here to support us!"

He looked at Onslaught and Bonecrusher again, then said, "Lord Bonecrusher's speed is not as fast as Lord Barricade's, so I hope you can join Lord Onslaught and me. The three of us will be responsible for attacking Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. This was probably the most reasonable arrangement at the moment, so Onslaught nodded directly, appearing quite satisfied with his arrangement.

However, the other two powerful Warriors besides him were very dissatisfied with this.

Barricade glared at Sun Cheng and was the first to express his dissatisfaction, "I want to stay here to ensure the operation doesn't go wrong!"

"I don't want to be with Onslaught either..." Bonecrusher also flatly rejected his arrangement.

Onslaught snorted coldly, and the look in his eyes when he looked at him was already somewhat off.

Sun Cheng could only shrug, "Alright then, the two lords' arrangements will be swapped. Lord Barricade, Lord Onslaught, and I will be responsible for this place, and Lord Bonecrusher and Reflector will go to destroy the other base!"

Bonecrusher agreed readily. After getting the coordinates from Barricade, he took Reflector with him and headed toward the other nearby military base.
