Chapter 35: The Arrival of Soundwave (Begging for follows and recommendations)

"Damn it, it's an Autobot!"

Onslaught looked into the distance with irritation, his eyes practically spitting fire.

Sun Cheng was not surprised by this; as far as he knew, these two extremely similar mechanical lifeforms, the Decepticons and the Autobots, had been fighting for millions of years to seize control of the planet Cybertron. They were mortal enemies, the kind who wished to destroy each other the moment they met.

However, what made him curious was, why would there be an Autobot on Earth?

"It's Bumblebee..."

Laserbeak tried to pursue for a while, but soon returned, clutching a small, constantly struggling Decepticon under his belly. It was none other than Reflector, who had been operating alongside Bonecrusher but had snuck away halfway through.

"Let me go, you 【Cassette Corps】 bastard..."

Although he was being held mid-air by Laserbeak, Reflector was not the least bit docile, and his mouth kept shouting arrogantly.

Onslaught was no fool. After retracting his large gun into his chassis, he turned his head to look at Reflector, his tone somewhat unkind, "Did you lead him here?"

Red light flickered incessantly in Reflector's eyes. Although he shut his mouth and stopped talking nonsense because of this, it undoubtedly confirmed that Onslaught's guess was correct. The reason they had suddenly encountered an Autobot, and had nearly taken a shot from the opponent, was entirely this bastard's fault.

Laserbeak was so angry that he violently dropped him from the air. Unfortunately, while this height caused the unprepared Reflector to fall flat on his face, that was all it did.

Onslaught likely found him annoying, so he snorted and transformed straight back into his heavy truck form, continuing to rush toward the location where Bonecrusher was calling for help.

Sun Cheng got into the vehicle, but instead of entering the cab, he sat on top of it.

Laserbeak did not land this time, instead circling in the sky, though it was unclear what he was thinking.

The group sped along, and before long, the sounds of gunfire, artillery, and explosions intensified.

"Prepare for combat..."

Seeing from afar that Bonecrusher was being wantonly strafed by a group of U. S. military aircraft from above, Onslaught roared an order, transformed into his humanoid form, raised his large gun, and fired a shot at an AH-1Z attack helicopter that was frantically bombarding Bonecrusher. He blasted it directly into a pile of scrap in mid-air, with the disintegrated aircraft parts scattering everywhere.

"Stay back..."

After Laserbeak gave him a warning, he immediately spread his wings, accelerated, and in a dash reached the side of an A-10 attack aircraft, his two machine guns under his belly firing wildly at its engine.

"Boom..."

Following the explosion of one engine, this A-10 attack aircraft, which had been suppressing Bonecrusher so fiercely he couldn't break free, finally lost its combat capability. After wobbling in the air for a while, it soon plummeted toward the ground.

The arrival of Onslaught and Laserbeak, two Decepticons with anti-air combat capabilities, undoubtedly relieved the siege on Bonecrusher.

This guy did not possess the ability to counterattack against air targets, and his speed was slow to boot. If the armor on his chassis hadn't been a specially enhanced alloy capable of withstanding most human heavy weapons, he wouldn't have lasted until reinforcements arrived.

Even so, Sun Cheng glanced at Bonecrusher from afar and found him in a miserable state. His chassis was covered in cracks, and the front half of his left arm had actually been blown off. It was evident that even a high-level Decepticon Warrior with off-the-charts individual combat power was not completely invincible.

"Damn it... damn it... these disgusting vermin..."

Watching the arrival of Onslaught and Laserbeak quickly turn the unfavorable situation around for him, Bonecrusher, lacking anti-air capabilities, could only stay on the ground and curse incessantly in a rage.

After blasting an F-16 Fighter Jet belonging to the United States National Guard into fragments in mid-air with one shot, Onslaught looked at the remaining few aircraft fleeing and shook his head, retracting his weapon, "Let's go, more reinforcements should be arriving soon; there's no time to delay..."

Bonecrusher grunted, but did not retort. It was clear that he and Onslaught didn't get along, but Bonecrusher obviously also understood that if he hadn't come to rescue him today, he might not have made it out of here.

Though he wanted to butt heads with the other, he lacked the confidence to do so, so he could only silently transform back into his armored mine-clearing vehicle form. Without even saying a word of thanks, he started the engine and drove off in the direction of Starscream's Base.

Onslaught probably guessed that this guy wouldn't thank him. He looked at Sun Cheng and Laserbeak and asked, "Are you two also planning to return to Starscream's Base?"

"No, Lord Onslaught, I believe that place is no longer safe!"

Before Sun Cheng could speak, Laserbeak had already landed and answered first with his sharp, thin electronic voice.

"Not stupid, at least!" Onslaught snorted lightly, looking at Bonecrusher, who had gradually disappeared from view, "I have a hideout in another location as well. Since Soundwave and the Autobots have both come, presumably the 【AllSpark】 is on Earth..."

"And Lord Megatron..."

Sun Cheng suddenly interjected.

Just now, as if struck by a flash of inspiration, a thought had suddenly popped into his head: Starscream, who had arrived on Earth decades ago, had very likely already confirmed that Megatron and the 【AllSpark】 were on Earth.

The evidence was actually not hard to find; when he had previously invaded the global internet, he had searched for quite a few Decepticon insignias and Cybertronian Script.

The reason this guy had never gone to look for Megatron was likely because he had plans to launch another rebellion. That was why Starscream needed a Nuclear Warhead, because for someone as powerful as Megatron, aside from existences of the same level, probably only a Nuclear Warhead could destroy him.

And when Barricade was partnered with him, he never mentioned the 【AllSpark】. It was likely that Starscream had already grasped some information regarding the 【AllSpark】 and wanted to swallow it alone, so as to use the power of the 【AllSpark】 to create an army for himself.

Of course, these were all things he had barely pieced together using the intelligence he had currently mastered.

There were still many things here that Sun Cheng couldn't figure out, such as why Starscream had to take the initiative to expose his own base to Soundwave, attempting to lure him to Earth?

Onslaught looked at him without speaking.

After he silently transformed back into his heavy truck form, he urged, "We should leave too..."

"Yes!"

Laserbeak flapped his wings and flew up, soon ascending to the high sky to circle.

Sun Cheng looked at him with some envy, then sighed and climbed into Onslaught's cab.

"Snap!"

The moment the door closed, the blue light in his eyes suddenly flickered. Just a moment ago, Laserbeak had suddenly sent him an encrypted communication, telling Sun Cheng that Soundwave had already learned of what had happened on Earth and would arrive from the Moon Base immediately.

Thinking of Soundwave, who had already been set up by Starscream using his own hands, about to arrive, and thinking of the original fate of the resurrected 'Frenzy', his mood, which had just become relaxed because he had temporarily escaped Starscream's sight, suddenly became heavy again.
