Chapter 725: Four Major Projects

"Recently, we Autobots are considering heading to the Moon again to investigate; would you like to join us?"

Optimus Prime had the idea of bringing Sun Cheng along to land on the Moon and investigate.

Sun Cheng was indeed somewhat tempted by this!

He had cooperated with Starscream tacitly several times; even Soundwave and Astrotrain had been ambushed and killed under their cooperation.

However, regarding Starscream, Sun Cheng had no trust at all, only wariness.

The Autobots are fine; with Optimus Prime and the Matrix of Leadership, even if casualties occur, they can recover quickly.

Sun Cheng does not have the Matrix of Leadership, and the several Warriors under his command have only just begun to replace their New Bodies, which is conservatively estimated to take at least three to four months to complete.

As for his own New Body, it will likely take about another year.

Optimus Prime frowned; he admitted that what Sun Cheng said made sense.

But his teacher Sentinel Prime and his lieutenant Bumblebee had likely both fallen into the hands of the Decepticons, which made him unable to calm down at all.

He was silent for a while before sighing and shifting the topic elsewhere.

While it was called the inauguration ceremony of New Iacon, it was actually just Optimus Prime gathering the Autobots who had already arrived on Earth in the Council Hall to deliver a rather impassioned speech.

Sun Cheng himself was fine; he knew of the hatred between the Decepticons and the Autobots that had spanned millions of years, so he simply acted as if he didn't see them.

Thunder and Hailishi performed much worse than him, especially Hailishi.

This Decepticon, who was born on Earth and had not experienced the Cybertronian Civil War, found the hostility toward the Autobots somewhat inexplicable.

The speech did not last long; after it was declared over, the Autobots held a rather grand celebration.

Sun Cheng did not participate in it; their identity as Decepticons made them feel quite uncomfortable staying here in New Iacon.

He had originally wanted to take the opportunity to talk to Optimus Prime and exchange for more Matrix of Leadership energy, but because he could not provide more detailed intelligence on the Moon, and furthermore refused Optimus Prime's proposal to join forces to land on the Moon for an investigation, he could only shelve this idea for the time being.

The short trip to New Iacon caused the sense of crisis that had just faded for over a month to strike him again.

Sun Cheng had a feeling that perhaps he should prepare for the worst.

After a year and a half of expansion in South America, Base No. 2 was now operating behind the scenes, controlling several countries.

Whether it was the Decepticon Workers or the various robots driven by the Workers, they all possessed physical qualities that humans could not compare to.

Because of this, the mineral resources buried in various remote valleys, outlying areas, and complex environments in South America had been vigorously developed.

Almost every day, at least tens of thousands of tons of various minerals were excavated, then sent to dozens of Sub-bases controlled by Base No. 2, smelted, and made into components, before being sent back to the Base No. 2 headquarters through various transport channels for final assembly, where they were made into various mechanical equipment and even robots.

After Sun Cheng issued the order for Base No. 2 to operate at full capacity, the more than twenty Decepticon Engineers, over three hundred Workers, and various industrial robots with a total scale exceeding one hundred thousand under his command, as if a switch had been flipped, immediately began operating at full speed.

Currently, Base No. 2 is simultaneously carrying out four major projects: "Total Promotion," "New Body," "Mars Exploration Project," and "Replica Warrior Cultivation."
