Chapter 659: I haven't even made a move, and you

That afternoon, the You Mingyue Studio, You Mingyue's Weibo, and the Weibo accounts of all the actors in "Mountain Village Old Corpse" all posted a poster.

It was a celebratory poster for breaking 200 million on the opening day.

This is a convention in the Blue Star film circle.

For one, it is to celebrate.

For another, this is also a disguised form of promotion.

This made a group of filmmakers extremely jealous, with immense envy in their hearts.

Look at "Mountain Village Old Corpse," they could post a celebratory poster on the entire internet on the second day of release!

And it was another case of using a small investment to win big!

The total investment for "Mountain Village Old Corpse" was no more than 20 million, and it had already taken over ten times that in box office on the first day.

In other words, this film broke even on the first day.

Everything else is pure profit!

The cinema owners laughed like crazy and tacitly increased the screening rate for this film.

At the same time, You Mingyue's friends in the industry also posted congratulatory Weibo posts one after another.

If you don't suck up now, when will you?

Even stars who were complete strangers to the twins but wanted to hug their golden thighs followed suit.

And so...

A very strange scene appeared on the internet.

Whether in the music scene or the film and television circle, many stars were congratulating a horror film for breaking 200 million at the box office.

The style was very bizarre.

Of course, if the results aren't up to standard, one would be embarrassed to post such a celebratory poster.

For example, "Person in the Painting" and "Dragon City," both of these films had opening day box office results over 100 million, but neither posted a celebratory poster.

In terms of directors, actor status, and film investment, they crushed "Mountain Village Old Corpse" in every aspect, but the opening day box office was not as high as "Mountain Village Old Corpse," so they really didn't know what to celebrate; posting it would just lead to being mocked by the crowd.

What's even more miserable is...

The cinema side even slightly lowered the screening rates for these two films.

Capital always chases profit.

Whoever makes more money, they stand on that side.

On the contrary, the fourth-place film at the opening box office also posted a celebratory poster; the investment for this film was not high, only about 40 million or so, and an opening day box office of over 90 million can be said to have already broken even, with the remaining money being profit.

This afternoon, many filmmakers had no heart to play.

Because today is Saturday, "Mountain Village Old Corpse" has the potential to create a new daily box office record.

And at Zhu Xudan's home, Youyue received a call from a studio employee.

Don't ask why they are at Zhu Xudan's place; the answer is that friendship needs maintenance.

Lin Yan was also here.

The first wife and second wife also need time to be watered.

"Okay, I understand." Youyue hung up the phone and shook her head with a smile.

Floating in the entertainment industry, how can one not get stabbed.

And here it is, the knife has arrived.

Zhu Xudan, who was playing serious poker with Youyue, Mingyue, and Lin Yan, sensed something unusual and couldn't help but ask: "What's wrong?".

Come to think of it, Zhu Xudan felt that playing poker with this pair of twins was super lacking in experience.

These two sisters seemed to have some kind of telepathy, cooperating very tacitly when playing cards, and she was almost played to death by them.

"Nothing, just that someone might be jealous of the box office and hired internet trolls to cause trouble online." Youyue said.

Mingyue smiled slightly.

She didn't seem to have offended many people in the entertainment industry; it was highly likely that the capital behind those few films released in the same period was playing tricks.

This is a common occurrence in the entertainment industry.

Not only between stars, between stars and capital, but even between capital and capital, they often tear at each other and use underhanded means in secret. ===== CHAPTER 660 =====
