Chapter 660

Especially in the film industry, this situation is not uncommon.

Some people are just like that; they can't stand to see others doing well.

If you do well, it's even more uncomfortable for them than if they themselves were making big money.

In addition, it is also for the screening and box office of their own films.

"Among the Olympic support songs already released, it seems there are no Cantonese songs, right?"

During some popular seasons, you can often see some small films go from one screening a day at the very beginning to one screening every two or three days, and finally fade out of theaters without making much of a splash.

The film circle is also a place where big fish eat small fish.

Smearing a film and affecting its word-of-mouth has become their common tactic.

Therefore, some blockbusters will specifically prepare a large sum of 【word-of-mouth maintenance fees】.

Some even prepare hundreds of millions in funds for maintenance.

There are also underhanded means such as stealing film sources, leading to leaks.

The young girl keeps a very tight watch on this aspect, so there is no situation of film source leaks.

But she has sufficient confidence in the word-of-mouth of "Mountain Village Old Corpse," so she didn't prepare any word-of-mouth maintenance fees.

Giving white, shiny silver to internet trolls, how heartbreaking that would be.

"This is indeed a very serious matter." Lin Yan said with a flushed face.

Why she was blushing... who knows.

Although she hadn't entered the entertainment industry, as one of the executives of Jiaxing, she was very clear about the consequences caused by such things.

"I'll go call on the fans to help." Zhu Xudan said anxiously; this was the only way she could think of to help You Mingyue.

Youyue grabbed Zhu Xudan's hand, shook her head, and said: "No need to be so troublesome."

There is a saying that goes well: bad publicity is still publicity.

Moreover, the studio staff had already told her that the matter seemed to have taken a strange turn.

Online, the Baiyue Sect and the audience who had seen "Mountain Village Old Corpse" had already started a fierce confrontation with those black trolls.

Overall, her side had already gained the upper hand without even making a move.

On the side.

Mingyue unlocked her phone and handed it to Zhu Xudan to see.......

You could see that under every negative comment from trolls on Weibo, there were hundreds or thousands of comments helping to explain for "Mountain Village Old Corpse," while also including national essence.

Someone said "The values of 'Mountain Village Old Corpse' are incorrect," and immediately someone replied: "Aunt Chu is teaching you not to be a heartless man, not to cheat, and that one cannot be too Bu Wantian."

Someone said "The film's special effects are poor," and someone replied: "You want to talk to me about blockbuster special effects in a horror film? I suggest you go to the hospital for a checkup."

All such things, and many more.

These people trying to stir up trouble not only failed to lower the word-of-mouth of "Mountain Village Old Corpse," but instead made the film's popularity higher and higher, saving a large sum of promotion fees.

No internet trolls are more powerful than organic fans.

The twins have plenty of organic fans.

However, when the young girl saw the word "special effects," her mind was moved.

"Special effects?"

Mingyue's beautiful eyes looked at Zhu Xudan.

"Darling, do you have time to act in a film?"

This "darling" made Lin Yan roll her eyes; humph, these two big pig trotters!

As for Zhu Xudan, she automatically omitted the three words "darling" and was overjoyed by the second half of Mingyue's sentence.

"Yes! Must have!" She nodded hurriedly; this was You Mingyue's film, after all; there were countless people in the industry who wanted to act but didn't have the opportunity, and she would be a fool not to act.

Sure enough, sucking up is still useful.

Although it is very exhausting to suck up to two people every time, there is a reward for the effort!

Youyue and Mingyue looked at each other and smiled slightly.

The next film is Resident Evil.

Besides the female lead, which they would play themselves, there was another female character with a very heavy role.

That is the heroic female mercenary in the film.

This role is very suitable for Zhu Xudan.

Although they had once thought about not using the Jiaxing "all-in-one bucket," Lu Xun once said, don't let the fertile water flow into outsiders' fields!

Just Zhu Xudan alone, it doesn't matter.

Online.

Netizens retorting to the trolls instead made countless onlookers more interested in this film.

The screenings for "Mountain Village Old Corpse" were basically packed every time.

This again stunned countless filmmakers, making them envious, jealous, and hateful; never had a horror film been able to become popular to this extent, but they didn't expect You Mingyue to have done it.

What makes people even more jealous is... now this film has long since broken even, and every bit of box office increase is pure profit!

Looking at "Person in the Painting" and "Dragon City," these two films with 300 million investments, including cinema splits, promotion expenses, etc., generally require 1 billion in box office to break even.

For a time, it actually gave people a very miserable feeling.

Especially in contrast to the high box office results of "Mountain Village Old Corpse."

If this continues, whether these two films can break even will be a question mark. ===== CHAPTER 661 =====
