Chapter 801

……

And on the internet.

It is filled everywhere with the excited discussions of gamers and the sourness of countless players who didn't manage to grab a code.

"This game is toxic! I played for two hours and didn't feel tired at all; instead, the more I played, the more excited I got."

"Addicted to parachuting and can't pull myself away. Fine, I won't admit that I was killed by someone not long after entering the battlefield!"

"Scavenging for twenty minutes, dying in one second upon meeting someone—this is too f***ing much!"

"Can you believe it? I actually got blown up by the divine punishment bombing four times! Damn it!"

"Someone killed by You Mingyue passing through; I can brag about this for a lifetime!"

"Calling out You Mingyue! As the game planners and bosses, can you guys not be so underhanded? If it really doesn't work, wouldn't it be simpler to just hack for yourselves?"

"Played over a dozen rounds and deeply suspect I am the 'box spirit' incarnate. I become a box every round, and there are even times I land and immediately become a box. Speechless, I'm crying at my own stupidity."

"Don't you dare believe the nonsense that this game is super fun. How fun can a parachuting simulator be?"

"What I like is the freedom of this game. You can recklessly attack anyone you see, or you can use your brain to experience the joy of ambushing people, or you can coordinate with teammates... This is a game with so many ways to play, it's incredibly addictive."

"You Mingyue's planning ability is unrivaled."

"……"

Netizens are discussing excitedly.

Of course, not everyone likes this game; just like aesthetics, everyone's standards are different. But overall, this game has successfully attracted the attention of most netizens.

……

The young lady live-streamed over a dozen sessions in a row, then put the game aside and ended the stream.

To them, games are just a seasoning and a means for them to earn money.

Mid-March.

The film crews were successively assembled and headed to the filming locations to shoot.

This time, it was still a division of labor between the twins.

Youyue is responsible for the filming of "The Number One in the World" this time.

Mingyue is responsible for the filming of "One Man's Wu Lin".

……

Time passes in a hurry.

In the blink of an eye.

It is April 1st.

Today is a very special day.

It is not just April Fool's Day.

First, the game "PUBG", planned by You Mingyue and developed by the Polaris Company, will officially enter open beta today.

Second, the movie You Mingyue released during the Spring Festival slot, after various delays, was finally pulled from theaters yesterday, and today is the day the final box office figures are announced.

For game fans, the former is definitely the most important; watching those streamers and lucky ones show off in this game during the first ten days of March had long since ignited the fire in their hearts.

As for the latter, it is also being watched by countless netizens and industry insiders. Ever since the box office of "Resident Evil" crossed four billion, it was almost a certainty that this movie would enter the top ten in the history of Chinese cinema.

The only difference is exactly which position in the top ten it will occupy.

And this will be revealed today.

At noon.

An entertainment news item quietly rushed onto the hot search list. Three minutes and one second later, it hit number one on the hot search, and subsequently shocked the entire internet!

【You Mingyue's "Resident Evil" final box office 5.037 billion, ranking third in Chinese film history!】

The news is not long, and the content is not much, but it is heavy enough!

In an instant, the internet was like a nuclear explosion; it boiled over.

"Five billion for one movie! My god!"

"Holy crap! Wife is awesome! Please keep me!"

"Third in film history!"

"And you call this not knowing how to make commercial films?"

"Too strong!"

"Too perverted!"

"Unrivaled, Ms. Xu!"

"My family contributed five tickets in total, but to be fair, it was indeed very good; the ticket price was worth it!"

"……"

Not everyone pays close attention to box office figures, so when netizens learned the final box office of this movie, they were all stunned.

And within the entertainment industry, stars and peers in the film and television circle were equally shocked beyond measure!

They understand better than netizens the difficulty of achieving this box office result.
