Chapter 11: 11 The Delusional Seaman of the Star Cluster
After the evacuation notice was issued, the villagers of Yuki Village immediately retreated to a distance.
The leader of the biker gang, upon hearing the notice, scowled: “What a drag.”
They drove into the flow of evacuees but remained brutally reckless, refusing to slow down even when people blocked the road: “Get out of the way or get run over!”
The villagers, seeing these five local bullies, could only swallow their anger and step aside to let them pass.
This made the five bikers puff up with pride: “They fear monsters—and they fear us too. That’s right, we’re monsters too—monsters with human bodies!”
“Boss, look! It’s that little monster!” At that moment, someone on the right spotted Yuki, who was evacuating with a Seaman toy in her pocket.
“Hmph, this bastard. I bet these two monsters came because of her. Let’s make a mess!” The leader revved his motorcycle toward her.
Yuki, hearing that nightmare voice, panicked and dodged sideways: “Why? Why won’t you leave me alone even now?”
“You summoned the monsters and ruined our fun—of course we have to settle scores with you.” The others laughed loudly; one of them slammed his motorcycle into Yuki, knocking her to the ground.
Everyone was busy fleeing for their lives now, so no one would intervene—making them even more brazen.
Agony surged through her right shoulder, nearly causing her to faint.
“Shhh…” A cold wind swept past—[Wu] appeared!
Seeing the scene before her, [Wu] let out a furious roar and charged toward the five bikers.
“Boss, what do we do! That [Wu] seems to be here for her—could she really be her mother?!” One of them panicked at the sight of the massive monster.
“Hmph, as long as we have the girl, [Wu] won’t dare attack.” The leader grabbed Yuki’s ankle: “Miss Yuki, you’re badly hurt. With the monster here, you can’t run. Let me give you a ride.”
With that, he restarted his motorcycle—and began dragging Yuki along the ground!
“Roar!” [Wu] grew even angrier at this sight, but seemed restrained, refraining from direct attack—only chasing relentlessly.
On the other side, the four members of Victory Team who had been attacking Zadra and Tadon heard news of [Wu] appearing in Yuki Village—their expressions changed.
Far worse than three monsters uniting on the snowy mountain to face them was this: monsters appearing in separate locations, forcing them to split their forces.
“It’s all that guy’s fault—he messed everything up, and now it’s beyond repair!” Yamaguchi growled.
“Enough. Say less and focus on getting through this together!” Seijin Corps commanded.
In his view, Qi Ming’s actions were correct—but Nishijo Nagi and the others were not wrong either.
It was merely their mutual animosity, combined with magnetic fog disrupting coordination, that turned two small problems into a major one.
“Retreat to Yuki Village—prioritize protecting the civilians there!” Seijin Corps ordered. The two Hibari-1s abandoned their attack on Zadra and Tadon and turned back.
But Zadra and Tadon clearly refused to let the two Hibari-1s escape—they chased after them relentlessly.
“They call the monster in Yuki Village [Wu]?” Qi Ming was surprised to hear this.
In his memory, whether from the original Ultraman or Ultraman Ace, [Wu] was always a parent transformed to protect their child.
…………………………
“Shhh!” The two Hibari-1s, upon returning to Yuki Village and spotting [Wu], immediately fired green Spike Cannons into its back.
[Wu] cried out in pain; the bikers laughed heartily: “See that, Yuki? Victory Team’s going to blast your mother into oblivion!”
“We didn’t do anything wrong—why are they treating us like this?!” In that moment, Yuki’s heart filled with hatred.
The Seaman toy in her pocket glowed with blue-white light, floated upward, and rapidly expanded.
“Ultraman Seaman” appeared before everyone’s eyes.
“Impossible!” The bikers stared in shock—they had seen the toy transform in real time.
“Ultraman Seaman, I give you my life—please, destroy those bikers.” These were Yuki’s final words before fainting from exhaustion.
The next instant, “Ultraman Seaman” stretched his arms forward like a zombie, charging toward the five bikers with murderous intent.
“No good! He’s coming for us!”
“Using the little monster as a hostage won’t work anymore—run!”
The bikers panicked and scattered in all directions.
“Ultraman Seaman appeared—he must be going to fight the monster!” Seeing Seaman, Yamaguchi’s mood lifted instantly.
Meanwhile, Seijin Corps, watching the live feed from command, widened his eyes in stunned disbelief.
Qi Ming, upon hearing the news, paused for a moment, then pulled out his PDI communicator: “Captain?”
Seijin Corps: “I’m here.”
So it’s not the real one.
“Wait—something’s wrong. Ultraman Seaman isn’t going after [Wu]. He’s chasing the five motorcyclists.” Emi sensed something off.
Seaman. Chasing motorcycles.
The moment those two keywords clicked, Qi Ming understood.
It must be a [Delusional Seaman] born from negative energy.
“Seaman’s still chasing me—damn it!” The bikers, seeing Ultraman relentlessly pursuing them, grew desperate.
“Damn it! Let’s ride into a crowded area. If this Seaman crashes into buildings or steps on civilians, Victory Team will have to deal with him!” The gang leader declared.
The others, equally unconcerned about dragging innocents into danger, acted immediately to save themselves.
Meanwhile, the Delusional Seaman moved stiffly, only advancing in straight lines, ignoring buildings, crushing villagers’ homes as he pursued the bikers.
“My home!”
“Don’t come near! Help!”
The fleeing crowd panicked—they hadn’t expected danger to follow them even away from the snowy mountain.
“Good heavens! Ultraman Seaman’s causing destruction!” Victory Team stared in disbelief.
“It’s probably not the real Seaman—wasn’t there once an alien that created a mechanical Seaman that looked identical?” Qi Ming’s voice came through the communicator.
“Qi Ming!” Seijin Corps called out.
“I’m here.” Qi Ming’s calm tone brought reassurance.
“Roar!” On the other side, wild beast roars echoed through the spreading magnetic fog.
Zadra and Tadon, having chased the two Victory Hibari-1s, arrived—and together with the Delusional Seaman and [Wu], they surrounded the fleeing villagers!
Nishijo Nagi: “Quadruple assault!”
As the Delusional Seaman’s foot was about to crush the fleeing crowd, Qi Ming lightly pressed a button—the mechanism on his wrist’s Anykey rose: “I’ll have to stop him first.”
He rotated the dial—the silhouette of Seaman appeared on the screen.
“Under the same conditions, there’s no reason I should be worse than anyone else.”
His finger tapped the dial, pressing down the mechanism.
A silver-white light surged skyward—Qi Ming transformed into Ultraman Seaman.
He immediately delivered a Iron Mountain Shoulder Bash, sending the Delusional Seaman flying aside.
Yamaguchi: “Look! Another Ultraman Seaman!”
Kishida: “Who’s the real Seaman?”
Seijin Corps, hearing this, wore a complex expression.
