Chapter 344: The Death of the Queen of Tera (Fourth Update, Requesting Monthly Tickets)

~10 min read 1,960 words

The Queen of Tera was completely unaware of what awaited her moments later, continuing confidently:

"I just felt Kuin's sorrow alongside Shōhei!"

"Kuin is likely another victim! Even if you forbid it, I must meet it—I must understand its true thoughts."

Hmm… yes, in *Primordial Origins*, the Queen of Tera did exactly this.

She had already been tricked once, suffering great loss, yet as soon as Kuin used the ploy of self-harm, she immediately lost her composure—seeing Kuin beaten hurt her more than seeing her own subjects die.

She forgot her wounds instantly, claiming ideals demanded courage, and once again became the War God to seek out Kuin, falling once more under its puppet poison.

But in this world… her wounds hadn't even healed before she began acting out again.

The War God stepped forward to intervene, but the moment the Queen of Tera moved, searing pain ripped through her right leg. She staggered forward and crashed helplessly to the ground.

She struggled to rise, but the agony from Qi Ming's earlier wounds kept washing through her body, leaving her unable to gather even a fraction of strength.

"Drown in your ideals then," Qi Ming glanced down at her, charging up the Zai Perio Ray and firing it straight into the defenseless 【Vielian】.

"Shhh!" The milky-white beam struck true—the 【Vielian】 stiffened, then exploded violently.

A green light point emerged, sucked into the Ultraman Arbitrary Key, converting into 1 Star Gift.

The Queen of Tera's heart clenched at the sight.

Another life has just ended before my eyes.

"Next, it's your turn," Qi Ming said, turning to the Queen of Tera. "No matter how noble your intentions, causing chaos on Earth ends like this."

The next instant, Qi Ming appeared before the War God and delivered a brutal uppercut straight to her abdomen.

"Ugh!" The Queen of Tera gasped sharply, her stomach convulsing with pain as her body curled into a shrimp-like ball.

Qi Ming followed with a whipping kick to her waist—she screamed like a creature beyond human, rolling across the ground like a broken doll, darkness flashing before her eyes from the agony.

"DiGa, what are you doing? Stop!" Shōhei shouted, unable to bear the sight.

Even if she won't listen, how could you hit her this hard!

Sharing her pain, he soon felt the same heart-rending agony, writhing helplessly on the ground.

"Shōhei, don't go near her—just now, your Queen aided the alien! DiGa probably sees him as an enemy!" Yuji desperately held him back.

In truth, ordinary citizens couldn't hear their conversation—they saw the War God intervene against DiGa, assumed she was DiGa's enemy, the enemy of peace, and thought the beating was justified.

"Good hit, fool who doesn't know his place," Nami Nishijo, helping evacuate civilians, knew the truth and believed the Queen of Tera deserved it.

On the field, DiGa landed another elbow strike to the War God's back, sending her crashing flat to the ground.

"Goodbye, Queen of Tera. Take one last look at this world." With that, Qi Ming gathered energy into his right palm and brought down a sharp blade strike on the War God's shoulder—she disintegrated.

The unconscious Queen of Tera appeared on the grass, DiGa holding her in his right hand.

Then DiGa gestured—several green lights were drawn from the 【Vielian】's spaceship, and with them, he flew off into the distance.

"Wait! Where is Ultraman taking Queen Tera?!" Captain Shinra cried out in panic.

……………………………………

Thirty seconds later, TPC's oceanic base.

Qi Ming, still in civilian form and wearing a gas mask, held the flower left by the 【Vielian】 in his left hand and pushed a gurney carrying the unconscious Queen of Tera, requisitioning a laboratory.

"Minister Yin, seal off this area. No one enters until I come out."

"Understood." Minister Yin of Security immediately mobilized personnel.

Once safety was confirmed, Qi Ming closed the door and stared at the sleeping Queen of Tera, arranging the 【Vielian】's flower around her.

Green pollen drifted naturally, drawn into her body.

Qi Ming pulled out the instruction manual: "."

"Farewell, Queen of Tera, who spoke endlessly of ideals and peace but always stood beside the villains."

Half an hour later, Qi Ming used the 【Vielian】's device to scan the Queen of Tera's brain, confirming the memory erasure was complete.

Good. The Queen of Tera is now a blank slate—she might as well be brain-dead.

The next moment, she opened her eyes—her gaze utterly hollow.

This reminded Qi Ming of what Reporter Nezumi said to Mugen in *Nexus* Episode 16, "Lost": "Do you know what losing your memories means? Everything you've lived through vanishes!"

"Vanishes? Good. Old gone, new comes."

Qi Ming connected the device, shaped like a USB drive, to the Queen of Tera's head and began uploading new memories.

"You are the Queen of Tera from Gannon Star. You can transform into the mighty giant, the War God."

"You must obey Qi Ming's orders unconditionally and stand firmly by his side."

"When facing evil, strike back decisively and protect your people…"

As Qi Ming's new memories flowed in, the Queen of Tera's eyes opened—her hollow gaze slowly regained light.

……………………………………

"No!" Beneath the Tree of Life, Shōhei jolted awake, gritting his teeth against the pain: "Queen Tera! Queen Tera—what's happening?!"

"What's wrong? Can you sense where Queen Tera is?" Captain Shinra asked urgently.

"My bond with Queen Tera is fading! I can feel—she's disappearing!" Shōhei sounded like he was about to cry.

"Huh?" Yuji froze.

Rikka panicked too—what did it mean, "Queen Tera is disappearing"?

Did that Qi Ming really kill Queen Tera? This Ultraman is too ruthless!

She grabbed Shōhei's shoulders: "Snap out of it! Take us to Queen Tera right now!"

"Y-yes!" Shōhei, enduring the pain, led everyone at top speed to TPC.

Minister Yin stepped forward to block them: "No entry."

Shōhei clutched his head: "Queen Tera… she's right ahead… no!"

A cracking sound in his mind made him scream.

He felt it clearly—the spiritual bond between him and Queen Tera had been severed completely.

How could this happen… how could this happen!

Captain Shinra moved to advance, but Minister Yin raised a hand—five security members instantly raised their guns, aiming at Shinra's group. Facing the dark muzzles, they dared not move—they weren't Qi Ming, and couldn't withstand this firepower.

"What do we do? Should we find Captain Moroboshi? He seems kind, or maybe 【Kai】?" Rikka pleaded, looking to Captain Shinra.

"They're both away right now…" Captain Shinra knew help was too far—only they could act now.

Just as he decided to take a risk, the door behind Minister Yin opened—every eye snapped to it.

Qi Ming emerged, alongside the Queen of Tera, limping with a cane.

"Queen Tera! You're alright? Thank goodness!" Rikka cried out in relief.

Only Captain Shinra sensed something was off.

Eyes are windows to the soul—but Queen Tera's gaze… it was different now.

Too sharp. A true monarch's aura radiated from her.

"I'm fine," Qi Ming told Minister Yin, who saluted him and led the security team away.

"Queen Tera! Are you alright?" Shōhei staggered toward her, ignoring his pain.

Cold light flashed in the Queen of Tera's eyes—just as Shōhei lunged, she lifted her uninjured left leg and drove a brutal knee straight into his abdomen.

"Ugh!" Shōhei's eyes bulged—he vomited acid, collapsed to his knees, face instantly pale.

The blow struck his already wounded abdomen—pain stole his voice. He gasped like a stranded fish, mouth open, body convulsing silently, his suffering deepened tenfold.

"Impudent fool!" The Queen of Tera sneered. Everyone stared, stunned.

Hadn't she just been so tender with this Shōhei? How could she turn on him so suddenly?

The Queen of Tera turned coldly to Captain Shinra and Rikka: "Were you blind just now? Why didn't you guard me?"

The tone—reprimanding a servant—left Shinra and Rikka exchanging bewildered glances.

This aggressive, domineering voice was unrecognizable from before.

How could she change so completely in such a short time?

"Enough, Tera," Qi Ming waved a hand. "Don't blame them—they don't yet know you're a new person."

The Queen of Tera placed her left hand over her chest and bowed to Qi Ming in a knight's salute: "Yes, Lord Qi Ming."

Lord Qi Ming?

Shinra and Rikka's jaws nearly dropped—why would Queen Tera show such reverence to the man who twice crippled her and blocked her "ideal"?

Something is wrong.

"Queen Tera… what happened? Why?" Shōhei struggled to lift his head, staring at her.

"What happened is none of your business," the Queen of Tera replied, her gaze filled with revulsion.

"I can explain," Qi Ming said, patting Captain Shinra's shoulder. "You've always been frustrated that Queen Tera acted recklessly, never using her power properly, always causing chaos, right?"

Captain Shinra nodded slowly: "Queen Tera does have immature tendencies… but I believed she would grow…"

Qi Ming cut him off: "Grow? What's the cost of growth? Can she truly grow? Impossible."

"Her vortex-like, hollow thinking is fixed. To end her mistakes, you must change her at the root."

Rikka realized: "At the root?"

Qi Ming coughed: "Do you know what 'factory reset' means? Or put another way—reinstall the system. I just wiped her memories."

"Factory reset!" Shōhei, lying like a dead dog on the ground, trembled inside.

Qi Ming smiled: "Yes. She's forgotten everything from her past."

"But don't worry—I never leave loose ends. I've just implanted new memories—her identity, her duties."

He clapped his hands and asked: "Tera, what is your current duty?"

The Queen of Tera's eyes flashed with light:

"Of course, we restore our injuries as quickly as possible, and when Kuen and Dr. Caiqi arrive, we'll tear them apart with the power of the War God."

"These creatures dare invade Gannon and slaughter our people—they must pay with blood for every drop of blood they've spilled."

"Lord Qi Ming is our savior of Gannon. If any other threat arises on Earth against you, I will deal with it for you."

Qi Ming snapped his fingers: "Perfect. That's the true queen of Gannon."

Queen Amaterasu stretched her body with none of the grace of a lady: "I have no idea when these legs will heal. I must recover quickly—if I don't, I won't be fit for combat."

Qi Ming said: "You can ask Team Leader Zhuxing—he has experience."

He turned to Senra and Tachibana, frozen in shock: "Look—Gannon now has a devoted queen, Earth has a loyal ally who knows how to repay kindness, and the War God's bloodline now has a reliable wielder. A world without casualties—achieved!"

But was there truly no one injured...?

Although Captain Senra and Tachibana had repeatedly hoped Queen Amaterasu would mature and fulfill her royal duties,

when this moment arrived, both felt a tangled confusion, unsure what expression to wear before this new Queen Amaterasu.

And on the ground, Shōhei was utterly despairing.

Memory shapes character, and determines who you are.

Qi Ming erased Queen Amaterasu's memories—equivalent to deleting her past personality, or even her soul.

The Queen before them was nothing more than a humanoid weapon occupying her former body.

His Queen Amaterasu is dead!

That delicate, sensitive, melancholic queen, who threw herself into the cause of peace—she was gone forever!

Overwhelmed by the crushing blow, Shōhei's head slammed hard against the cold floor, and he fainted dead away.

"What the hell is this guy? A mad dog escaped from an asylum?" Queen Amaterasu rolled her eyes.
