Chapter 467

~5 min read 903 words

While Qi Ming was intimidating and torturing the two secret investigators… oh no, the two Pit Star female agents, [Xiang] was walking along a shaded path.

His keen intuition told him something was watching him.

“How long are you going to follow me? What do you want?” [Xiang] turned around. “But sneaking around like this? You clearly don’t intend to talk peacefully.”

“Shh!” A short-haired woman in ancient attire leapt down from the tree: “My name is Yang Ai. I am an exiled Victorean.”

[Xiang] frowned at the crystal pendant on her chest—the same as his own: “Stop pretending. The Victorean Sanctuary never exiled its own.”

Hearing this, Yang Ai’s eyes flashed with fury: “What did you say? You don’t even know of our people’s existence?”

[Xiang] activated the crystal pendant on his chest, but hers remained utterly unresponsive.

[Xiang]: “Obviously not. If you were my kin, your pendant would have reacted.”

Yang Ai gritted her teeth: “Isn’t it because you stole our Victorean people’s power that we’re like this now!”

[Xiang] remained unmoved: “Have you finished? There are no other Victoreans outside the Sanctuary.”

Yang Ai exploded in rage: “I’ve heard you’re despicable—turns out every rumor is true!”

She launched an attack, engaging [Xiang] in combat; he was caught off guard, and the Victorean Torch hidden in his chest was snatched away!

With the Victorean Torch in hand, Yang Ai aimed it directly at [Xiang] and fired.

[Xiang]’s eyes widened in shock—this woman could use the Victorean Torch, which only recognized Victoreans were meant to wield!

Who exactly is she…?

Facing the blast, [Xiang] dove flat, rolling several times across the ground.

When he rose, Yang Ai had vanished—with his Victorean Torch.

[Xiang]’s face turned grim.

……………………………………

Meanwhile, inside the Pit Star rb’s spacecraft. (In official canon, the specific name of the Rexon is unknown; “rb” is appended to their race name.)

Yang Ai returned with the Victorean Torch to report: “I reclaimed it myself.”

The Pit Star rb beamed: “Excellent. Aytalg’s demand is fulfilled. Next time we attack, no Victorean will interfere.”

Yang Ai’s expression darkened: “Those bastards erased every trace of our people—I will never forgive them!”

The Pit Star rb held up the Battle Device and laughed: “Relax. I’m launching the attack now. Your vengeance is moments away.”

……………………………………

[Xiang] reluctantly reported to Queen Qishala about the theft of the Victorean Torch; she was deeply startled.

[Xiang]: “Your Majesty, do you know of the exiled Victoreans? Who exactly is she?”

Qishala: “Exiled Victoreans… could this be about the legendary war…?”

Suddenly, she recalled something, her expression turning complex.

The next moment, Shepaton beside Queen Qishala let out a long cry, transmitting an ancient memory directly into the minds of Qishala and [Xiang].

The memory was chaotic: first, a little girl sat atop Shepaton’s back, laughing joyfully—a snapshot of peaceful times.

Then fire and blood spread as two factions clashed in civil war over control of the Victorean Torch.

After the battle, several Victoreans were exiled from the Sanctuary—including Yang Ai.

The memory ended. [Xiang] snapped back to reality: “She really is an exiled Victorean… but why did none of us ever know?”

Queen Qishala: “Perhaps our ancestors, who despised conflict, erased these memories to prevent recurrence. Even I thought it was just legend—until now.”

“But they shouldn’t have. It was a terrible mistake. History must not be forgotten.”

“Our people must never forget that while we live in peace, others still suffer.”

“Xiang, go ask Qi Ming for help. I believe his status and wisdom can find a peaceful solution.”

[Xiang] nodded, his expression equally complex. He pulled out his PDI communicator and called Qi Ming to report the incident.

Qi Ming: “Pfft!”

Damn it!

When we get to this part of “The Stolen Max Sword,” does someone really have to lose a transformation device?

No Max Spark lost, no Ultra Glasses lost—now they lose the Victorean Torch?

“Yang Ai? I know her,” Qi Ming said after a pause.

This is from Ultraman Ginga S Episode 6, “The Forgotten Past.”

In the original, Yang Ai also stole [Xiang]’s Victorean Torch and pressed him hard.

But because Ginga refused to fight back, and because of Shepaton’s heartfelt call, they eventually reconciled and made dumplings together.

Qi Ming asked: “Do you know where she went?”

[Xiang]: “No idea…”

Qi Ming: “Then after I finish what I’m handling, I’ll help you search for her.”

[Xiang]: “Thank you for the trouble.”

Qi Ming: “Why be so formal? Allies help each other.”

He told [Xiang] to come over—he’d join him to take down the Rexon controlling Airei Wang, then seamlessly move to the next phase.

After hanging up the PDI communicator, Qi Ming turned back to the two bound Pit Star female agents and resumed interrogation.

Zhu Xingtuan, rubbing his head awake, happened to witness Qi Ming’s entire “interrogation”—he was stunned.

Because Qi Ming had described horrifying tortures: oiling the Pit Star agents’ soles and letting ducks peck them; forcing them to wear headphones playing garbage music; spraying pepper powder into their nostrils and forbidding them to sneeze…

The two Pit Star agents imagined these punishments and turned pale: “Are you a demon? We won’t submit to your vile methods!”

Qi Ming: “Of course, there’s a simpler way.”

He pulled out the Victory Hyper Gun and aimed it at both of them.

“Only one person is needed to lead us. Whoever answers first lives.”
