Chapter 381: Exposure of Supernatural Phenomena
Mo Rui no longer hesitated and immediately took Li Yan and several energy experts through the Purple Star's teleportation system to the collapse point. When they arrived, the situation was worse than expected. A massive rift had torn through space, purple energy was pouring out like liquid, and the surrounding buildings were beginning to disintegrate.
"We must establish an energy barrier immediately!" one expert shouted, "Otherwise, the collapse will expand further!"
Li Yan quickly analyzed the situation, recalling Ling Bo's former Water Element Seal technique. He took a deep breath and released all his Fire Element Energy, forming a blue flame barrier to temporarily seal the energy leakage point.
"I need your assistance," he said to the Purple Star energy experts, "Fuse your energy with my flames to form a temporary repair structure."
The experts quickly grasped his intent and injected purple energy into the blue flames. Under Li Yan's guidance, this mixed energy gradually formed a mesh structure and began to repair the Dimension Rift.
The process was extremely difficult. Every energy fluctuation dealt a massive shock to Li Yan's spirit, but he gritted his teeth and persisted, constantly adjusting the output of his Fire Element Energy. After nearly an hour of effort, the rift finally began to shrink until it was completely sealed.
When the last trace of purple energy was guided back inside the dimension, Li Yan finally could not hold on any longer; he knelt on one knee and gasped for air. The entire process of the rescue operation was transmitted back to the Council Hall.
"I have seen enough evidence," the Chairman Elder solemnly announced, "I propose accepting the peace proposal put forward by Diqiu and jointly establishing the Dimension Balance Array."
The council held a vote, and the resolution was ultimately passed by an absolute majority of ten to two. Even though Yage still held a dissenting opinion, he had to accept the majority decision.
"We will dispatch a team of our best scientists to Diqiu," the Chairman Elder announced.
A young female energy being stepped forward: "Chairman, I request to serve as the Purple Star Peace Envoy to assist Li Yan in returning to Diqiu. My name is Ga Luo, and I have achieved some success in the research of energy communion."
The Chairman nodded in agreement: "Approved. Ga Luo will serve as the first Purple Star Peace Envoy and return to Diqiu together with Li Yan."
"There are more challenges awaiting us," Ga Luo whispered to Li Yan, seemingly also noticing Yage's hostility, "but today, we have taken the first step."
On the third day after Li Yan crossed the dimension channel, the situation on Diqiu underwent earth-shaking changes.
Major global media outlets broadcast the same video almost simultaneously—footage of extraterrestrial warships hovering over major cities around the world, as well as the battle that took place at the Tianmen Platform. These images were rapidly spread across the internet, triggering global panic. The government's initial attempts at a cover-up had completely failed; people had witnessed those purple energy vortices and the Five Elements light pillars with their own eyes, and the world could never return to how it was before.
"They have to face reality now," Ling Bo stood on the Kunlun Shan ridge, looking at the delegations from various countries continuously pouring in from below the mountain, "The existence of Practitioners can no longer be hidden."
Lin Xuan nodded: "Not just Practitioners, but also extraterrestrial civilizations, and..." He looked up at the sky, "the awakening of the Earth Consciousness."
Three days ago, after the five reached the Peace Agreement at the Tianmen Platform, the Earth Consciousness took the initiative to send a signal to all of humanity. Across the globe, every electronic device had briefly displayed the same five-colored pattern, and similar scenes had appeared in everyone's dreams—the earth shrouded in five-colored light and a sense of deep connection.
Governments around the world faced an unprecedented crisis. Conventional military forces appeared pale and powerless in the face of extraterrestrial technology, and those Five Elements abilities known as "supernatural phenomena" were now confirmed to be real.
"They are here." Shi Qi's voice came from the ground. As a Metal Element controller, she could sense the vibrations of the approaching convoys and helicopters.
"It is time," Lin Xuan took a deep breath, "Prepare to welcome the first plenary session of the Kunlun Council."
Three days ago, after Li Yan left, the remaining four guardians consulted with the Earth Consciousness and decided to establish a unified Diqiu representative body—the Kunlun Council—to coordinate global affairs and conduct formal negotiations with extraterrestrial civilizations.
Using her astonishing Metal Element abilities, Shi Qi carved out a magnificent underground space in the heart of the Kunlun Mountains and built a circular council hall capable of accommodating hundreds of people. In the center of the hall was a miniature replica of the Heaven Origin Instrument, serving as a symbol of the Earth Consciousness, surrounded by colored crystal pillars representing the Five Elements.
Xu Feng designed a communication system that combined modern technology with Five Elements Energy, allowing council members to communicate in real-time across the globe without distance limitations. His Metal Element components displayed astonishing adaptability, capable of perfectly integrating with various electronic devices.
The seats in the council hall were divided into three circular zones: the inner ring was for the five guardians, the middle ring was arranged for government representatives and leaders of the cultivation world, and the outer ring was reserved for advisory teams such as scientists and cultural scholars.
When the first batch of representatives stepped into the council hall, many were still shocked, unable to fully accept this new reality. Several military generals were particularly focused on the defense systems around the hall, while the scientist representatives showed great interest in the Five Elements Energy.
"Welcome, everyone," Lin Xuan stood on the central platform, "Thank you for coming to the first plenary session of the Kunlun Council during these extraordinary times. I know you have many questions, and we will do our best to answer them, but first, please allow me to introduce the true current state of Diqiu to everyone."
He briefly narrated the extraterrestrial civilization invasion, the resistance of the five guardians, the awakening of the Earth Consciousness, and the process of reaching a preliminary Peace Agreement with Mo Rui. When he mentioned that Li Yan had already gone to the extraterrestrial dimension as a Peace Envoy, the venue was in an uproar.
"Now, we are facing a brand new world order," Lin Xuan continued, "Five Elements Cultivation is no longer a secret for the few, and the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations has also been made public."
The meeting quickly fell into chaos. Opinions from all sides were sharply divided: the U. S. representative emphasized the need to acquire extraterrestrial technology to maintain national security; the Russian representative questioned the reliability of the Peace Agreement; the EU representative was concerned about environmental issues that might be caused by energy pollution; and the representatives from China and India expressed great interest in the civilian potential of Five Elements Energy.
The representatives of the cultivation world were equally divided: the Dao Sect advocated for caution regarding extraterrestrial civilizations and maintaining vigilance; the Buddha Sect advocated for tolerance and understanding; and Western occult groups expressed a strong desire for dimensional knowledge.
"We cannot accept any terms that restrict our development!" one military representative said fiercely, "We need to weaponize Five Elements Energy to prevent extraterrestrial civilizations from breaking their agreement!"
"Weaponize?" an old monk shook his head, "This is precisely the path we should avoid. We have already seen the possibility of Five Elements Energy coexisting with extraterrestrial energy; why must we move toward confrontation?"
