Chapter 25: Kneel Properly
"Uncle, Uncle." Seeing Zou Dalong walk over, Zhang Zihao's face turned deathly pale.
Zou Dalong's face was livid. He stretched out a hand, and a Yisheng nearby handed him a golf club.
"Uncle, what are you doing? I was wrong, Uncle, I really don't know him!" Zhang Zihao cried in terror.
Zou Dalong said nothing. He swung the club in his hand with one arm and smashed it heavily down onto Zhang Zihao. Zhang Zihao let out a miserable shriek and collapsed to the ground.
Zou Dalong desperately picked up the club and rained blows down on Zhang Zihao. Zhang Zihao's screams were incessant. Zou Dalong struck with extreme ruthlessness; in less than five minutes, the custom-made golf club was bent.
Seeing that Zhang Zihao was barely breathing, Zou Dalong still kept smashing away. The ground was covered in blood.
"That's enough." Chen Yu frowned and called for Zou Dalong to stop; if he kept hitting him, it would cost a Life.
"Thank you, Mr. Chen." Only then did Zou Dalong let out a sigh of relief. He dropped the club and bowed, saying, "Mr. Chen, I will definitely discipline this brat well in the future."
"Let this matter end here. You had better discipline him well. If he provokes me again, he will lose his Life," Chen Yu said coldly.
"Yes, there will absolutely not be a next time," Zou Dalong bowed in fear.
"How is your arm?" Chen Yu glanced at Zou Dalong's arm, which was in a sling.
"It's fractured. I offended Mr. Chen; I deserve it," Zou Dalong replied hurriedly.
Chen Yu suddenly stretched out his right hand, grabbed Zou Dalong's arm, and gave it a slight twist and adjustment. A crisp *crack* sounded.
Zou Dalong was startled. That crisp sound had completely healed his arm. It is said that broken bones take a hundred days to heal; his arm should have been immobile for three months, but now he tried moving it and found it could move freely.
"Thank you, Mr. Chen." Zou Dalong was overjoyed. To him, any small favor from Chen Yu was a great grace.
"Do not lift heavy objects for three days. After three days, it will be fully recovered," Chen Yu said indifferently.
"Yes, thank you, Sir." Zou Dalong was slightly shocked inside. His arm had been seen by a well-known Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, who said it would take at least three months, yet Chen Yu was able to heal it instantly.
"Let's go." After finishing the business here, Chen Yu turned back and smiled slightly.
"Okay." Ning Ruoxue nodded with a complex expression, and she left with Chen Yu.
"Boss Zou, what about Young Master Zhang?" After Chen Yu left, a bodyguard asked.
"Hurry up and send him to the hospital, damn it!" Zou Dalong let out a breath and hurriedly went to check on Zhang Zihao's condition. His own nephew had been beaten like this by his own hand; how could he not feel pained?
But he had no choice. Not to mention how strong Chen Yu himself was, the Lin family behind him alone was not someone Zou Dalong could afford to provoke.
"Thank you for today. Let's get to know each other; my name is Ning Ruoxue." After stepping outside, Ning Ruoxue reached out to Chen Yu.
"Chen Yu." Chen Yu reached out and shook her hand.
"Your name is exactly the same as that friend of mine," Ning Ruoxue lowered her head.
"There are quite a lot of people with the same name," Chen Yu smiled.
"Yes, there are quite a lot of people with the same name, but there is only one of him in this world." Ning Ruoxue turned away and quietly wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes.
Chen Yu stared at her blankly; he knew she was crying.
*Clatter*, Ning Ruoxue's bag fell to the ground. A file folder tore open, and a document appeared before Chen Yu's eyes.
Chen Yu, who had bent down to pick it up, was shocked. The photo attached to the document was none other than a photo of himself from his previous life. This was a case-reopening file; even though he had been executed a year ago, she still hadn't given up.
"Is... this your friend?" Chen Yu stared at the document, his eyes slightly red.
"Yes. He was executed a year ago for drunk driving that caused three deaths and one injury. I have been looking for evidence to reopen his case," Ning Ruoxue hurriedly picked up the things on the ground.
"You think he was innocent?" Light flickered in Chen Yu's eyes.
"He was innocent," Ning Ruoxue raised her head, her gaze like a torch.
"The evidence was conclusive, and the court sentenced him. Why do you believe he was innocent?" Chen Yu asked.
"Because I know him well enough. Someone like him, who wouldn't even ride an electric scooter after one beer, how could he possibly drive drunk?" Ning Ruoxue murmured.
Chen Yu felt a shock in his heart, and his heart trembled. Before the execution, no matter how he defended himself, it was of no use. Even Li Qingwan thought he was the murderer. He felt as if the whole world had abandoned him. Fortunately, she was still here, never giving up.
"Let me buy you a drink, just to thank you." Ning Ruoxue steadied herself, recovering from her sorrow.
"You shouldn't drink alcohol, otherwise your migraines will flare up. The ibuprofen sustained-release tablets you take regularly cannot be taken after drinking," Chen Yu said.
"How do you know I have migraines?" Ning Ruoxue suddenly raised her head. "And how do you know I often take ibuprofen sustained-release tablets?"
"I, I..." Chen Yu was speechless. What could he say? Tell her he was that Chen Yu? No, that would be treated as being mentally ill.
"Who exactly are you?" Ning Ruoxue stepped forward, staring into Chen Yu's eyes.
"I am a doctor, a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor. I can tell," Chen Yu said. "I have a way to cure your headache."
"No need." Ning Ruoxue lowered her head and grabbed her bag to leave, but suddenly her brows furrowed slightly; her headache had indeed flared up.
"Sit down first, let me relieve it for you." Chen Yu hurriedly helped her sit on a chair in the park in the middle of the street, then pressed his hands on her neck and began to massage gently.
Ning Ruoxue's tightly furrowed brows slowly relaxed. Chen Yu's technique was incredibly gentle, and wisps of heat flowed from her neck into her body.
Chen Yu's hands slid from her neck down to her shoulders and then to her back. His hands were hot and powerful. Ning Ruoxue's heart suddenly began to pound. As Chen Yu's hands moved and pressed along the major acupuncture points on her body, her mouth went dry, and her delicate body trembled slightly.
She suddenly had an extreme desire, hoping the man behind her would hold her tightly and never let go.
Ning Ruoxue's previous illness was just a simple migraine, but after Chen Yu's incident, she often stayed up late to reopen the case, exhausting her mind and body, which had evolved into Liver Meridian Excess Cold Syndrome.
This condition has a characteristic: when the symptoms arrive, the head feels hot as fire, and the desire for sexual intercourse is very strong.
Suddenly, she grabbed Chen Yu's hand tightly...
Chen Yu was slightly startled. He stopped his hands and said, "Don't stay up late in the future, keep a cheerful mood. I will prepare a prescription for you, supplemented by acupuncture, and it will be cured at the root in half a month."
"Thank you." Ning Ruoxue was covered in sweat. She stood up hurriedly and said, "I, I should go back."
"I'll add you on WeChat. I'll send you the prescription in a moment. You must take the medicine on time," Chen Yu urged.
"Mm." Ning Ruoxue looked at Chen Yu deeply, as if to imprint him in her heart, then hurried away as if fleeing.
Chen Yu smiled. Seeing that it was getting late, he should also go back.
When he arrived home, Ye Xinyu had already returned, but her expression was more or less unhappy.
"Wife, what's wrong? Are you unhappy?" Chen Yu asked.
"It's nothing, just a bit tired," Ye Xinyu smiled reluctantly and said, "Husband, let's sleep."
Chen Yu frowned. Ye Xinyu definitely had something on her mind; he could tell just by looking at her expression.
When she left, she had taken on a big order from Yibo, so she should have been happy; now that she was like this, there was only one possibility: that grandson surnamed Wang had picked on her and made things difficult for her again.
