Chapter 195: The Autarch's Way of Command
"Thunder Hammer."
The Primarch's voice rang out, and simultaneously, a mind pulse rippled through Weiershier's mind.
Order Shadow quickly digested the received data, understanding the meanings of Path, Path of the Warrior, and the Striking Scorpion aspect warriors, and also knowing that the green-armored Eldar before him were Striking Scorpions.
He also knew the characteristics of Striking Scorpions; they were equipped with heavier, more durable armor.
The weight of the armor made their movements slower, but its protection was sufficient to render bolters useless, requiring multiple fire sources to attack a Striking Scorpion simultaneously to be effective.
Weiershier slung his bolter on his back and drew the Thunder Hammer hanging at his waist.
At the same time, he noticed that the dense hail of bullets fired by the Gene-Father accurately struck the same spots on each Striking Scorpion.
The Striking Scorpions emerging from the shadows seemed to collide with the bolter rounds themselves, and several fell instantly.
Weiershier knew he did not have the Primarch's swift firing speed, much less the ability to make bolter rounds accurately hit the same spot.
He pressed the Runic Rune, and a blue force field glow shone.
Weiershier raised the Power Hammer with both hands and smashed it onto the head of a green-armored Eldar.
The Disruption Field tore through the Striking Scorpion's helmet, smashing the Eldar's head into pulp.
The Striking Scorpions did not stop their pace; they were as lethal as their name suggested.
The members who joined the Striking Scorpion shrine were all vicious and merciless people; they were Khaine's Wrath, inflicting brutal acts upon their enemies without warning.
The Power Hammer collided with a Chainsword, and Weiershier felt that the Striking Scorpions were more robust than their kin; their strength was greater.
Weiershier abruptly lowered his body and slammed into the Striking Scorpion.
His momentum-filled impact sent the Striking Scorpion flying, and he immediately swung the Thunder Hammer, smashing it onto the enemy's head with Article 23 of the "Osberh-Waya".
The Path of "Osberh-Waya" was already a required course for the Eleventh Legion, starting from the recruit stage.
Under the instruction of Bradshaw and Hollis, the Terra-born recruits had also mastered the swordsmanship of their homeworld.
They refined the Path of "Osberh-Waya" into their own skills according to the weapons they were accustomed to using.
Ninglu drew his Power Sword and strode forward.
The Shielding Field weakened the Primarch's perception, but he could still grasp the general situation around him.
In his "Warp Vision," one light flickered more dazzlingly than the other Eldar.
Ninglu headed in that direction, gathering members of the Honor Guard along the way.
On the way, the Primarch encountered Eldar warriors of various aspects: the agile close-combat experts, the Howling Banshees, the Warp Spiders that suddenly emerged relying on teleportation devices...
Amidst waves of combat, he updated the data on Slauda.
Ninglu knew that aspect warriors who had completed multiple aspect paths and mastered the mysteries of the different facets of the War God Khaine could choose to step onto the Command Path.
The Command Path originated from the leaders in ancient Eldar mythology and was the successor to Eldayesh, Usnayesh, and Rian.
Warriors who completed the Command Path would earn the title of Autarch.
Farseers were the guides and advisors of the Craftworld, while Autarchs were the leaders and generals of the Craftworld's armies.
The Autarchs' perfect understanding of the art of war allowed them to serve as the war leaders of the entire Craftworld, leading their own War Host onto the battlefield.
【Slauda's War Host gathers every aspect warrior I know of.
He may not have completed all these aspects, but he has at least walked through most of them, and perhaps even touched upon all of them.
For Slauda to be able to gather so many aspect warriors with conflicting philosophies under his command, his leadership, command ability, and personal combat prowess must all be considered excellent among Autarchs.
He is not just a schemer who plays with tactics, but a true war leader.】
Ninglu led the remaining four hundred and eighty-three members of the Honor Guard and Arsena into the battlefield and looked at Slauda.
The Autarch wore ceremonial robes, and the symbols on them consisted of two parts.
The upper part was an upright triangle with two straight lines extending perpendicular to its sides.
The lower part was a hook passing through a long horizontal line and a short horizontal line in succession.
Slauda wore a Howling Banshee Mask, held a Fusion Gun in his left hand, and carried a Warp Spider Jump Generator on his back.
The most dazzling thing in Ninglu's line of sight was the sword held in his right hand.
The blade was long and narrow, engraved throughout with mysterious runes, and a cold light interwoven with deep blue and silver-white flowed within the blade.
The hilt was inlaid with a Psionic Crystal, and the shining psionic light shone through his slender palm.
In the "Briber's" Spirit Vision, the shining leading light was not as bright as the Power Fist, but it exceeded other extraordinary items such as the Prophecy Dice.
【Exceeding the Sequence 4 level, below Sequence 1, either Sequence 2 or Sequence 3.】
"Ninglu!"
Slauda's High Gothic was very standard, with a Terra accent that was clear and articulate, and the tone contained the unique cadence of the Eldar.
"Your end is already destined; today you shall die!"
The Autarch issued his declaration ceremoniously, and then began to command his War Host of over a thousand.
The Guardians lined up neatly, forming a frontal battle line, and fired a dense barrage of Monofilament Darts at the Order Shadow.
Arsena Dunn and his strong-brained cat, blue eyes shining, used telekinesis to set up a "Force Field".
The Monofilament Darts slammed into the "Force Field," making a clanging sound.
The Autarch maneuvered his War Host, launching a three-dimensional attack from all directions.
Windrider riders whistled as they launched an assault from the air, Striking Scorpions lurked to the rear of the Honor Guard, Howling Banshees charged at the flanks of the Order Shadow, and Warp Spiders jumped directly into the ranks...
Ninglu's consciousness spread to the surroundings, establishing a mental link with the Honor Guard and the Primarch Attendant.
His commands were instantly synchronized into the minds of every member of the Honor Guard.
The Order Shadows responded to the War Host's attack in an orderly fashion; the Honor Guard, skilled in marksmanship, raised their bolters, fired a dense barrage, and blew up the Jetbikes.
Weiershier and other Honor Guard members holding heavy weapons like the Thunder Hammer turned and slaughtered the Striking Scorpions.
The Order Shadows with the most superb swordsmanship spread to the flanks and fought with the Howling Banshees.
The Honor Guard members with fast reactions and agile movements rushed swiftly toward the Warp Spiders.
The Autarch discovered with astonishment that the monkey army, under the command of the Primarch, was actually holding off the War Host's attack despite being outnumbered.
In the midst of the clash, the black-armored monkeys and his elite War Host subordinates even achieved a casualty ratio of one to four.
【The Primarch is indeed a war machine forged by the Monkey Lord; he actually suppresses my Command Path.】
Skilled in the Command Path, he also discovered that Ninglu knew the characteristics of the various Eldar Samurai sects like the back of his hand, even though several of those sects were clashing with humans for the first time.
【How is this possible? Could he possess precognitive abilities equal to a Farseer who has completed the Foresight Path?】
Slauda gripped the Sword of Vaul, staring coldly at Ninglu.
【Ninglu must die; he is a fatal threat to the great Eldar.】
He is also an obstacle to our grand plan; he must never be allowed to become a weapon for the Monkey Lord.】
The Autarch coldly issued the order for all War Host members to launch a Death charge against the members of the Honor Guard.
At the same moment, Slauda began to move.
