Chapter 210: Fire Wheel: Weiershier's Pre-Battle Speech
After Peier occupied the Xinggang, dozens of tugboats immediately sailed toward the Xinggang.
Magnetic grappling claws adhered tightly to the stress points calculated by the Techmarines, and the tugboats flew along the planned route, pulling the chains taut.
The massive Xinggang was, at that same moment, torn apart by pulling forces from four different directions.
The tugboats flew into the black atmosphere of Planet No. 2 and, outside the range of the Orcs' anti-aircraft fire, released the magnetic grappling claws.
Four mountain-like wrecks plummeted at Rapid speed toward the planet's surface.
The Mekboy Boys pulled down the Astronomy Telescopes they had snatched from humans and worn on their heads, widening their eyes to look.
They looked through the blinding light produced by intense friction and saw the steel parts inside.
A Si-tou clan Mekboy Boy jumped up and down, shouting to the Scrapper Boys: "Things are falling, things are falling from the sky."
"Gork and Mork sent them to me!"
"Follow me, don't let those greedy guys snatch them away, only I am qualified to have them."
The Scrapper Boys roared with excitement and followed the Mekboy Boy, charging toward the falling mountain of trash.
The rapidly falling Xinggang wreckage disintegrated amidst intense friction.
Wreckage of various sizes smashed in swaths onto the unlucky Si-tou clan Orcs.
Not a single Si-tou Orc ran away; when it came to snatching things, Orcs of other clans were far less crazy than them.
The wreckage falling from the sky was a treasure they would fight to the death to snatch.
Mekboy Boys under different bosses, or even under the same boss, launched attacks on competitors without mercy.
The conflict escalated rapidly within a few days, and all five Orc bosses led their subordinates to join the brawl.
More and more Ork tribes joined the massive brawl with jubilation.
Ninglu was not in a hurry to launch an attack; he continuously monitored the density of life readings in the brawl area.
It was not until the twenty-fifth day after the brawl began that he gave the order to launch the attack according to the plan.
As the fleet launched orbital bombardments around the battlefield to strike the Orcs' anti-aircraft facilities, Ninglu stood on the boarding deck, gazing at Weiershier, who was delivering a pre-battle speech to the assembled members of the Honor Guard.
"Ever since I joined the Legion, I have heard a few people whisper our name."
"I ask you now, what are you called?"
"Order Shadow!"
More than five hundred voices answered in unison, the sound echoing on the boarding deck, but Weiershier was not satisfied.
"What are we?"
Weiershier roared loudly.
"Order Shadow!"
Everyone shouted out, deafeningly loud.
"We are Order Shadow, but we are not just Order Shadow."
"We are the Honor Guard!"
A burst of cheers responded to his words, but it was not enough, far from enough.
"You have never before borne such consequences for your actions as you do today, and you will never again fight in the name of the Monarch's Honor Guard like this."
"No responsibility is more important than this, and no glory is more real than this."
"We are the Monarch's Honor Guard. On this day, we shall carve our legend into the body of every Ork we kill."
"Are you willing to stand with me?"
Now the cheers erupted, the cheers of the Honor Guard roaring in the air around him.
"Are you willing to stand with me?"
Another roar.
"Sons of the Monarch! We are the sons of Lord Ninglu!"
"The Orcs dare to occupy our city, dare to desecrate our world!"
"The final dawn has arrived, and we will crush their corpses!"
Weiershier pressed a Runic Rune and raised his Power Hammer.
The blue light shone upon his sharp-featured face, his long black hair fluttering in the wind.
"We are Order Shadow! We are the Honor Guard!"
"Say it! Say it! Shout it out loud so the Orks below will hear our fury!"
"We are Order Shadow! We are the Honor Guard!"
The members of the Honor Guard felt the battle intent rising within Weiershier, his fanaticism for the Legion and the Primarch.
"We are Order Shadow! We are the Honor Guard!"
The Order Shadows felt the rising battle intent from their companions around them, felt the fanaticism of the others.
Their emotions resonated with one another, falling into a frenzy.
Weiershier sensed the emotions of the Honor Guard members; he was satisfied, and he roared loudly.
"For Order Shadow! For the Honor Guard! For the Monarch!"
"For Order Shadow! For the Honor Guard! For the Monarch!"
"For the Monarch! Louder!"
"For the Monarch!"
"They cannot hear your voices, brothers!"
"For the Monarch!"
Weiershier deactivated the Runic Rune and shouted loudly.
"Purge the filthy Orks! We are Order Shadow, we are the Honor Guard, for the Monarch!"
"For the King! For the King! For the King!"
Weiershier waved his arms vigorously, and the members of the Honor Guard fanatically scrambled into the Drop Pods.
The Primarch watched the entire process of Weiershier's speech, and he keenly sensed every member of the Honor Guard.
Even those gathered behind, who were not the target of Weiershier's speech, were affected.
Their will to fight was high, and dozens of them even followed along with low roars.
Ninglu could not help but think to himself.
【Weiershier is a natural-born Chaplain.
He also perfectly fits the "Sun" pathway. He possesses the traits of Sequence 9 "Singer", Sequence 7 "Sun Priest", and even Sequence 5 "Priest of Light".
It is a pity that I am still missing one main ingredient for the "Singer" Potion, the Golden Sunflower; I do not know when I will be able to find it.】
While Ninglu was deep in thought, he raised his hand and waved, and the members of the Honor Guard walked into the Drop Pods one after another.
The black Drop Pods plummeted at Rapid speed, smashing into the midst of the Orks.
Weiershier was the first Order Shadow to land on Planet No. 2, and he let out a loud roar.
"For the King!"
The members of the Honor Guard all heard his roar; they surged out from the Drop Pods, shouting, "For the King."
The Honor Guard fired a dense rain of bullets at the Orcs with an attack speed far exceeding their usual pace.
They marched with steady steps, advancing, firing, changing magazines...
The Orks fell in swathes, like a wheat field passed through by a harvester.
As the Honor Guard advanced unstoppably, an earth-shattering roar rang out.
A tall Ork, whose left eye flickered with a harsh red light, whose body was covered in blue tattoos, and whose back and right arm were entwined with machinery, roared and charged over.
The Orc Boss let out a roar: "Waaagh!"
The Orcs all roared "Waaagh" in response and charged toward the Honor Guard.
Bolters roared, and the Orks fell in swathes.
The Orc Boss's body was splattered with gore, yet he did not fall.
He swung his red Choppa and slashed at Weiershier.
Weiershier put on his "War Mask"; he drew strength from his anger and swung his Power Hammer to meet the attack.
With a loud bang.
The Orc Boss violently knocked Weiershier flying, and his Bolter Pistol even fell to the ground.
The Orc Boss charged into the ranks of the Honor Guard; he swung his Choppa and smashed it down.
The Choppa shattered a black helmet and crushed an Order Shadow's head.
He swung his Choppa again, sweeping away several Honor Guard members who were pouncing on him.
Scrambling to his feet, Weiershier knew he had to kill the Orc Boss immediately to defend the faith of the Honor Guard.
Weiershier charged forward at Rapid speed, his pitch-black eyes staring at the Orc who was even taller and stronger than the Gene-Father.
【The Gene-Father taught us that every enemy has a weakness!】
Two steps away from the Orc Boss, the whites of Weiershier's eyes suddenly vanished completely, and black pupils occupied his entire eyeballs.
Weiershier saw that on the Ork's right flank, where strange machinery covered the area, there was a palm-sized wound.
He sidestepped to avoid the Orc Boss's attack, put strength into his arms, and swung the Power Hammer.
The charged War Hammer smashed into the Orc Boss's right flank.
The Disruption Field crackled, and the wound burst open.
The Orc Boss's body slammed heavily onto the ground, and Weiershier swung the Power Hammer again, smashing his head several times.
After killing the Orc Boss, Weiershier muttered to himself.
"Just now... did I use the 'Warp Insight' that Father taught us?"
