Chapter 1027

Fujiki You Xuan set four cards in the back row and announced the end of the turn.

If it were an opponent familiar with him, they would probably have started sweating profusely by now. Four cards set in the back row, and among them, there was almost certainly a "Gravity Bind" that could seal the attack of the entire Time Lord deck. The other three cards were still unknown, and normal people standing here would almost start to feel the pressure.

But the fake Zone remained calm at this time.

Although such a situation was a bit unfavorable, he was confident that his Time Lord would not be restricted so easily.

First of all, he still had to break through that troublesome Gravity Bind. As long as that Continuous Trap was on the field, the Time Lord's attack would be sealed. As for the other traps, although they were also threatening, they were not too big. After all, Time Lords had resistance that could not be destroyed, and this layer of resistance was enough to resist the threat of most traps.

"My turn, draw a card."

The fake Zone shouted.

"At this moment, activate the Set Card, Continuous Trap 'Infinite Machine'!"

Fujiki You Xuan said: "After Empty Machine comes Infinite Machine, and the third one is 'Infinite Light'. As expected, it's the strongest deployment of the Time Lord."

"Heh, you know quite a lot."

The fake Zone smiled softly.

"That's right, these three traps are the core of the Time Lord, and also the necessary ritual to summon the strongest Time Lord. But not everyone is qualified to see the strongest Time Lord!

'Infinite Machine' can only be activated by sending the 'Empty Machine' already on your field to the Graveyard. It is the evolution of Empty Machine!"

The ring that had been floating in the sky suddenly trembled, and the void darkness inside the ring began to surge. With the activation of the Continuous Trap, a second identical ring peeled off from the void, and the two metal rings began to nest into each other at an angle that defied geometry. The moment their edges touched, the roaring sound of gears meshing echoed throughout the space.

The two rings completed their transformation in the distortion and finally merged into a Mobius strip shining with blue light. This strange structure with no front or back slowly rotated, perfectly interpreting the concrete concept of "infinity".

"The effect of Infinite Machine: while this card is face-up on my field, I can Special Summon any monster of level 10 or higher directly from my hand. But as a cost, the attack power of all monsters on my field becomes 0!" (Original effect)

It was another terrible effect with a huge difference between the original and the physical card.

The physical card version of Infinite Machine was limited to Time Lords and could only Special Summon Time Lords, while in the original version, any monster of level 10 or higher could be summoned. Theoretically, the three Egyptian God cards were no exception.

And if the Egyptian Gods were summoned, they would not be affected by Trap Card effects after they appeared, so they would not take the side effect of "attack power becoming 0".

Moreover, the physical card version's Special Summon of a Time Lord from the hand was an activation-type effect, which could only be activated once per turn and could only Special Summon one Time Lord. The anime description was more clearly a continuous effect, which was permanently effective as long as Infinite Machine was on the field. As long as there were level 10 monsters in the hand, no matter how many, they could jump out directly, without quantity restrictions.

And the anime Infinite Machine could "negate the effect of 'other monsters cannot be summoned when a Time Lord is on the field'." That is to say, normally, when a duelist controls a Time Lord, only one Time Lord can exist on their field, and no other monsters can exist. And if this card was on the field, this restriction was canceled, and jumping out five Time Lords at once was completely no problem.

But if one had to say the advantage of the physical card, it was not that there was none. The physical card version of Infinite Machine's Special Summon effect could be activated during the opponent's Main Phase, and Time Lords could also be summoned during the opponent's turn. In the anime, the Special Summon of a Time Lord was a continuous effect, which could only be actively Special Summoned from the hand during one's own turn and could not be summoned during the opponent's turn.

Besides that, the physical card version of Infinite Machine also had once-per-turn destruction resistance and the effect of searching for the next Continuous Trap "Infinite Light" from the deck, which the original anime version did not have—but in the anime, these key cards could be drawn anyway, and the search-type effect was probably redundant.

"When Infinite Machine is on the field, I can Special Summon a level 10 monster from my hand unconditionally. Appear! Time Lord Raphion! Time Lord Metaion!"

【Time Lord Raphion, ATK 0】

【Time Lord Metaion, ATK 0】

Nothing to say, two Time Lords bounced back to the hand by Abyss Soldier.

Two divine light pillars descended from the sky. Time Lord Metaion appeared first, its scarlet mechanical arm tore open the crack, and the twisted human face in the purple crystal on its chest seemed to be roaring silently. In the mist surging inside the crystal, the facial features of the human face constantly shifted and reorganized, appearing unpredictable. The face of the old man on Raphion's chest was solemn and angry, and the flames on its two shoulders were like the embodiment of anger.

"Then activate the Spell Card 'Card of Demise'!" The fake Zone continued, "Draw cards from the deck until you have five cards in your hand. Discard all cards in your hand during the Standby Phase five turns later." (Original card)

Fujiki You Xuan raised an eyebrow.

Well, as expected of Zone, the future king at the end of time, he really gathered the strongest power of every era.

However...

"Then activate the Set Card, Trap Card 'Reverse Card'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Can only be activated when the opponent draws cards from the deck by a card effect, draw cards from the deck until you have the same number of cards in your hand as the opponent!" (Original card)

The fake Zone frowned slightly.

"You drew five cards at once, so I will also draw cards from the deck until I have five cards in my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan also drew five cards and then smiled lightly.

"And, I don't need to bear the 'huge cost of discarding all cards in hand five turns later'. Thank you."

The fake Zone was calm and just said coldly: "If you want to draw, draw as much as you want, while you still have the chance."

Saying that, a mechanical arm swept across, making a slight sound of breaking through the air when waving in the air.

"Because of the effect of the Continuous Trap 'Infinite Machine', I can continue to Special Summon Time Lords. Appear!

Time Lord Kamion!"

Then the clouds shook violently, and Time Lord Kamion descended in a smashing posture. Its sturdy metal body was twice as wide as Metaion's, and the flat crystal on its chest glowed with a turbid orange light, in which the eyes faintly flickered, like a ruler monitoring the world through frosted glass.

【Time Lord Kamion, ATK 0】

Three Time Lords at once!

The fake Zone said majestically and deeply: "If you can withstand the attacks of these three Time Lords, then feel free to try.

First is the first one!"

The silver heavy mechanical arm waved in the high altitude, and at the same time, Zone's turbid instructions came from the floating device.

"Time Lord Raphion, attack 'Abyss Soldier'!"
