Chapter 1028

"Lazion, the Timelord's attack!"

The huge Timelord raised its fist and swept over with mighty energy.

"Oh?"

Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes.

Knowing that I have Gravity Bind set in the back row, he still attacked without fear...

That means he probably already has a countermeasure for Gravity Bind in his hand.

Interesting.

Fujiki You Xuan guessed a little, but still accepted the challenge and waved his hand to activate the back row.

"Activate the set card, Continuous Trap 'Gravity Bind'!"

"As long as this card exists on the field, all monsters of level 4 or higher on both sides cannot declare an attack!"

An invisible gravity wave was released from the trap, once again putting invisible shackles on all monsters on the field. Lazion, the Timelord's punch stalled before it could hit, and it seemed unable to move under the suppression of the wave.

The fake Zone responded immediately: "Then activate the Quick-Play Spell 'Mystical Space Typhoon' from my hand!"

"Destroy any one Magic or Trap Card on the field."

The pitch-black storm rolled up the trap in the back row, and the lightning that struck in the center of the storm hit the trap card, which was torn to pieces.

"Gravity Bind is a Continuous Trap. If it is destroyed, its effect disappears immediately, and the Timelord's attack is still valid." The fake Zone said in a low voice, "After Lazion, the Timelord battles, all monsters on the opponent's field and all cards in the Graveyard are returned to the owner's deck and shuffled!"

Checkmate.

In this way, the two troublesome Abyss Soldiers were cleared away in one breath, and the opponent lost the most powerful weapon against his Timelords.

But Fujiki You Xuan immediately said: "Then activate the set card, Trap Card 'Dimensional Prison'!"

"Activate this card when the opponent declares an attack, and banish the attacking monster directly from the game!"

The void was like torn parchment, and a crack with purple lightning flashing at the edges suddenly opened in front of Lazion. A gravitational wave that caused metal to deform came from the core of the crack.

When Lazion's fist touched the edge of the crack, the entire arm was instantly decomposed into countless cubic metal blocks. Endless gravity dragged its entire body into it, Lazion's torso began to pixelate and disintegrate, and was finally twisted and deformed and sucked into the other side of the dimension.

The face under the fake Zone's mask twitched imperceptibly.

Banish, not destroy, perfectly avoiding the Timelord's destruction resistance...

He snorted coldly and continued: "So what? I still have the attacks of two Timelords. Battle continues!"

"Next is Metaion, the Timelord, attack 'Abyss Soldier'!"

The second Timelord also launched an attack. Before it even made a move, the surrounding space seemed to have appeared with glass-like cracks, like ripples in time and space.

Even if one Timelord is solved, there are still two left. Can you really take them all down?

Metaion, the Timelord: when this card battles, all monsters on the opponent's field are returned to the owner's deck and shuffled, and the opponent is dealt damage equal to the number of monsters x 500.

It is also a field-clearing effect. Once it passes, it can instantly kill two Abyss Soldiers plus 1000 points of damage.

However, Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers again: "Then activate the set card, Trap Card 'Forced Back'!"

"This card can bounce any monster on the field back to the owner's hand."

Fujiki You Xuan flicked his finger lightly.

"Bounce 'Metaion, the Timelord' back to the hand too."

Metaion, the Timelord immediately turned into a golden light and flew straight back to the fake Zone's hand. Fake Zone: "..."

Although his iron mask still looked like there were no waves, as if he were very calm, in fact, he was probably not very calm under the mask.

He was confident that all Timelords had destruction resistance and were immune to most traps—especially those triggered by attack declarations, and this was indeed true. However, the problem was that the opponent had already mastered the information before the battle started, knew that he was using Timelords, and even knew that the entire Timelord deck had destruction resistance.

So Fujiki You Xuan not only chose a deck that could effectively target the Timelords, but also included general-purpose traps, all "monster destruction" type cards had long been kicked out. Every trap left in this deck had been screened by him to ensure it could be useful against the Timelords.

That's why the other party felt that his Timelord's resistance was like a decoration, and he couldn't even defend against a single trap.

The fake Zone was angry: "Then I still have the attack of 'Metaion, the Timelord'!"

"Metaion, attack 'Abyss Soldier'!"

This time, Fujiki You Xuan seemed to have no more means, and Metaion's attack passed smoothly. The moment it threw its right fist, the entire arm blasted out endless red light, turning into a torrent of energy that swept across the field.

When the scarlet waves swept across the battlefield, the armor of the two Abyss Soldiers seemed to begin to liquefy. The soldier on the left tried to block with his trident, but the weapon melted into blue liquid the moment it touched the red tide; the soldier on the right was pierced through the chest by the waves, and his body scattered like shattered spray. Wrapped in red light, the two formed two counter-clockwise rotating water tornadoes and flew back into Fujiki You Xuan's hand with a swish.

"At the end of the Battle Phase after Metaion, the Timelord battles, all monsters on the opponent's field are bounced back to the owner's hand." The fake Zone said, "And after that, deal damage to the opponent equal to the number of monsters returned to the hand x 300!"

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 2500 -> LP 1900】

Although Metaion's attack passed, the offensive of the two more powerful Timelords was resolved by Fujiki You Xuan. Metaion's blow seemed fierce, but after all, it only bounced Abyss Soldier back to the hand. Abyss Soldier is just a 4-star monster, and Fujiki You Xuan can summon it back next turn.

Although the Timelords in the anime have effects that are much more perverted than the physical cards, they are actually not as easy to summon as the physical cards.

The physical Timelords all have the effect of "if there are no monsters on your field, this card can be summoned without Tributing," which is not in the anime.

The Timelords in the anime either require you to honestly Tribute Summon with two Tributes, or use Time Maiden to Tribute, which can be slightly easier, or use a Continuous Trap like "Infinite Machine."

In short, the anime Timelords require specific summon support cards to appear, unlike the physical Timelords that can be used immediately. So for the anime Timelords, being bounced back to the hand is actually a bit painful.

And Fujiki You Xuan's Abyss Soldier is different. Bouncing back to the hand only means consuming one more Normal Summon opportunity.

But the fake Zone of course also thought of this layer. He ended the Battle Phase and then said: "While the Continuous Trap 'Infinite Machine' is on the field, I can Special Summon Timelords from my hand."

"Come on, Special Summon 'Metaion, the Timelord' again."

Metaion, which had just been bounced back to the hand by Abyss Soldier, landed again. With Infinite Machine on the field, the impact of being bounced back was reduced to a minimum.

【Metaion, the Timelord, ATK 0】

"Then activate this card..."

The fake Zone's mechanical arm threw out another card from his hand with great force.

"Spell Card 'Hand Destruction'!"
