Chapter 1061: Ash Lava

"Burning up?"

Hearing Judai's words, Taniguchi let out a mocking sneer.

"I think you don't understand at all?"

Judai: "What?"

"You don't understand at all that the terribleness of 'No.' is far more than just this!"

Taniguchi shouted loudly.

"Battle! 'No. 61 Volcasaurus,' direct attack on Judai Yuki!"

A roar like the vibration of the earth's core came from deep in Volcasaurus's throat, and the lava boiled and rolled between its teeth. With a roar that shook the sky, it spewed out a spiral magma torrent with a diameter of several meters. The vortex was wrapped in obsidian fragments and boiling bubbles, and the air was burned into scorch marks wherever it passed.

Yubel said in a deep voice: "Can it continue to attack after two monster destructions? It's really a monster-like monster."

Yes, this is another important difference between the animation and real card of Volcasaurus. The real card Volcasaurus cannot attack directly in the turn its effect is activated, but there is no such restriction in the animation at all.

No once per turn, blowing up monsters and dealing huge damage, and finally, after blowing up, it can even continue to attack...

It is no exaggeration to say that Volcasaurus in the 4000-blood environment is completely an overpowered OTK artifact. If you are not careful for a moment, you will be roasted into charcoal by this thing.

And in fact, after the real card Volcasaurus was born, even after such layers of weakening, it still quickly gained a place in the competitive environment and became the most versatile Rank 5 Xyz in the Xyz era.

Not to mention that there is also the resistance that all "No." have in the animation: "No. cannot be destroyed by monsters other than No."

From this, we can see the terribleness of this dinosaur even more.

"Yeah, it's getting more and more exciting," Judai smiled. "With such an interesting monster as an opponent, it would be a pity if it ended so quickly."

As he said, he waved his hand and flipped open the face-down card in the back row: "Counter Trap 'Negate Attack'!"

"Negate the opponent's monster's attack, and then forcibly end the Battle Phase!"

Pure white air currents spewed out from the center of the trap, forming a reverse tornado completely symmetrical to the magma vortex. The moment the two forces collided, the magma was decomposed like by an invisible hand, the crimson lava blocks solidified in the air current, the boiling sulfur steam was purified into transparent water mist, and the high-temperature part was stripped away layer by layer by the air current vortex, finally turning into gray-white volcanic ash falling all over the sky.

When the last trace of magma annihilated in the air current, only the white air vortex slowly rotating remained in the center of the originally violent battlefield. Volcasaurus seemed to roar unwillingly, and the lava it dripped etched anxious claw marks on the ground.

"Blocked it with a trap, huh." Taniguchi sneered, "After all, it's Judai Yuki; it would be boring if it ended so simply."

"Then I will set a monster in face-down defense position on the field."

Taniguchi had not performed a Normal Summon this turn. He placed a monster card horizontally, and it appeared next to Volcasaurus.

"Then set a card, the turn is over."

Judai: "My turn, draw!"

He glanced at the card he drew and immediately showed it directly.

"Magic Card 'Graceful Charity.' Draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from your hand."

Judai discarded two cards from his hand into the Graveyard, and then played another card from his hand, which was the Magic Card searched to his hand in the last turn.

"Magic Card 'Miracle Contact'! This card can Fusion Summon a Neos Fusion monster by returning 'Elemental HERO Neos' and other Fusion materials from the Graveyard to the deck!"

Taniguchi frowned: "Fusing from the deck and then fusing from the Graveyard?" "Yeah," Judai rubbed his nose and smiled. "Although I don't have the power of Synchro like You Xuan or Xyz like you, even I am constantly evolving on the path of Fusion."

"I return 'Elemental HERO Neos' and 'Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab' from the Graveyard to the deck, Contact Fusion!"

The bodies of Neos and Flare Scarab appeared again from the Graveyard. Neos's silver-white body was like quantization, as if the gravitational field around him had a subtle distortion, and that silver body turned into a nebula composed of billions of golden light particles. At the same time, the shell gap of Flare Scarab suddenly burst into dazzling light like a supernova explosion, and the body closed into a streamlined shape, dragging a long plasma tail flame like a real comet.

Judai: "Scorching power, burn up! Fusion Summon—

—Elemental HERO Flare Neos!!!"

The moment the two light streams intersected in the high sky, the galaxy arm-shaped nebula suddenly materialized in the sky. Countless stars flickered at this moment, as if building a huge fusion formation, from which a waterfall-like light pillar roared down.

The moment the light pillar hit the ground, the gravel around the ground floated up. The brand-new hero seemed to have walked out of the center of a nuclear explosion, and scorching flames spewed from the seams of his armor. On his helmet were giant beetle horns. The most shocking thing was the pair of half-folded insect wings behind him, with transparent flames flowing on the membrane.

【Elemental HERO Flare Neos, ATK 2500】

"Fused a new Neos again, huh." Taniguchi snorted coldly, "But it's useless; no matter what kind of hero it is, it's futile in front of the power of 'No.'"

"That's hard to say; the possibilities of heroes are infinite."

Judai smiled confidently.

"Activate the Field Magic 'Neo Space'!"

Judai's Field Magic was pushed into the Duel Disk, and reality peeled off layer by layer like a broken mirror. A rainbow torrent with liquid texture surged out from the cracks. These seven-colored space solutions poured into the entire dueling field, turning the entire field into an alien dimension dominated by light.

"Neo Space increases the ATK of Neos Fusion monsters on my field by 500 points," Judai said.

【Elemental HERO Flare Neos, ATK 2500 -> ATK 3000】

"Then I set three cards in the back row."

Three face-down cards appeared in Judai's back row.

"Then Flare Neos's effect is activated," Judai smiled. "Elemental HERO Flare Neos, for every Magic and Trap Card on my and the opponent's field, its ATK increases by 400 points!"

Taniguchi's proud expression suddenly disappeared: "What did you say?"

"You have one face-down card on your field, and I have Neo Space and three face-down cards on my field, totaling five Magic and Trap Cards!" Judai said, "Therefore, Flare Neos's ATK increases by 2000 points!"

【Elemental HERO Flare Neos, ATK 3000 -> ATK 5000】

Taniguchi's calmness disappeared completely: "ATK 5000!?"

"Yeah, I said the possibilities of heroes are infinite!"

Judai punched the air energetically.

"Go, Flare Neos, attack 'No. 61 Volcasaurus'!

Ash Lava!!!"
