Chapter 1108

III: "Next, I Normal Summon 'Chronomaly Golden Jet' from my hand!"

Just as the name suggests, what flew out from the monster card was an airplane that looked like it was made of solid gold, circling in the air with a low hum.

It is said that the prototype of this card is an ancient American golden aircraft model. The winged golden product unearthed in the Colombian jungle in the 18th century was once misjudged as an ornament, and similar items discovered in Ecuador at the end of the 20th century were identified as ancient aircraft due to their triangular wings and aerodynamic characteristics.

"Activate the effect of Golden Jet!" III continued. "Once per turn, this card's Level increases by 1 until the end of the turn!" (Anime effect)

The physical card was changed so that it can increase the Level of all Chronomaly monsters on its field by 1, which can be said to have its own applicable scenarios.

Jaden continued to look expectant: "Two Level 5 monsters so quickly, it's coming, it's coming!"

Sure enough, the next moment he heard III continue: "I stack the Level 5 'Chronomaly Tula Guardian' and the Level 5 'Chronomaly Golden Jet'!

Two monsters build an Xyz Network, Xyz Summon!

No. 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech!!!"

The golden airplane and the rock giant both turned into light beams and flew into the Xyz Network, and astonishing energy erupted from the vortex. The air suddenly condensed the bronze-colored number "33," and the moment the number burst, layers of light wheels unfolded in the clouds, and a huge golden base was crushed out of the void. It was a floating island that looked like it was cast with anti-gravity black technology.

The entire super-ancient city sits on the floating island. The golden buildings look like they were cast from solar alloy, and the reliefs on the walls show the war epic of snake-haired figures holding energy weapons. The windows of all buildings are flickering regularly, as if there is some kind of life form inside this dead city breathing according to ancient programs.

"Is that also a monster?" Jaden exclaimed. "So big! Is that a city? There are actually such monsters?"

III said proudly: "Not bad, this is my 'No.', one of the super-ancient mysteries that mankind has not yet solved, the super-ancient sky city in Chronomaly!"

III is very fascinated by these super-ancient unsolved mysteries. Although he is young, he is already a hidden archaeology enthusiast. This is why he uses the "Chronomaly" deck, and his love for his deck is almost no less than Jaden's persistence for HEROes.

"The power of Chronomaly will guide me to victory and will never fail my father's expectations."

III drew another card from his hand and waved to Set it.

"Set one card, turn end."

"Can't fail father, fighting for family? That's really moving." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Then my turn, draw."

He glanced at the card he drew and played it directly: "Activate the Spell Card 'Graceful Charity'. Draw three cards from the Deck, then discard two cards from your hand."

Fujiki You Xuan discarded two cards into the Graveyard, then smiled slightly: "Graceful Charity is a foul-level killer for this deck today."

Two cards were just sent down, and golden light bloomed in the Graveyard of the Duel Disk.

Fujiki You Xuan raised his hand and said: "At this moment, the effect of this card just discarded from the hand, 'Dark World Instructor - Snoww', activates!"

Jaden suddenly realized: "Dark World, huh."

Dark World was once the main force under the Supreme King. After the Supreme King fell, it was the power that Fujiki You Xuan and them collected together in the otherworldly territory once ruled by the Supreme King, so Jaden is naturally no stranger to this. Therefore, Jaden also knows that most Dark World monsters can exert effects when "discarded from the hand by card effects," so saying that "Graceful Charity" is a foul-level killer for Dark World is not an exaggeration at all.

"Dark World Instructor - Snoww, when this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard, you can add one 'Dark World' card from the Deck to your hand."

Fujiki You Xuan's Deck automatically searched, and a card popped out, which he drew into his hand.

"I add the Field Spell 'The Gates of Dark World' from the Deck to my hand."

"Next, activate the Field Spell 'The Gates of Dark World'!"

The seawater of the Sunken Kingdom suddenly solidified into ink-green ice crystals, and all the corridors of the Sunken Palace disintegrated into powder in the same millisecond. Before these fragments could settle, the entire sea area was drawn away as if by a giant vacuum cleaner, exposing the cracked seabed and instantly carbonizing into scorched earth.

A dull knocking sound came from the crust, and then a cast-iron giant gate that seemed to tower into the clouds broke through the ground. That giant gate seemed to have solidified screaming faces on it, and the cold air seeping from the door cracks formed ice crystal chains in the air. Floating on the lintel was ancient demon language spelled out in obsidian, and thick sulfur liquid kept dripping between the strokes, and the door panel was a relief of a twisted demon.

In short, it looks sinister at first glance, obviously like a field used by a villain.

III looked around: "Used a new Field Spell to squeeze out my field..."

In this way, the attack restriction on Chronomaly is naturally lifted.

"Activate the effect of The Gates of Dark World." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Once per turn, banish one Fiend monster from your Graveyard, discard one Fiend monster from your hand, then draw one card from the Deck."

Snoww, who had just gone to the Graveyard, appeared above Fujiki You Xuan, and the flickering image was quickly banished and disappeared.

"I banish 'Dark World Instructor - Snoww' from the Graveyard." Fujiki You Xuan said, then discarded another card from his hand. "Then draw one card."

But immediately after he discarded the card, pitch-black lightning flashed in the Graveyard again.

"Then the card just discarded to the Graveyard is 'Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World'." Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "When Dragon Lord is discarded by a card effect, you can destroy one card on the opponent's field!

I destroy 'No. 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech'!"

Xyz Dimension duelists' decks are all built around trump cards, and most of the cards in the deck are also used to assist trump cards in battle. Therefore, when dealing with duelists of this dimension, prioritizing the destruction of trump card monsters is absolutely the first priority without question.

But of course, the opponent will not allow their trump card to be cracked so easily.

"Then activate Set card, Trap Card 'Bomb Defense'!" III said. "Can only be activated when the opponent activates an effect that destroys a monster on your field.

Negate that destruction effect and inflict 500 damage to the opponent!"

Dragon Lord's phantom spat out a chaotic vortex in the air, but a defense line built of black bomb balls was immediately released on III's field. The bomb wall exploded with a rumble the moment it touched the impact, and in an instant, it exploded into a sea of fire. The explosion's flames and heat waves blocked Dragon Lord's breath completely.
