Chapter 1109

Jaden: "Actually blocked Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan's attack, this kid really looks quite powerful."

Yubel floated to the side and said angrily: "It would be better if he could teach the Great Demon King a lesson."

Jaden laughed: "Don't say that, although Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan is a Demon King, he is also our companion after all."

Fujiki You Xuan glanced at them sideways, muttering in his heart.

Although the sentence "although he is a Demon King" is redundant, how come even Jaden says so now, and I don't know who spoiled such a good child.

"Then I Normal Summon 'Dark World Hunter - Broww'."

The Dark World Hunter holding a bow and arrow was summoned to the field, his face covered by silver armor, and after landing, he quickly drew his bow and arrow, ready to go.

【Dark World Hunter - Broww, ATK 1400】

"Then activate the other effect of 'Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World' in the Graveyard." Fujiki You Xuan said. "When Grapha exists in the Graveyard, you can Special Summon it from the Graveyard by returning one Dark World monster on your field to the owner's hand!

I return 'Dark World Hunter - Broww' on the field to my hand, revive!

Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World!!!"

In the Dark World field filled with dark chaos, the air seemed to solidify into substance, suffocatingly oppressive. Cold wind blew through the void, and the originally dim sky seemed to be torn apart by an invisible force. From the dark and deep cracks, a ferocious giant dragon descended.

The dragon's wings were incomparably broad, and every bone radiated a cold light, like wings of death plundered from the abyss of hell. Its body was winding and tortuous, and every scale was like a carefully carved work of art, but under that silver luster, it hid endless slaughter and destruction. The face was a ferocious face like a demon, the eyes were pitch-black like the abyss, and the corners of the mouth were hooked with a cold smile, as if mocking all living beings in the world. On the top of its head and back, it was covered with dense demon horns, each of which was sharp and radiated a chilling coldness.

"And the effect of The Gates of Dark World, increase the ATK of Fiend monsters by 300."

【Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World, ATK 2700 → ATK 3000】

"Battle, Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World, attack 'No. 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech'!"

Grapha suddenly raised his head covered with demon horns, and ominous dark purple light rolled in his throat. With a dragon roar that tore through the air, a pitch-black pillar of fire as thick as asphalt erupted, drawing a distorted trajectory in the air and hitting the floating ancient city directly. The entire city trembled violently in the explosion, and spider-web-like scorched cracks appeared on the east wall that was hit. But the anti-gravity device of the city base remained strong. The entire sky city tilted slightly in the smoke, but still maintained a majestic floating posture.

【III, LP 4000 → LP 3400】

"Good attack, but it's a pity." III said. "But Machu Mech is a 'No.', and it won't be defeated by monsters other than 'No.'."

Fujiki You Xuan: "Set one card, turn end."

"My turn, draw!" Back to III's turn.

He squinted his eyes slightly and glanced at the chaotic dark field around him, as well as the dark gate standing in the center of the field.

"Used the field to squeeze out my field, and this Gates of Dark World also looks like a key to operation. In that case..."

III showed the Spell in his hand: "Activate the Spell Card 'Terraforming', you can add one Field Spell Card from the Deck to your hand.

I add the Field Spell 'Chronomaly City - Babylon' from the Deck to your hand."

"Then activate the Field Spell 'Chronomaly City - Babylon'!!!"

Once again, the field changed, and the Dark World field on Fujiki You Xuan's side was occupied by III's new field. The demonic iron gate that looked like Rashomon instantly collapsed, the earth cracked, and the chaotic sky and black clouds were all dispelled. In its place was a golden ancient city, a floating field like an arena, and both sides of the battle seemed to be fighting on this high-altitude field. "Next, activate the Spell Card 'Palenque's Sarcophagus'!" III said. "This card can only be activated when there is a face-up 'Chronomaly' monster on your field. I draw two cards from the Deck!" (Anime card)

This is also an anime feature. Basically, every anime character has their own Pot of Greed for their deck.

"And at this moment, activate the Quick-Play Spell 'Serial Spell'!" III said. "By discarding all cards in my hand, copy the effect of the Spell Card just activated. Therefore, I copy the effect of 'Palenque's Sarcophagus' and draw a total of four cards from the Deck!"

III drew the cards, and then one of the cards in his hand seemed to automatically emit golden light. III waved his hand and slapped the monster card directly.

"I Special Summon 'Chronomaly Aztec Mask Golem'!"

This is one of III's favorite monsters, a red rock warrior with a very distinctive mask on his face. It originates from the Aztec civilization, one of the three major ancient civilizations in the Americas.

【Chronomaly Aztec Mask Golem, ATK 1500】

"Aztec Mask Golem is a card that can be Special Summoned directly from the hand when you activate a Normal Spell Card." III said. "Next, I Normal Summon 'Chronomaly Cabrera Trebuchet'!"

【Chronomaly Cabrera Trebuchet, ATK 0】

"Activate the effect of Trebuchet!" III said. "Chronomaly Cabrera Trebuchet can make the ATK of one monster on the opponent's field 0 by Tributing other monsters on your field!" (Original effect)

The physical card limits it to Tributing monsters with "Chronomaly" in their names on your field, but the anime has no restrictions, and even Tributing tokens to activate it is no problem.

"Therefore, I Tribute 'Chronomaly Aztec Mask Golem' to make 'Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World's ATK 0!"

The trebuchet operated rapidly, and the chains wrapped around several arms rubbed against each other, making a clattering metallic friction sound. The Mask Golem quickly jumped into the palm of the trebuchet and shot out like a cannonball, slamming into the Dragon Lord.

The Dragon Lord of Dark World trembled slightly, cracks quickly appeared where it was hit, and its body seemed to be about to collapse, its combat power falling off a cliff.

【Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World, ATK 2700 → ATK 0】

"Then at this moment, the true power of 'No. 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech' is released!"

III raised his arm and shouted.

"Machu Mech once per turn, when the ATK value of a monster on the field changes, by detaching one Xyz Material, you can inflict damage to the opponent equal to the change in that monster's ATK!" (Anime effect)

In the anime, it is a trigger effect, in other words, it can also be activated during the opponent's turn. But the physical card was changed to an active effect. The physical card is "select one monster on the field whose ATK is different from its original ATK, and inflict damage to the opponent equal to the difference between that monster's ATK and original value." Obviously, the physical card can only be activated during your own turn.

"I see, Trebuchet's effect reduces the opponent's ATK, then Machu Mech can inflict damage, and in this way, the opponent's ATK becomes 0, and further attacks can also cause huge damage."

Jaden understood.

For example, at this time, the Dragon Lord's ATK becomes 0, and Fujiki You Xuan will receive 2700 damage from its ATK at once.

Once this Chronomaly combo is established, it can easily achieve an OTK!
