Chapter 1138: Xyz Duel

Heroic Champion - Excalibur, revived!

"Revived Excalibur at this point... I see." Fujiki You Xuan understood.

Go-sh laughed: "You just said, activated the effect of 'Traptrix Myrmeleo', wanting to revive a monster from the Graveyard, right?"

"Yes." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Just now, through the effect of the Magic card 'Graceful Charity', I discarded 'Traptrix Antlion' from my hand to the Graveyard.

Through the effect of Traptrix Myrmeleo, revive Antlion from the Graveyard."

While speaking, the Traptrix loli had already yawned lazily and opened a new pitch-black vortex on the field. The red Traptrix girl appeared from the vortex and also came to Fujiki You Xuan's field.

【Traptrix Antlion, ATK 1600】

"At this moment, Heroic Champion - Excalibur's effect activates!" Go-sh said. "When the opponent Special Summons a monster of Level 4 or lower, Excalibur can detach one Xyz material from this card to destroy that monster!"

Excalibur held his bow and arrow high, and the Xyz material that the Trap card 'Xyz Reborn' had turned into was immediately absorbed into the arrow in Excalibur's hand. A burst of golden light erupted on the arrow, Excalibur suddenly let go, and the arrow shot straight toward the Traptrix with a whistling sound.

Go-sh: "Although I'm sorry, but the little girl who just appeared, get destroyed immediately!"

"However, Excalibur's effect activates 'when the opponent's monster is successfully Special Summoned', and does not negate the summon." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Antlion's summon itself has already succeeded.

And when Antlion is successfully Special Summoned, you can select a Magic or Trap card on the opponent's field and destroy that card!"

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

"Let's destroy that Set card you covered on your left hand side."

The Heroic Champion's arrow was about to fly over, but the girl ignored it, seemingly determined to at least achieve a one-for-one trade with the opponent's back row before leaving the field.

But Go-sh laughed loudly: "Hey, thinking I would entrust my defensive means to a Set card, a normal person would naturally think so, but your prediction has already been seen through by me!

Activate Set card, Trap card 'Pan Duola's Box'! Transfer the effect targeting a card in your Magic/Trap Zone to this card, then draw two cards from your deck!" (Original card)

The target of the Traptrix's dying blow was forcibly transferred, landing on the automatically flipped Pan Duola's Box. Go-sh drew two cards. At the same time, the arrow in Excalibur's hand had already arrived, piercing through the girl's chest, and the latter immediately turned into golden light and dissipated.

"Oh, this chain defense has some skill." Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes.

It seemed that although this person appeared to be a hot-blooded idiot, he wasn't just a cook who only knew how to rush. But thinking about it, it made sense; for a rusher who pursued the ultimate high-speed attack and hot-blooded experience, a certain resilience in clearing traps and stepping on mines was also necessary, otherwise, it wouldn't be hot-blooded at all.

Well, of course, resilience also had its limits.

"It seems my Traptrix isn't a match for Excalibur, so let me use this move too..."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled, then unhurriedly picked up the remaining two Traptrix girls on his Duel Disk, stacked them together, and slapped them onto the Duel Disk.

"I overlay the Level 4 'Traptrix Nepenthes' and 'Traptrix Myrmeleo'!"

Go-sh: "!"

You can Xyz Summon too!?"

Go-sh was shocked, and then he saw the two Traptrix girls both turn into purple light and fly up, gathering on the ground. The Overlay Network appeared, Xyz energy erupted, and countless dancing particles shaped into new entities in the air.

"You guy... can also Xyz Summon!?" Go-sh was greatly shocked.

Including the Kaiba Corporation personnel watching from the sidelines, they couldn't help but discuss. "The King has actually mastered Xyz..."

"Nonsense, he's the King after all."

The crowd pointed and gestured, the atmosphere quite light, as if no one took the danger of this battle with the other-dimensional person to heart.

Anyway, the Duel King had taken the field, and it was impossible to lose, so what was there to worry about?

Fujiki You Xuan: "Construct the Overlay Network with two monsters, Xyz Summon! Appear—

—Traptrix Rafflesia!"

Emerald sparks exploded in the Xyz vortex, and countless glowing ants poured out from the void. The red-haired girl stepped down slowly on the stairs paved by the ant colony, the flame color jumping on the tips of her hair forming an enchanting contrast with the emerald phosphorescence lingering around her. Her petite body of only 1.5 meters was wrapped in a black fluffy skirt, with golden armbands on her slender arms, and several flame-like tattoos crawled on her skin, which was so white it was almost transparent.

【Traptrix Rafflesia, ATK 2200】

"Traptrix Rafflesia's effect activates." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Detach two Xyz materials to select an Insect or Plant-Type Level 4 monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it.

I detach two Xyz materials to Special Summon 'Traptrix Myrmeleo' from the Graveyard again."

【Traptrix Myrmeleo, ATK 1700】

Go-sh: "That Traptrix again..."

"Not bad, Traptrix monsters can activate different effects when they are Normal Summoned or Special Summoned." Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "Traptrix Myrmeleo can revive a Traptrix from the Graveyard when Normal Summoned.

And when successfully Special Summoned, you can select a Normal Trap card with 'Hole' or 'Traphole' in its name from your Graveyard and Set it back to your field."

Fujiki You Xuan took the card that bounced back from the Graveyard and casually Set it back to the field again.

"I Set the Trap card 'Traphole of Piercing' back to the field from the Graveyard."

Go-sh's expression changed slightly, and he said unhappily: "Tch, actually recovering a Trap from the Graveyard, that's really poor spirit..."

"Battle." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Traptrix Rafflesia, attack 'Heroic Champion - Excalibur'!"

Although it was an Xyz monster, Heroic Champion - Excalibur was not a "No.", and did not have the resistance of a "No." that could not be destroyed by battle.

Go-sh waved his hand to activate the back row: "Activate Set card, Quick-Play Magic 'Battle Fund'!

Can be activated when the opponent's monster declares an attack; in this battle, neither player's monsters will be destroyed by battle!" (Original card)

The Quick-Play Magic card that Go-sh used when dueling Yuma in the anime was also a card that fit the mutual-clashing duel style that Go-sh advocated.

Sure enough, Excalibur immediately gained a layer of golden light protection, and the energy shell resisted the Traptrix's blow.

【Go-sh, LP2950 -> LP2850】

"Blocked it... well, your Excalibur has no Xyz materials left either."

An Xyz monster without materials was basically equivalent to a blank slate, at most having a rule-based effect of "this card has no level."

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then Set one more card to the field, turn end." ===== CHAPTER 1139 =====
