Chapter 1205

"Demon's Light Arrival!"

Fujiki You Xuan showed the monster card he drew.

"'Demon's Light Arrival' can be Normal Summoned without Tributing if 'Shining Sarcophagus' exists on my field," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Therefore, I Normal Summon 'Demon's Light Arrival'!"

Pitch-black thunderclouds gathered in the air, and lightning churned in the thunderclouds, like a dragon weaving through them. Ten thousand thunders fell, and the lightning transformed into the body of a demon. Red muscle tissue, golden skeleton-like exoskeleton armor covered the surface of the body, and ten thousand electric snakes leaped on every joint.

【Demon's Light Arrival, ATK 2500】

"Demon's Light Arrival?" Dumon's heart moved, "A new form of 'Summoned Skull'?"

Just like Dark Magician, Summoned Skull was also a classic old monster that existed in the ZEXAL dimension, but as a Normal Monster, it had long been eliminated in the process of history. Therefore, although Dumon recognized this card, he felt an abnormal pressure from this new armor.

And his intuition about this pressure was also correct.

"Demon's Light Arrival, monster effect," Fujiki You Xuan said, "When this card is Summoned/Special Summoned, I can target one monster on the opponent's field and gain control of that monster!"

Dumon: "!"

Another snatch!

Summoned Skull's only advantage was originally just being a Level 6 high-level monster with 2500 ATK, but now that it had joined this Sarcophagus system, it actually suddenly gained such a dirty effect; Dumon was naturally shocked.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Demon's Light Arrival, gain control of 'CNumber 102: Star Seraph Noble Demon'!"

Demon's Light Arrival exploded with thunder, and countless golden light flashes shot out like capturing hands. The lightning, like energy chains, wrapped around the fallen angel's hands and feet, and it looked like the demon could drag it back to Fujiki You Xuan's side of the field with one effort.

However...

"Don't even think about it!" Dumon shouted, "Activate Set card, Counter Trap 'Xyz Reflection'!"

The Set Counter Trap flipped, and domineering energy was released instantly. Faint golden light enveloped the body of Star Seraph Noble Demon, like a protective eggshell, isolating all the thousands of electric lights shot by the demon.

"'Xyz Reflection' is a Counter Trap that can only be activated when an Xyz monster on the field becomes the target of a Spell, Trap, or monster effect."

Dumon struck with a heavy punch.

"Negate that activation, destroy that card, and then inflict 800 points of damage to the opponent!"

Violent light immediately bit back on the defensive shield, following the demon's current all the way back to Demon's Light Arrival. The demon immediately exploded into pieces from the inside out, the shattered golden skeleton scattered all over the sky, and the released electric arcs seemed to weave into a golden network.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP3500 -> LP2700】

"Actually wanting to take control of my Number," Dumon's face was cold, "Don't underestimate our Seven Barian Emperors too much! The Number is our soul; no one can cut the bond between us!"

If he had heard this during the anime serialization, it would have been fine, but Fujiki You Xuan, who already knew the truth, felt a bit funny in his heart when he heard this again.

Because he knew the truth about these seven Number cards over 100 held by the Seven Barian Emperors. The Seven Emperors seemed to regard these few Numbers as their souls, firmly believing in their Decks and trump cards at all times, not knowing that their tragic fate was caused by this.

The Seven Emperors were originally humans, all had noble sentiments and bright futures, but were intercepted by the evil Don Thousand before their souls ascended. Don Thousand cursed each of their souls, caused them to fall into the Barian world, and concretized the curses of the seven of them into seven cards that always accompanied them; those cards were these seven Numbers over 100 they trusted the most. "Demon's Light Arrival actually didn't work; amazing," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Then activate the effect of Continuous Spell 'Shining Sarcophagus'.

Once per turn, during my Main Phase, I can add one related card with 'Shining Sarcophagus' in its card name from my Deck to my hand."

The Sarcophagus lid, engraved with reliefs, slowly moved away, revealing the gap that exuded a holy aura. White light was released from the gap and fell into Fujiki You Xuan's hand, gathering into the form of a card.

Fujiki You Xuan showed the card condensed from light in his hand: "Add this card from my Deck, Destruction Dragon Gandora G, to my hand!"

"Destruction Dragon!?" Dumon's heart trembled.

This was also a name he seemed to be somewhat familiar with.

He had heard that the legendary monster "Destruction Dragon Gandora" was a monster with terrifying ability that could influence the outcome of the game as soon as it appeared. But for the ZEXAL dimension, that was already a card from the early days, and it was extremely rare and had long been lost, so Dumon had only heard of it but had never seen it.

And what he had heard of was only the classic old armor; this Destruction Dragon with a G in its name was a completely rare variety.

"Destruction Dragon Gandora G is also a Sarcophagus monster. This card can be Special Summoned directly from the hand if 'Shining Sarcophagus' exists on my field."

Fujiki You Xuan raised his hand.

"The absolute destructive power that turns all things in the world into atoms, Destruction Dragon Gandora G, descend!"

It was as if thousands of eyes were lit up from the pitch-black abyss, red light quickly arranged and connected in the darkness, countless red light lines combined into red light lines in the darkness, and those lines outlined the form of a huge dragon.

The darkness faded instantly, as if a hundred eyes opened at the same time, each eye shooting dark red beams outward, so a hundred light lines crisscrossed, as if dividing space into countless fragments.

【Destruction Dragon Gandora G, ATK 0】

"Destruction Dragon Gandora G, monster effect activates!" Fujiki You Xuan said, "Once per turn, pay half of my LP, destroy all other cards on the field except this card, and banish them!"

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP1350】

Dumon: "What did you say!?"

Full field destruction, and even instant banishment!

He immediately understood what the power of "influencing the outcome of the game" in the legend of Destruction Dragon meant. It was completely literal, with the terrifying power to clear the table in one breath and complete an instant kill.

But after the shock, Dumon laughed instead of being angry, laughing loudly: "Destruction Dragon Gandora G, this seems to be your trump card for the instant kill. It is indeed a powerful effect.

But unfortunately, this instant kill effect will instead become the fuse for your own defeat!"

Dumon shouted loudly.

"CNumber 102: Star Seraph Noble Demon, effect activates!

When this card on the field is destroyed by battle or effect, detach all Xyz Materials from this card, and negate that destruction!"
