Chapter 1206

Noble Demon's effect activated, and all the remaining Chaos Xyz Materials around him were released. The Chaos energy exploded, blocking in front of him like a barrier.

Destruction Dragon's destructive energy swept across like a hot knife through butter, thousands of red lights, like wills with slashes, crisscrossed regardless of friend or foe.

The Gadget Trio on Fujiki You Xuan's own field, the red, green, and yellow gears, were all cut into countless fragments by the crisscrossing red light. In fact, this non-directional attack didn't even avoid the Sarcophagus, but when Destruction Dragon's laser cut across the Sarcophagus, it seemed to cut on a layer of pale gold film and failed to cut the Sarcophagus body itself.

Because Shining Sarcophagus had the resistance of "cannot be destroyed by monster effects."

That cutting light was also blocked by the energy barrier transformed from the Xyz Materials on Star Seraph Noble Demon. More light then slashed towards the Set card in Dumon's backrow, but the opponent immediately chained and activated that Set card.

"It's not over yet, next I will also chain Star Seraph Noble Demon's effect, activate Set card, Trap Card 'Number Xyz Promotion'!"

Dumon shouted.

"This card can only be activated by targeting one 'Number' monster on my field that has no Xyz Materials, and I can take two monster cards from my hand as Xyz Materials and overlay them under that monster!"

This combination is actually unusable in the physical card environment because the physical card and anime effects of Noble Demon are actually different.

The physical card Noble Demon can detach two Xyz Materials to replace destruction when it is destroyed; it is processed when it is destroyed, belonging to a Continuous Effect rather than an active activation effect.

But the Noble Demon in the anime can be activated by "detaching all Xyz Materials" when this card is about to be destroyed; it is an active activation effect, and the Xyz Materials on the body must be detached as the activation COST when activated.

Precisely because all the Xyz Materials on the body were detached when activated, satisfying the condition of "no Xyz Materials on the body," the Trap Card "Number Xyz Promotion" could be activated on this same chain.

Dumon put two more cards from his hand under the Noble Demon on the field, and the new two Xyz Materials immediately circled around Noble Demon like satellites again.

"And, after Star Seraph Noble Demon used the effect of negating destruction," Dumon shouted, "Inflict damage to the opponent equal to this card's ATK... which is 2900 points!"

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP1350】

A desperate counter-kill!

Dumon, who seemed to have been forced into a desperate situation, suddenly overtook on a curve, and this blow would instantly reverse the situation and determine the victory!

But at this critical moment, a ball of light jumped out of Fujiki You Xuan's hand. The ball of light cracked from the inside with a snap, and a fluffy little ball jumped out, opening its arms to block in front.

Clean Kuriboh!

"The effect of Clean Kuriboh, discard this card from my hand to the Graveyard," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Negate the monster effect that inflicts damage."

The fallen angel's counterattack was instantly eliminated. At the same time, the violent energy of Destruction Dragon Gandora G swept across, destroying and shattering everything, including the Gadget Trio on Fujiki You Xuan's field.

"When Gadget Trio is destroyed, set Trap Card 'Hidden City - Solid Fortress' from my Deck to my backrow." Fujiki You Xuan set another backrow card.

Dumon frowned slightly. In any case, Destruction Dragon's blow was resisted; although this desperate counter-kill failed to kill him, at least Noble Demon's Xyz Materials were preserved. This turn should be stable...

"The subsequent effect of Destruction Dragon Gandora G, after destroying and banishing all cards on the field, I can then Special Summon a monster with 'Shining Sarcophagus' in its card name from my Deck.

I Special Summon 'Marshmallon' from my Deck!"

【Marshmallon, ATK 300】

Marshmallon wearing glasses popped out, and its body bounced on the ground elastically: "Kept you waiting, this big guy is here!"

Dumon: "Fighting to this step, is there actually a chance for such small fry to appear?"

Marshmallon was immediately angry: "Who are you calling small fry!?"

As he spoke, an angry tic-tac-toe mark appeared on his forehead.

"That's right," Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "This 'small fry' is my final trump card."

This not only surprised Dumon, but even Marshmallon itself looked at its master in shock: "Eh?"

Trump card? Me?

It looked at its own small body with only 300 ATK suspiciously and began to think seriously about what it could actually do.

"'Destruction Dragon Gandora - Giga Rays' in my hand can be Special Summoned by sending two monsters from my hand/field to the Graveyard!

I send 'Destruction Dragon Gandora G' on the field and 'Sangan' in my hand to the Graveyard! Release the forbidden power of destruction, appear in that invincible posture—

—Destruction Dragon Gandora - Giga Rays!!!"

Thousands of eyes lit up with red light again, and in the network of crisscrossing red light, the giant dragon let out a dragon roar that reached the sky.

【Destruction Dragon Gandora - Giga Rays, ATK 0】 Dumon gritted his teeth: "Another new Destruction Dragon..."

But he thought in his heart that even if it blew up again, he wouldn't be afraid. He had already made a second preparation; Star Seraph Noble Demon now had two new Xyz Materials, and the ability to negate destruction could still be used.

And conversely, the opponent should not dare to blow it up easily. If the opponent destroyed Star Seraph Noble Demon, Noble Demon would detach Xyz Materials to negate the destruction, and in turn, would reflect 2900 points of damage equal to Noble Demon's own ATK to the opponent, so he would win...

"The effect of 'Sangan' that was just sent to the Graveyard," Fujiki You Xuan said, "When this card is sent to the Graveyard, I can add one monster with 1500 or less ATK from my Deck to my hand." (Original effect)

Fujiki You Xuan drew the card that popped out of the Deck.

"I add 'Junk Kuriboh' with 300 ATK from my Deck to my hand."

Dumon was stunned.

Another Kuriboh?

He suddenly felt that something was wrong.

"The effect of Destruction Dragon Gandora - Giga Rays! This card gains different effects based on the number of 'Destruction Dragon' monsters in my Graveyard.

Now I have 'Destruction Dragon Gandora G' in my Graveyard, one type.

Therefore, Giga Rays' effect is, once per turn, pay half of my LP, destroy all other cards on the field!"

Sure enough, it came again!

Dumon already felt the danger, but he had no choice and had to bite the bullet: "Then activate the effect of Star Seraph Noble Demon! Detach all Xyz Materials, negate its own destruction, and inflict damage to the opponent equal to this monster's ATK!

Go to hell by your own power!"

Dumon roared, and at the same time, the two Xyz Materials of Star Seraph Noble Demon exploded, blasting towards Fujiki You Xuan.

"Then discard 'Junk Kuriboh' that was just searched to my hand, negate and destroy the Spell, Trap, or monster effect that inflicts damage to me!"

Dumon: "Uh..."

He narrowed his eyes.

This bastard Kuriboh actually has such an effect...

Destruction Dragon's Giga Rays instantly swept the entire field, with unparalleled destructive power, and the wave of destruction swallowed everything. Even Marshmallon on Fujiki You Xuan's field shouted "Hot, hot, hot" in surprise and was rolled into it and burned to ashes.

"Marshmallon on my field was also destroyed by Giga Rays' effect, but at this moment, Marshmallon's effect activates."

Fujiki You Xuan said calmly.

"When Marshmallon is destroyed by an effect, I can Special Summon another 'Marshmallon' from my hand, Deck, Graveyard, or banished state.

And inflict 1000 points of damage to the opponent."

Dumon was petrified.

H-how much?

Only to see Marshmallon, which had just been annihilated in the energy torrent of Destruction Dragon, immediately pop out again, proudly puffing out its chest: "I, am resurrected!"

"Then Marshmallon's effect," Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "1000 points of damage."

【Dumon, LP1000】

Dumon: "."

Marshmallon's body bounced up elastically on the ground, a phase dash.

"Charge!"

Then it slammed into Dumon's stomach.

【Dumon, LP1000 -> LP0】
