Chapter 1222: Immortal Hand

"Summon Inzektor Dragonfly!"

Although Inzektors are set as bugs, and their monster cards clearly state Insect-Type, in fact, they look more like Warrior-Type.

From the body curves of Dragonfly summoned to the field, it can be clearly seen that it is human, just wearing a set of exoskeleton armor imitating the shape of a beetle. The cross-section designed helmet covers the eyes, but the fair chin exposed in the lower part is clearly human. Behind it, a pair of dragonfly-shaped wings flap, and it holds firearm armament with a scope design.

【Inzektor Dragonfly, ATK 1000】

"Inzektor Dragonfly's effect, once per turn, target an 'Inzektor' monster from your hand or Graveyard and equip it to this card as an Equip Card."

Fujiki You Xuan showed the monster card he just searched and added to his hand last turn.

"Equip 'Inzektor Hornet' from my hand to 'Inzektor Dragonfly'."

The yellow and black warrior wearing Hornet armor flew out from Fujiki You Xuan's hand, transformed into an armed form in mid-air, and landed in Dragonfly's hand.

"The equipped monster gains levels equal to the Hornet's own level, and its ATK and DEF increase by the Hornet's own values," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Therefore, Dragonfly's ATK increases by 500."

【Inzektor Dragonfly, ATK 1000 → ATK 1500】

Alito: "Oh? Challenging my 'Hand' by increasing values with the help of a companion?"

But he followed with a contemptuous smile.

"Heh. But as expected, bugs are bugs, no matter how you increase the power..."

But then Fujiki You Xuan continued: "Then activate the second effect of 'Inzektor Hornet' equipped to Dragonfly. Send this card equipped to a monster to the Graveyard, and you can use Hornet as ammunition to destroy any one card on the field!"

Alito frowned: "So the goal wasn't to increase ATK?"

Fujiki You Xuan pulled the Equip Card from the slot behind the Duel Disk and sent it to the Graveyard.

"Destroy 'Battlin' Boxer Headgeared'!"

Dragonfly looked through the scope, locked onto the target, and pulled the trigger. The Hornet armament broke through the air and shot out, piercing through the center of the Battlin' Boxer Headgeared's palm with one shot, ice crystal debris splashed everywhere, and the entire palm was blown into slag.

Alito's field instantly became empty, but he laughed instead of being angry: "Heh, an attack completely within expectations."

"Activate Battlin' Boxer Headgeared's monster effect!"

Alito waved his large hand.

"When Battlin' Boxer Headgeared is destroyed by the opponent and sent to the Graveyard, I can target one Magic or Trap card on the opponent's field and destroy that card!"

But I saw endless ice crystals shooting from the broken Battlin' Boxer Headgeared, shooting toward the set card in Fujiki You Xuan's backrow.

The set card flipped, and it was the Trap Card "Bottomless Trap Hole." It can only be activated when the opponent Special Summons a monster with 2000 or more ATK. The effect of that monster with 2000 or more ATK is negated and destroyed.

"Whoa, it's actually such a dangerous trap, good luck." Alito snorted. "And after the backrow is destroyed, I can then Special Summon a 'Battlin' Boxer Switchitter' from the deck!"

At this time, a flame shot out from the deck and landed on Alito's field, also transforming into the shape of a hand. The huge rock hand opened, and all five fingers were burning with flames.

【Battlin' Boxer Switchitter, ATK 1600】

"Your attack instead further drew out my more powerful Hand." Alito snorted coldly.

Fujiki You Xuan tilted his head: "Then, activate Inzektor Dragonfly's effect. When the monster equipped to Dragonfly is sent to the Graveyard, I can then Special Summon a new 'Inzektor' monster from the deck." Another golden light flew out from Fujiki You Xuan's deck. But this time, what transformed was not beetle armament, but a centipede. From the form, it was a heavy-duty armor type, with pincer-like structures on both arms, and the whole body was full of barbs from head to toe.

"Special Summon 'Inzektor Centipede' from the deck!"

【Inzektor Centipede, ATK 1600】

Alito: "Another new bug?"

"Inzektor Centipede's effect," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Once per turn, during my Main Phase, I can choose an 'Inzektor' monster from my hand or Graveyard to equip to this card."

"I once again equip 'Inzektor Hornet' from the Graveyard to Centipede."

Hornet flew out from the Graveyard again, transformed into an armed form, and fixed onto the weapon on Centipede's arm.

"And once again, 'Inzektor Hornet's' effect," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Send Hornet to the Graveyard again to destroy any one card on the field."

"I send 'Inzektor Hornet' to the Graveyard and destroy 'Battlin' Boxer Switchitter'."

Hornet was fired as a cannonball again, and the newly appeared Battlin' Boxer Switchitter was also pierced through the palm, shattering completely. The vortex of flames released from the broken core distorted the air with high temperature.

"Actually had a second shot." Alito said. "But it's still useless! Then activate the effect of 'Battlin' Boxer Sparrer' from my hand at this moment."

"Battlin' Boxer Sparrer exists in the hand or Graveyard, and when a face-up monster I control with 1600 original ATK is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, I Special Summon this card!

Come, Battlin' Boxer Sparrer!"

Golden thunder gathered on the field, transforming into the shape of a hand. Crackling lightning exploded pitch-black scorch marks on the ground one after another.

【Battlin' Boxer Sparrer, ATK 1600】

"And, Battlin' Boxer Sparrer can destroy one card on the opponent's field when Special Summoned," Alito said. "Destroy the newly appeared 'Inzektor Centipede'!"

Battlin' Boxer Sparrer's fingers locked onto Centipede's direction, and golden lightning shot from the fingertips, hitting the target head-on. Centipede's armor was pierced, and the latter instantly exploded into fragments.

"And, Battlin' Boxer Switchitter's effect also activated when destroyed," Alito said. "Battlin' Boxer Switchitter can Special Summon 'Battlin' Boxer Headgeared' from the deck again, whether destroyed by battle or effect!"

The flame vortex remaining on the field turned from fire to ice, and the ice crystals condensed, transforming into the shape of a five-fingered palm again, and the ice crystals spread rapidly along the ground.

【Battlin' Boxer Headgeared, ATK 1400】

"My Hand is immortal," Alito sneered. "Said it before, I will let you see the absolute gap between mortals and us Seven Emperors!"

Battlin' Boxer Switchitter, Battlin' Boxer Headgeared, tricky monsters that can leave last words whether destroyed by battle or effect. This is also the main feature of Alito's "Hand" deck.

"It does look a bit troublesome." Fujiki You Xuan said. "But even if you destroyed Centipede, Centipede's effect has already activated."

"When the Equip Card on Inzektor Centipede is sent to the Graveyard, I can then add an 'Inzektor' monster from the deck to my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan's deck executed an automatic search again, and a card was drawn into his hand.

"The one I want to add to my hand this time is 'Inzektor Giga-Mantis'." ===== CHAPTER 1223 =====
