Chapter 1223: Giga-Mantis

"Add 'Inzektor Giga-Mantis' from the deck to my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan showed the hand he searched.

"Inzektor Giga-Mantis's monster effect, this card can be equipped from the hand to an 'Inzektor' monster on my field as an Equip Card."

"I equip 'Inzektor Giga-Mantis' to 'Inzektor Dragonfly' on my field."

This time it was a Level 6 high-level beetle, the image of a huge mantis with green armor flashed briefly on the field, then quickly transformed into a mantis giant blade, spun twice, and landed heavily in Dragonfly's hand.

"The equipped monster's original ATK becomes 2400, the same as Giga-Mantis," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Dragonfly's ATK increases to 2400!"

【Inzektor Dragonfly, ATK 1000 → ATK 2400】

"Then let's use battle," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Inzektor Dragonfly, attack 'Battlin' Boxer Sparrer'."

Dragonfly, having gained the mantis armament, increased its power greatly, stepped on the ground and leaped up, the mantis giant blade slashing out in a spin. The Battlin' Boxer Sparrer immediately released lightning from its five fingers to block, but even the lightning was slashed into several pieces by the blade, and the lightning hand also shattered into pieces.

【Alito, LP 4000 → LP 3200】

"Tsk." Alito snorted. "When Battlin' Boxer Sparrer is summoned by its own special effect, if this card leaves the field, it is banished directly from the game instead of being sent to the Graveyard."

Battlin' Boxer Sparrer has a powerful effect of special summoning itself and blowing up cards, but the price is that it has no last words, and it will be banished directly when it leaves the field.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Set a card, turn end."

"Then my turn, draw!"

Alito drew a card, then narrowed his eyes and sneered.

"With this, the preparations are complete, you guy, just fall into the bottomless hell. I then Normal Summon this card from my hand, 'Battlin' Boxer Magic Hand' in Attack Position!"

Alito slapped another monster card onto the Duel Disk, and what was summoned was a square magic box. The box clicked open, and a red magic palm dragged a long magic spring and popped out of the box.

【Battlin' Boxer Magic Hand, ATK 800】

"Next, let's go all out!" Alito said. "I overlay Level 4 'Battlin' Boxer Magic Hand' and 'Battlin' Boxer Headgeared' on the field! Two monsters construct the Overlay Network, Xyz Summon!"

Alito shouted, and two light beams of the hand entered the overlay network, and the energy exploded. Thick rock constructed a pitch-black palm, and the five fingers of the open palm each bloomed with golden lightning at the fingertips, crackling and exploding pitch-black scorch marks on the ground one after another.

"Appear, Number 106: Giant Hand!!!"

【Number 106: Giant Hand, ATK 2000】

Mr. Heartland, who was watching the battle, began to flatter: "It appeared, Lord Alito's Giant Hand! Hahaha, stupid humans, you have no chance anymore!"

At this time, Yuma and Kaito were also fighting with Mr. Heartland's two subordinates, and both of them couldn't help but be distracted and look over during the duel.

"Number over one hundred!" Yuma looked at Astral. "Astral! This is..."

"Hmm, it can't be wrong, the exclusive power of the Barian Seven Emperors, every one of them is a terrifying monster with the ability to reverse the situation in an instant." Astral's expression was solemn.

They had briefly fought with Vector before going to the Fusion Dimension, and although they didn't decide the winner, they had seen Vector's Over-Hundred Numbers.

But Kaito was seeing it for the first time, and his heart was shocked: "Over-hundred Numbers? So Numbers aren't just one hundred? And this aura..."

It was indeed a power that regular Numbers couldn't compare to. Kaito glanced at Fujiki You Xuan, who was in the middle of the battle.

Well, but if it's this guy, it should be fine.

"Summoned the trump card so quickly," Fujiki You Xuan said. "But do I need to remind you? Even if Numbers cannot be destroyed by battle, your ATK is not enough."

"Is that really so?" Alito shook a card in his hand. "Activate Equip Spell 'Guardian of Order', equip it to 'Number 106: Giant Hand'!"

The magic image appeared behind that giant palm, releasing a layer of golden light that covered the surface of Giant Hand, and the pale golden transparent flowing light protected it within.

"Battle!" Alito said. "Use 'Number 106: Giant Hand' to attack 'Inzektor Dragonfly'!"

Giant Hand's four fingers gripped, forming a fist, and at the same time, one finger pointed forward. A chaotic cyclone erupted from the fingertip, and the moment it shot out, the golden light of the Guardian of Order that shrouded the surroundings was also shrouded into that cyclone, making the momentum of that attack suddenly strengthen again.

"Guardian of Order's effect, place a Magic Counter when the equipped monster battles," Alito said. "And for every counter placed, Giant Hand's ATK increases by 500!"

【Number 106: Giant Hand, ATK 2000 → ATK 2500】

"In this way, the ATK exceeds that armor bug," Alito said in a deep voice. "Disappear, stinky bug!"

Fujiki You Xuan said: "Then activate set card, Trap Card 'Battle Simulation'!

This card can be activated when monsters battle, making both monsters' combat power become half of their original values only during the battle, and neither will be destroyed by this battle." (Anime card)

【Number 106: Giant Hand, ATK 2500 → ATK 1250】

【Inzektor Dragonfly, ATK 2400 → ATK 1200】

Giant Hand's impact pierced through Dragonfly, and the weakened impact passed through Fujiki You Xuan like an electric current.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000 → LP 3950】

Fujiki You Xuan stood still and took the impact; this level naturally didn't even count as scraping. And protected by Battle Simulation, Dragonfly was not destroyed.

"Blocked it with a little trick, then set a card, turn end," Alito said.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then my turn, draw."

"Activate Spell Card 'Graceful Charity', draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan glanced at the cards he drew, then immediately ordered Dragonfly on the field: "Then first, it's this card, Inzektor Dragonfly's effect.

Once per turn, I can choose an 'Inzektor' monster from my hand or Graveyard to use as an Equip Card for itself."

"From hand or Graveyard," Alito said in a deep voice, "another round?"

"As expected of the Seven Emperors, the comprehension ability is fast." Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "Not bad. The one I want to choose is naturally 'Inzektor Hornet' in the Graveyard.

Equip 'Inzektor Hornet' to 'Inzektor Dragonfly' once again."

The phantom of Hornet, which had been resurrected daily, appeared on the field again, looking lazy, as if it had become numb to the continuous overtime work of resurrection.

What happens next can naturally be predicted. Equip Hornet and send it to the Graveyard to blow up a card, Dragonfly searches for Centipede, Centipede equips Hornet, Hornet blows up a card, Centipede then searches again...

"That won't do!"

Alito's tone rose sharply, and he shouted.

"At this moment, Number 104: Giant Hand's effect activates! When the opponent's effect monster activates an effect, remove one Xyz Material, target any one effect monster on the opponent's field, and negate the effect of the targeted monster, and it cannot change its battle position!"
