Chapter 1274: Thousand-Wang Zuo of Don Thousand

"This turn I just recovered 1600 Life Points, so 'No. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost - Soul Puppet Master's' effect activates!"

Don Thousand's clone said.

"Soul Puppet Master's ATK increases by 1600, and inflicts 1600 damage to you!"

【No. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost - Soul Puppet Master, ATK 0 -> ATK 1600】

Dark fluctuations radiated from that giant throne again and were absorbed into Puppet Master's body. Puppet Master's momentum soared by a section instantly, his five fingers danced, puppet threads danced, and violent dark fluctuations backlashed toward Fujiki You Xuan.

Crow: "Recovering his own Life Points, increasing the monster's ATK, and then also inflicting effect damage... isn't this too reckless?"

"What a powerful combination!" Yusei also said. "No matter how much damage is received, Thousand-Wang Zuo of Don Thousand can instantly recover Life Points. Then, while recovering health, it will chain to trigger the increase in its own ATK and effect damage to the opponent..."

Jack: "In other words, the more you attack, the more disadvantageous it will be to yourself if you fail to complete a one-turn kill."

Akiza was worried again: "Fujiki You Xuan..."

"My turn, draw." It was Don Thousand's clone's turn.

At this time, golden light surged on Fujiki You Xuan's Continuous Spell in the back row, making the half of the field where he was located look a bit flickering for a short time.

Fujiki You Xuan also drew cards from the deck in one breath: "Nightmare's Mirage effect, during the Standby Phase of the opponent's turn, I draw cards until I have four cards in my hand."

Don Thousand's clone looked at the drawn cards, added them to his hand, raised his head, and said directly: "Battle Phase. Use 'No. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost - Soul Puppet Master' to attack 'Inzektor Dragonfly'!"

"What?" Crow said. "But even if this Puppet Master's ATK is increased, it shouldn't be higher than Dragonfly..."

Yusei reminded: "This is his purpose."

Sure enough, only to see all the fingers of Puppet Master dancing, manipulating the threads to drag the Deadly Sin Spider, which was being hung by the threads, to crash into Dragonfly. Dragonfly responded cautiously, slashing with its mantis blade, and with a flash of green light, it slashed the Deadly Sin Spider back in one blow.

Don Thousand's clone: "Numbers naturally cannot be destroyed by battle with monsters other than Numbers."

Yusei said: "He actively attacks and takes damage, recovers Life Points through 'Thousand-Wang Zuo of Don Thousand' at the end of the turn, and this part of the damage will be reflected to Fujiki You Xuan."

"What a despicable means!" Crow was indignant. "In this way, he doesn't need to summon powerful monsters to win at all?"

But Don Thousand's clone's tactics hadn't ended yet: "Then activate Quick-Play Spell 'Double Cyclone'.

This card can simultaneously select one Magic/Trap Card on my field and one on the opponent's field, and destroy all those two Magic/Trap Cards!"

Don Thousand's clone first pointed at the giant pot remaining on his field last turn, and then pointed at one of the set cards on Fujiki You Xuan's field opposite.

"Destroy my own 'Damage Pot', and then destroy that set card on your field."

Red and golden whirlwinds rose from the ground, forming two tornadoes, one going back and one going forward, sweeping toward the back rows of both sides respectively.

Don Thousand's clone's Damage Pot took the brunt and was immediately shredded in the golden storm. Only to see the pot body crack, and some violent energy that seemed to have been originally sealed inside went out of control, exploding in mid-air on the field like an energy bomb, blasting toward both sides indiscriminately.

Don Thousand's clone: "Damage Pot's follow-up effect is that when this card leaves the field, it will simultaneously inflict damage equal to the value it absorbed to both players!"

Yusei and the others' expressions changed drastically: "Nani?"

Damage Pot was activated when Fujiki You Xuan's Inzektor Dragonfly attacked last turn, negating the battle damage Dragonfly inflicted. At that time, Dragonfly's ATK was 2400, which was the damage value absorbed by Damage Pot.

At this time, Damage Pot exploded. If both sides received 2400 damage simultaneously, Don Thousand, who could recover health infinitely, would naturally be fine. But Fujiki You Xuan's Life Points were only 1900 at this time!

Akiza: "Fujiki You Xuan!"

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers: "Then chain to activate this set card locked by your Double Cyclone, Trap Card 'Damage Diet'! This card can halve all battle and effect damage I receive this turn."

A transparent barrier was released in front of Fujiki You Xuan, forming a buffer zone. All the damage erupted onto that buffer zone, the energy was diluted, and the impact was far less than before.

【Don Thousand's clone, LP 3200 -> LP 800】

Damage Diet only halved the effect damage to himself; the damage Don Thousand's clone suffered was naturally the original 2400 points.

"And, at the same time as Damage Diet was activated, I chained the Quick-Play Spell 'Emergency Provisions'." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Emergency Provisions recovers 1000 Life Points for each Magic/Trap Card on my field sent to the Graveyard.

I send the activating Trap Card 'Damage Diet' and the Continuous Spell 'Nightmare's Mirage' to the Graveyard together, recovering 2000 Life Points."

The two cards in the back row were decomposed into light spots and dissipated, absorbed by the Emergency Provisions card, as if they were transferred through the Emergency Provisions card, and after conversion, they turned into golden warm currents and merged into Fujiki You Xuan's body.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 700 -> LP 2700】

"Good!" Crow praised. "In this way, not only did he survive this blow, but he should also be able to withstand that wave of huge damage at the end of the turn!"

This round of slashing failed, but Don Thousand's clone didn't seem angry or frustrated: "Then set two cards, turn end."

Of course, the moment he declared the end, the pitch-black throne at the end of the long staircase exploded with intense darkness again. Tentacle-like vines shot out from all directions, wrapping around Don Thousand's clone's hands and feet, and endless dark currents were replenished into his body like a continuous stream of energy.

"Thousand-Wang Zuo of Don Thousand's effect, I recover Life Points equal to the damage I received this turn," Don Thousand's clone said.

【Don Thousand's clone, LP 800 -> LP 4000】

"This moment, No. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost - Soul Puppet Master's effect activates," Don Thousand's clone said. "When my Life Points recover, this card's ATK increases by that value!"

【No. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost - Soul Puppet Master, ATK 1600 -> ATK 4800】

Jack was most sensitive to high-ATK big monsters: "4800 ATK!?"

"Not only that," Yusei's expression was solemn. "It's coming!"

Don Thousand's clone: "And, I can inflict damage to the opponent equal to the value I recovered, which is 3200 points!"

Domineering energy gathered and swirled in front of that gloomy Puppet Master, as if turning into a spiral arrow and shooting toward Fujiki You Xuan!

"But 'Damage Diet's' effect is still valid this turn," Fujiki You Xuan said. "All damage I receive is still halved."

The dark current impact was weakened again in the transparent buffer zone, and then swept past Fujiki You Xuan's body.
