Chapter 132

Gate Guardian, summon!

"This is the crystallization of our brotherhood's power, the strongest guardian formed by the union of the three Demon Gods!" the older Labyrinth brother shouted.

The younger Labyrinth brother: "That's right, now that Gate Guardian has appeared, you have absolutely no chance left!"

Putting everything else aside, the pressure from this monster is truly immense, with its massive size and the intangible power faintly radiating from it.

Of course, Fujiki You Xuan knows that in GX, this thing is currently just a big blank slate, and it should also be considered a big monster with untapped potential.

Of course, this early-stage Gate Guardian is not entirely without merit. For instance, it was once the Warrior-type monster with the highest attack power in the card pool, and it was also the only 11-star big monster in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh! until Yubel appeared; even the legendary Three Phantom Gods and Three Sacred Beasts were only 10 stars—it is simply terrifying.

The older Labyrinth brother: "I set one more card on the field, turn end."

Judai stared at the Gate Guardian in a daze for a long while, and only now did he look at Fujiki You Xuan with excitement.

"It seems like something incredible has come out!" he said with a smile, "We can't lose on our side either, Fujiki You Xuan."

"Of course. My turn, draw." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Spell card 'Adversity's Treasure'! When the opponent has a Special Summoned monster and I have no monsters on my field, I draw two cards." (Original card)

After drawing, Fujiki You Xuan revealed another card from his hand.

"Spell card 'Ojama Ride'! Send one 'Ojama Green', 'Ojama Yellow', and 'Ojama Black' each from my hand to the Graveyard, and Special Summon three Level 4 or lower Machine-type Union monsters and Union-related monsters from my deck to my field in Defense Position!" (Original card)

The Ojama deck in this world contains a large number of support cards that Manjoume used in the original work, so it can pull off various tricks that don't exist in reality.

The deck searched, and Fujiki You Xuan revealed three cards in one breath.

"Special Summon 'X-Head Cannon', 'Y-Dragon Head', and 'Z-Metal Tank'!"

【X-Head Cannon, Defense 1500】

【Y-Dragon Head, Defense 1600】

【Z-Metal Tank, Defense 1300】

"Monsters Special Summoned by this effect cannot change their battle position, but they can combine." Fujiki You Xuan said, "'X-Head Cannon', 'Y-Dragon Head', 'Z-Metal Tank', transform and combine!"

The triple transformation and combination of XYZ; the three-colored mechs assembled rapidly, turning into the fully armed XYZ-Dragon Cannon, which landed with a boom as it stepped on its metal treads.

XYZ-Dragon Cannon, summon!

【XYZ-Dragon Cannon, Attack 2800】

"Oh, you summoned a monster of this level in one go?" the younger Labyrinth brother frowned, "I remember this guy's effect; it should indeed be able to destroy any card on the field by discarding a card from the hand. A very troublesome guy."

"If 'Gate Guardian' is targeted, it will be troublesome." the older Labyrinth brother shouted, "Therefore, I activate my set card! Trap card - Raigeki Break! By discarding one card from my hand, I can destroy one card on the field!"

He pulled out a card from his hand and discarded it to the Graveyard zone.

"Discard one card, destroy 'XYZ-Dragon Cannon'!"

Black clouds opened in mid-air, and a hand slowly reached out. Thunder descended from the sky, and a golden bolt of lightning struck the Dragon Cannon; the mech was instantly blown to pieces and left the field.

Judai: "Ah, what a pity. It's rare to summon such a powerful monster as Dragon Cannon."

"It's fine." Fujiki You Xuan said calmly, "Then I will continue by activating the Spell card 'Ojama Mandara' from my hand. Pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 'Ojama Green', 'Ojama Black', and 'Ojama Yellow' from the Graveyard." (Original card)

This card is not exclusive to the anime; although it hasn't been released as a physical card, it is included in many Yu-Gi-Oh! video games, including Duel Links and Tag Force.

【Fujiki You Xuan & Judai, LP 8000 -> LP 7000】

"I revive the Ojama brothers I just discarded from the Graveyard!"

【Ojama Green, Defense 1000】

【Ojama Yellow, Defense 1000】

【Ojama Black, Defense 1000】

The younger Labyrinth brother: "Tch, they're clearly small-fry monsters, yet they're so persistent."

"But it's meaningless no matter how many small-fry you call out." the older Labyrinth brother said, "Using more walls to obstruct is just a waste of time."

"That's not necessarily true."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and slowly drew another card from his hand.

"Don't underestimate the potential of 'small-fry'."

"Activate the Spell card 'Ojama Delta Hurricane!' from my hand."

"When Ojama Green, Ojama Yellow, and Ojama Black are present on my field, destroy all cards on the opponent's field!"

Labyrinth Brothers: "Nani!?"

I saw the three ugly-cute little things in black, green, and yellow jump up in unison, sticking their bottoms—clad in triangular briefs—together in an extremely indecent pose, and then spinning rapidly like a wind-fire wheel.

A black, green, and yellow storm swirled up, sweeping across the Labyrinth Brothers' entire field with the force of thunder. The massive Gate Guardian was instantly engulfed by the unrivaled hurricane, and thousands of sharp blades shredded that massive body into pieces.

Both brothers' eyes turned red.

"Baka na (Impossible)!"

Their strongest monster, the invincible Gate Guardian, was actually taken out in seconds by these three small-fry in triangular briefs?

And it was done with such a mocking move.

"Next, I activate the Spell card 'Card of Demise'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Send one monster other than an Effect Monster from my field to the Graveyard, and draw two cards from my deck."

"I send 'Ojama Black' from my field to the Graveyard, and draw from my deck."

After drawing the card, Fujiki You Xuan caught a glimpse of one of the cards in his hand and smiled slightly.

It's here.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Set two cards on the field, turn end."

At this moment, the Labyrinth Brothers noticed that the two students on the opposite side exchanged a look.

Judai gave Fujiki You Xuan a thumbs-up, Fujiki You Xuan smiled slightly and nodded. Then Judai seemed to receive some kind of feedback, withdrew his gaze with satisfaction, and then rubbed his nose with anticipation.

The brothers suddenly had an ominous premonition.

But the duel was still ongoing, and they could only temporarily suppress the doubts and faint unease in their hearts.

The younger Labyrinth brother: "Then my turn, draw."

"At this moment." Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand to flip over his back row, "Open my set card! Trap card 'Ojama Trio'!"

"Special Summon three 'Ojama Tokens' on the opponent's field in Defense Position!"

"Go, Ojama brothers!"

Three Ojama tokens—green, yellow, and black—suddenly popped up on the Labyrinth Brothers' empty field; one was lying on their field snoring with its butt stuck out, one was drinking tea and eating snacks, and one was reading a newspaper.

【Ojama Token, Defense 1000】 x3

Labyrinth Brothers: "?"

What does this mean? Giving resources to the opponent for free?

"Next is another set card, Trap card 'Ojama Duo'!" Fujiki You Xuan's other back row flipped over, "Special Summon two 'Ojama Tokens' on the opponent's field!"

【Ojama Token, Defense 1000】 x2

"Ojama Tokens cannot be Tributed for an Advance Summon." Fujiki You Xuan said, "And when an 'Ojama Token' is destroyed, it will deal 300 points of damage to its controller for each one."

The Labyrinth Brothers seemed to suddenly realize.

"Hahaha, so that's it, is it a field-locking tactic?" the older Labyrinth brother laughed, "Indeed, usually if you can achieve such a combination, all five monster zones will be locked, and the opponent won't be able to summon monsters; it's quite a powerful tactic."

"But you seem to have overlooked one thing. This is a Tag Duel, and the field zones are shared by both sides; in other words, the two of us brothers together have a full ten monster zones."

"Using this locking formation, it seems you are completely unfamiliar with Tag Duels..."

"That's not necessarily true." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "Precisely because it's a Tag Duel, by borrowing the power of a teammate, we can achieve a stronger lock than usual."

"Exactly!" Judai laughed, "Now let us show you the ultimate lock achieved by the power of our bonds!"

"Open my set card! Continuous Trap - Spatial Collapse!"

"This card can only be activated when both sides have five or fewer cards on their respective fields."

"As long as this trap exists on the field, neither side can have more than five cards on their field!"
