Chapter 1333: Dark Magic High Priest!

Another ink-green magic circle opened, magic power surged, black robes fluttered, and the handsome, slender magician somersaulted out.

【Dark Magician, ATK 2500】

Seeing the master descend, Dark Magician Girl showed excitement and moved to the master's side.

Dark Magician master and apprentice, summon!

"Heh, has it appeared, the Pharaoh's lackey," Anubis sneered. "But do you think this kind of thing is enough to challenge my Sphinxes?"

Dark Yugi drew another card: "The power of the magician is infinite; in order to defeat stronger enemies, one can also become stronger without limit! This is the new form that will bring me a breakthrough!

I offer 'Dark Magician' and 'Dark Magician Girl' as sacrifices! The sealed magic power, release it here now! Appear—

—Dark Magic High Priest!!!"

The summoning condition is two Spellcaster-type monsters of Level 6 or higher; the Dark Magician master and apprentice disappeared from the field together, calling for the descent of a brand-new magic circle. The stern black magician descended amidst the interlacing pale blue lightning; lightning flashed and intersected between the magic circles, imposing without anger.

【Dark Magic High Priest, ATK 3200】

"This is the crystallization of the bond between me and the Dark Magician master and apprentice, the strongest magic high priest!" Dark Yugi pointed forward. "Even without the power of the Gods, I will achieve victory; I will use this power to break through the Jin Zita's blockade.

I then activate Magic Card 'Diffusion Wave-Motion'! This card allows me to pay 1000 Life Points to make the Spellcaster-type monster on my field attack all monsters on the opponent's field this turn!"

【Dark Yugi, LP4000 -> LP3000】

Dark Yugi: "Battle! Dark Magic High Priest, attack 'Sphinx Andro'!"

"Are you crazy?" Anubis shouted. "Even if you summoned this new high priest, Andro's ATK is still higher!"

Dark Yugi interrupted sternly: "Dark Magic High Priest's effect! When this card battles, according to the number of Spellcaster-type monsters in my Graveyard, the ATK of the monster battling the Magic High Priest decreases by the number of Spellcasters in the Graveyard x 500!" (Anime effect)

Anubis frowned: "Nani?"

At this time, Dark Yugi raised his Duel Disk, and the images of three Spellcasters had already appeared in the Graveyard. Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, and Magician's Valkyria, three translucent phantoms each turned into a light ball, shooting into Andro's body one after another under the guidance of the Magic High Priest's staff.

Sphinx Andro's momentum weakened by one point for every strike he took; after all three phantoms had completely entered Andro's body, his momentum was far from what it was before.

【Sphinx Andro, ATK 3500 -> ATK 2000】

"So that's it, a little bit of ability... but!" Anubis said. "Still too green! Activate Set Card, Trap Card 'Dimensional Prison'!

This card can banish the opponent's attacking monster directly from the game when the opponent declares an attack!"

Pitch-black lightning appeared out of thin air in the air, as if tearing through space, revealing a pitch-black crack. The Dark Magic High Priest's strike locked onto the dimensional black hole, and the astonishing gravity looked as if it were about to suck the newly landed High Priest into it.

However, it was at this moment that the Magic High Priest's staff turned, and a transparent wave erupted, as if some invisible will had exploded on the field. That wave shattered the dimensional vortex into fragments in an instant.

Anubis was startled again: "What?"

"It's useless, Dark Magic High Priest is the top-level high priest; traps are useless against him!" Dark Yugi said. "Dark Magic High Priest's effect can negate and destroy the activation of any Trap Card!!"

As he spoke, the Dimensional Prison card had already been shattered by magic power, and the High Priest's attack continued, blasting onto Sphinx Andro without any obstruction. The sturdy lion-faced human body exploded.

"Then before being negated, chain activate Quick-Play Magic 'Emergency Provisions'," Anubis said. "Send the activating 'Dimensional Prison' to the Graveyard to recover 1000 Life Points."

【Anubis, LP3400 -> LP4400 -> LP3200】

"It's not over yet!" Dark Yugi said. "According to the effect of 'Diffusion Wave-Motion', Dark Magic High Priest can continue to attack this turn!

Additional attack on 'Sphinx Teleia'!"

The Magic High Priest continued to hold his black staff high, and the magic power that poured out continuously exploded and spread in mid-air, splitting into several blades like slashes.

At the same time, the phantoms of Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, and Magician's Valkyria flashed out again, each turning into magic light balls and shooting into Sphinx Teleia's body, and the latter immediately wilted, like a big cat being held down.

【Sphinx Teleia, ATK 2500 -> ATK 1000】 The diffused magic light blades slashed one after another, dragging Teleia into them and annihilating her into particles.

【Anubis, LP3200 -> LP1000】

"Pity," Yugi Muto said. "If it weren't for the 1000 Life Points recovered just now, this strike would have decided the outcome."

"Yes," Dark Yugi said. "But our attack undoubtedly worked; it's only the last bit left... My turn end!"

Although he had been bragging until just now, he had indeed been stripped of most of his Life Points at this moment. Anubis knelt on one knee, blocking the damage impact with a sturdy arm, his expression quite gloomy, and his arrogant momentum seemed to have weakened invisibly.

Anubis knelt on the ground, his eyes closed tightly.

"Nameless Pharaoh, even without the power of the Gods, you could actually do this..."

But immediately after, before his tightly closed eyes, in that piece of darkness, a playful voice sounded.

"Nothing to be afraid of," the voice laughed. "Anubis, now you also possess new power."

Anubis was startled: "Lord Zorc? My new power?"

There was no reply, but a long string of sharp and somewhat eerie laughter sounded in the darkness.

The darkness gathered, seemingly faintly condensing into a card before his eyes.

A card that looked like... a black card?

This is the new power...

Anubis opened his eyes again, excitement flashing in them.

"Thank you, Lord Zorc."

He stood up with a ferocious smile.

With this power, now he would not lose to anyone again.

"My turn, draw card." Anubis flipped his palm, and another new hand card appeared in his palm.

He glanced at the card he drew, and then looked up and opened a back row card.

"Activate Set Card, Trap Card 'Prophecy of Reincarnation'! This card allows me to choose up to two cards in both players' Graveyards, and return them all to the owner's Deck.

I want to from my Graveyard..."

The two cards in Anubis's Graveyard flew out automatically, floating in mid-air.

"Return 'Sphinx Andro' and 'Sphinx Teleia' to the Deck and shuffle."

"Return to the Deck?" Dark Yugi immediately understood. "Right, these two monsters returning to the Deck is basically equivalent to direct resurrection..."

"Correct! Andro and Teleia are both monsters that can be Special Summoned directly from the Deck without conditions when 'Jin Zita of Light' is on the field!"

Anubis raised his sturdy arm.

"Therefore, resurrect from the Graveyard to my field again, and bring me victory!

Sphinx Andro!

Sphinx Teleia!" ===== CHAPTER 1334 =====
