Chapter 1408

【Hoshino Shingo, LP 2750】

Hoshino Shingo, having taken the damage, wiped the dust from his body and narrowed his eyes.

"I see, you've got a bit of skill. No wonder you have the capital to be arrogant."

"You flatter me, it's nothing special." Fujiki You Xuan made a gesture of invitation. "Come, it's your turn."

Hoshino Shingo: "My turn, draw."

Shingo drew a card.

"If you think the power of the Stellarknights is only this much, then you're too naive. I'll give you credit for breaking my Stellarknight Delteros, but the real battle is only just beginning!"

Shingo raised his voice.

"I summon 'Stellarknight Sombrero'!"

Starlight connected in the air, as if weaving into the image of a green sombrero. The constellation materialized, once again transforming into the image of a constellation knight.

【Stellarknight Sombrero, ATK 1550】

"'Stellarknight Sombrero's effect: by banishing one 'Stellarknight' monster from the Graveyard, I can return another 'Stellarknight' monster from the Graveyard to my hand."

Hoshino Shingo revealed the two Stellarknights he had taken from the Graveyard.

"I banish 'Stellarknight Rigel' from the Graveyard, and return 'Stellarknight Deneb' from the Graveyard to my hand."

Shingo revealed the monster card he had recovered to his hand.

"Then, 'Stellarknight Sombrero's follow-up effect: in the turn this recovery effect is activated, I can add one additional Normal Summon of a 'Stellarknight' monster."

Shingo immediately slapped the card he had just recovered back onto his Duel Disk.

"I Normal Summon 'Stellarknight Deneb' once again!"

Starlight flew into the air, connecting to form the constellation of the Archer. A centaur holding a golden bow materialized from that image.

【Stellarknight Deneb, ATK 1800】

Fujiki You Xuan clapped. "Not bad, you actually managed to assemble this formation again so quickly. Then let me guess, you're going to turn them into Level 5s next, right?"

Hoshino Shingo: "'Stellarknight Deneb's effect! Up to twice per turn, I can change the Level of a Stellarknight monster on the field, increasing or decreasing it by one Level.

I will use this effect twice in a row, increasing the Levels of both 'Stellarknight Deneb' and 'Stellarknight Sombrero' by one, making them Level 5!"

【Stellarknight Deneb, LV4 → LV5】

【Stellarknight Sombrero, LV4 → LV5】

"Then I overlay the Level 5 'Stellarknight Deneb' and 'Stellarknight Sombrero'!" Shingo said. "The two monsters construct the Overlay Network, Xyz Summon—"

"—Stellarknight Delteros, Number Two!"

【Stellarknight Delteros, ATK 2500】

"As expected, you brought out the second unit immediately." Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

Yuma was more nervous than the person involved: "Damn it, that troublesome Stellarknight knight that we finally managed to deal with, he actually brought out a second one so quickly..."

"It's not over yet! Didn't I say? The power of the Stellarknights is not just at this level."

Hoshino Shingo shouted. "Next, I activate the Equip Spell 'Xyz Revenge' from my hand!" Shingo said. "This card can Special Summon an Xyz monster from the Graveyard in Attack Position, and equip this card to it!

I revive the first 'Stellarknight Delteros' from the Graveyard!"

The image of the Spell Card appeared in his back row, starlight converged, and in the golden radiance, the body of the first Delteros condensed, tall and imposing, shrouded in that sacred light.

【Stellarknight Delteros, ATK 2500】

Judai rested his chin on his hand: "So two of such troublesome trump cards actually came out at once."

"However, in this case, the second one revived from the Graveyard has no Xyz Materials." Astral said. "Without materials, it's just a monster with 2500 ATK."

He paused and glanced at Shingo.

"But it looks like this guy has other ideas."

Sure enough, the next moment Hoshino Shingo continued: "Using 'Stellarknight Delteros' as Xyz Material, I overlay again!"

"Eh? He's actually overlaying again... Rank-Up!?" Yuma was surprised.

"That's right, my Stellarknights have the ability to Rank-Up and evolve. By using an Xyz monster with 'Stellarknight' in its name as material, I can Rank-Up again!"

Hoshino Shingo raised his hand.

"Rank-Up Xyz Summon—"

"—Stellarknight Constellar Diamond!"

Shining golden light surrounded Delteros, swallowing it whole and turning it into a golden shining star cluster.

Then the star cluster exploded, and a divine dragon with a holy white body soared out from within!

【Stellarknight Constellar Diamond, ATK 2700】

"Oh, it looks like an even more powerful guy has come out." Judai said lightly. "Looks pretty impressive."

At this moment, led by Brook, the surrounding resistance members all felt strange as they watched.

They watched Fujiki You Xuan and this academy cadre fight, every step making them tremble with fear, all of them breaking out in a cold sweat. Yet these few seafood-heads were clearly Fujiki You Xuan's companions, so why were they so relaxed and happy, as if they were watching a show?

"'Stellarknight Constellar Diamond's effect activates!" Hoshino Shingo said. "Once per turn, by detaching one Xyz Material, I can return any one monster from my or the opponent's field or Graveyard to the owner's hand!"

Yugi on the side reacted quickly: "What a powerful ability. Not only can it bounce the opponent's cards to disrupt the field, but it can also bounce one's own cards to recover resources and accelerate the deck's operation..."

"That's right, this is the power of Stellarknight Constellar Diamond!" Hoshino Shingo said. "And now, I will immediately use this effect to bounce your 'Infernity Doom Dragon' back to your hand!"

He laughed loudly.

"Infernity Doom Dragon is a Synchro Monster, so there's no need to return it to the hand, just return it directly to the Extra Deck for me!"

The Stellarknight Constellar Diamond gathered starlight all over its body, seemingly charging up, precisely locking onto the direction of the Infernity Doom Dragon.

"Then I activate my face-down card." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Trap Card 'Skill Prisoner'!

I target one card on my field, and for this turn, all monster effects that target that card are negated!"

The Infernity Doom Dragon let out a wise roar. The invisible wave released by the trap converged on the body of the Infernity Doom Dragon, seemingly reflecting the starlight that had descended upon it, causing the starlight gathering on the Constellar Diamond to dim instantly.

"Tch, negated is negated, then I want to see what you're going to do about the second shot."

Hoshino Shingo shouted.

"Then I chain the activation of 'Stellarknight Delteros's effect! Detach one Xyz Material, and bounce 'Infernity Doom Dragon' back to the hand!"
